Arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport, you will be welcomed by our local guide and driver then transferred to your hotel for check in. Cambodia’s capital is a bustling city, majestically located at the confluence of the mighty rivers of the Mekong and Tonlé Sap. 

Many of the tourist areas and sights are in the old central city near the river where you may notice classic old French buildings in classic colonial yellow amongst the Southeast Asian shophouses and traditional Khmer pagodas and markets. 

Afternoon, start your tour with Wat Phnom temple, the founding place of the city on a small hilltop, is tied to the beginnings of Phnom Penh.The large stupa contains the remains of King Ponhea Yat (1405-1467) who moved the Khmer capital from Angkor to Phnom Penh the early 15th century. Then continue to the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda in the same compound where you can see a collection of Buddhas in gold, silver, crystal etc. called Wat Preah Keo and a pagoda with over 5000 silver tiles cover its floors.

Your next stop is the National Museum, located just north of the Royal Palace, a housed in a graceful terracotta structure of traditional design (built from 1917 to 1920), with an inviting courtyard garden. The museum is home to the world’s finest collection of Khmer sculpture: a millennium’s worth and more of masterful Khmer design.

Late afternoon, enjoy an atmospheric sunset river cruise with soft drink, unlimited beer and watch the great views of colonial building over the Mekong River. 

Overnight in Phnom Penh.

After breakfast, this morning, you will start tour to visit Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, former school that was taken and convert to be prison by the Khmer Rouge and used as its main detention and torture center named ‘S-21’. Then combine the tour with the colorful markets of Phnom Penh, visit the Russian Market, the best place in the city for wood and stone carvings, jewellery, clothes and Cambodian silk souvenirs. 

Transfer to Phnom Penh Airport for domestic flight to Siem Reap (your own pay). Arrival in Siem Reap Angkor internation airport. Before you transfer to hotel for check in, you will start to explore Siem Reap tour by excursion to Kampong Phluck floating villages for boat trip on the Tonle Sap Lake, where you will have the opportunity to learn about daily life of local people on the lake. You will see houses on the high stills that built within the floodplain about 16 km southeast of Siem Reap. The villages are primarily Khmer and have about 3000 inhabitants between them. Flooded mangrove forest surrounds the area and is home to a variety of wildlife including crab-eating macaques. On the way, you will passed by the floating houses. Experience with ox-cart riding throughout the local villages, rice field, vegetable field, may sometime you can interact with children out from school back to their home. Sunset may can visit over the rice field. aThen back to the city to check in the hotel.

(Note: Due to the boat trip is only possible from June to March. However an alternative floating village at Chong Kneas or Mechrey can be arranged instead).

Aujourd'hui, option pour le lever du soleil sur le temple d'Angkor Wat. Observez le lever du soleil sur le temple d'Angkor pour découvrir la beauté naturelle de cette région. Retour à l'hôtel pour le petit-déjeuner. Après le petit-déjeuner, visite de l'ancienne ville d'Angkor Thom, dernière capitale de l'Empire khmer sous le règne du roi Jayavarman VII. Vous pourrez prendre des photos devant l'ancienne porte sud d'Angkor Thom, avant d'entrer dans la ville. Vous serez impressionné par la porte en pierre sculptée avec la tour d'Avalokiteshvara à quatre faces, avec des statues de dieux ou de démons tenant le serpent naga des deux côtés de l'entrée. Ensuite, continuez vers le temple Bayon, au centre de la ville. Ses 54 tours gothiques sont décorées de 216 visages souriants et gargantuesques d'Avalokiteshvara, et il est orné de 1,2 km de bas-reliefs extraordinaires incorporant plus de 11 000 figures situées au cœur d'Angkor Thom, au 12e siècle. Continuez vers la Terrasse des Eléphants et la Terrasse du Roi Lépreux, dont les bas-reliefs peuvent être visités.

Continuez ensuite vers les temples de Ta Prohm, le célèbre temple de "l'arbre dans le temple", construit entre le milieu du XIIe et le début du XIIIe siècle. Continuation vers Banteay Kdei, monastère bouddhiste de la fin du XIIe siècle, et Srah Srang, également connu sous le nom de "piscine des ablutions".

L'après-midi, visite du célèbre temple d'Angkor Vat, construit sous le règne du roi Suryavarman II au début du XIIe siècle, Angkor Vat est une représentation terrestre du mont Meru, entouré d'une vaste douve, Angkor Vat était dédié aux dieux hindous. Angkor Vat est connu pour les plus de 2 000 danseuses Apsara qui décorent le temple. Après cela, continuez à apprécier le paysage depuis le sommet de la montagne Bakheng au moment du coucher du soleil. Retour à votre hôtel.

Ce soir, vous êtes libre de profiter des installations de l'hôtel ou de découvrir la petite ville de Siem Reap pour découvrir le mode de vie local et les marchés colorés dans la soirée. Vous pourrez peut-être vous rendre sur les marchés pour déguster de délicieux plats de rue ou vous promener dans un long marché de nuit.

Aujourd'hui, si le temps le permet, visitez les Artisans d'Angkor, l'école d'art et d'artisanat qui a été créée en 1992 afin de soutenir les jeunes pauvres cambodgiens et d'aider les jeunes à trouver du travail dans leurs villages locaux en continuant la pratique des arts traditionnels. Vous y trouverez des sculptures en bois et en pierre, ainsi que des peintures sur soie.

Transfert à l'aéroport pour votre vol de départ.
