Tour program

Day 1

London - Start of Trip

It's an early start, but an exciting one, because today is the first day of your group tour! Make your way to Kings Cross Station to meet up with the rest of your group and the tour leader - you'll have already had the chance to speak with everyone on WhatsApp so you can pick up from where you left off as you take the Eurostar towards Amsterdam. You'll arrive into the Netherlands in the late afternoon, where you'll head to the hostel to get checked in and freshened up, before meeting up with everyone in the hostel bar for some boozy bingo.

Start point

The Parcel Yard, King's Cross Station, London, England N1C 4UR, United Kingdom

09:00

On Day 2, the group will embark on the first included activity - and it's an exciting one! We'll take a pancake boat tour around the famous canals. After you've filled your boots with pancakes and sights, you'll have free time to explore the city however you please. Relax in the city’s gorgeous parks and riverside bars, or wander the pretty markets. Then, venture down Amsterdam's red-light district after dark before getting a feel for their unbeatable nightlife.

On your last full day in Amsterdam why not visit one of the many museums such as Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, or Anne Frank's House? Or hire a bike and travel like a local!

Included: 'Boozy Bingo' & Pancake Boat Tour

From The Netherlands, you'll be heading to Germany's capital. On the first night, drop your stuff at the hostel and enjoy a quick drink at the bustling hostel bar. If you're up for it, head out to get a taste of techno in any of Berlin's clubs. In the morning, we'll take a trip to the iconic TV Tower where you can enjoy 360-degree views of the city, then grab an obligatory currywurst.

For the rest of your stay in Berlin, you’ve got free time – the perfect opportunity to explore Europe’s coolest city and marvel at the contrast between old and new. Take a bike or walking tour, or book yourself tickets to the Reichstag dome! In the evening, join us at the hostel bar for Youtube Karaoke and beers.

Included: Berlin TV Tower

Take the train east to the capital of the Czech Republic for 2 nights. Prague’s city centre is crammed full of history and architecture, so you’ll feel like you’re walking around a fairytale city. In the evening, get ready for a medieval and completely bonkers experience - something we can guarantee you have never done before! We'll go for a 5-course meal, accompanied by belly dancers, snakes, and sword fights - all taking place in a cave. What else are you going to do when in Prague?!

The next day is yours, so explore the bridges and gargoyles at your own leisurely pace, before seeing the rest of the city by night. Be sure to visit some of the best eating and drinking spots Prague has to offer before the end of your stay here!

Included: Medival Tavern Show

Pull into one of Budapest’s many train stations and prepare to be blown away by this bohemian city. The Hungarian capital is one of Central Europe’s biggest - a bustling and artistic city, overflowing with quirky restaurants, nightlife, and stunning architecture. No wonder this has become such a hot destination in the last few years -  it is completely unique!

On the first full day, we’ll relax in the world famous Szechenyi Baths (included activity), and hit the ruin pubs by night. The second day can be spent however you wish - enjoy wandering the streets of the Jewish quarter, spotting murals on every corner. In your own time, explore the city on two wheels, or hire a buggy to tour Margaret Island. Make sure to take the trek up to Fisherman's Bastion as the view is unbeatable, stopping to marvel at the Hungarian Parliament building on the way - it's a truly impressive sight! Remember to catch a traditional Hungarian Langos on your way out.

Included: Szechenyi Baths

We will then make the short train journey to Vienna for a one-night stay. The former capital of the Habsburg Empire is overflowing with awe-inspiring palaces to wonder around. Shake things up and instead of walking everywhere, soak up the culture from the water with an afternoon of paddleboarding by the Danube. Meet up with the group in the evening for a trip to Prater Park. If that doesn’t capture your imagination, rest assured that Vienna has some of Europe’s best bars and nightclubs to make the most of.

Spend your second day exploring the Naschmarkt for some artsy bargains, or treat yourself to afternoon tea in one of Vienna’s civilised cafes, before taking the train to Venice.

Included: Prater Park

Arrive in Venice and get ready to explore the intricate network of canals that form the veins of the city. Don’t spend too much time relaxing by the canals though, as there’s plenty to see and do on the 127 islands that make up this medieval city!

Take a trip up to Basilica San Marco and enjoy the glorious views and, on day 2, tick off the ultimate Venetian bucket list item: the Gondola ride!

Enjoy a dreamy hour spent drifting through this majestic city before we say goodbye to the first half of our group as they head back home. On day 3 in Venice, we’ll welcome the new group members joining us for their Southern Europe route. Get to know each other while visiting the perfectly pastel islands of Murano and Burano, enjoying gelato en route, before heading off the following day for Rome.

Included: Gondola Ride

Included: Murano, Burano & Torcello Islands

After some chilled-out recuperation, pick up the pace again as we head to Rome, the ‘living theatre’ and a perfect place to experience a taste of the ancient world. Drop your bags at the hostel when you arrive, and head out for traditional pizza or pasta!

On the morning of Day 2, the included activity will be a trip to the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Marvel at the thousands of paintings within the museums, and of course the famous Michaelangelo. In the afternoon, opt for a visit to the Colosseum and Roman Forum, or just wander around the world-class sights of the city. Head to the YellowBar in the evening for some drinks and a boogie, if you're up for it!

Included: Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel

We will continue the journey on to Florence, the capital of Tuscany. This city was recently voted Europe’s favourite destination and it’s easy to see why. The city is a masterpiece of architecture and a hub for art history. It also serves up some of the best pizza and pasta in Italy!

Start your first morning in the city with free time to explore. We recommend strolling past Florence Cathedral, Piazza Della Signoria (try to find the Michelangelo face), Ponte Vecchio, and the Porcellino Fountain, being sure to touch the nose for good luck. Want to kick off your time here with some activities? Book on to optional trips to marvel at the artwork of the Uffizi Museum, or simply have a picnic in the charming Boboli Gardens.

The next day you'll spend on a whimsical tour into the Chianti vineyards, where you'll get to sample some of the region's best wine.  We can guarantee you'll feel like an Italian wine connoisseur after this!

Feeling hungry? Florentine steak is some of the world’s best. Find your nearest steakhouse and order some whilst you’re here - trust us, you won’t be disappointed!

Included: Chianti Wine Tour

After your Italian adventures, you’ll find yourself on the French Riviera in Nice - bask in the sunshine in this glamorous city. Spend your first night in the city doing one of our optional activities: you can go on a walking tour of the Nice Old Town and Castle Hill, or head out on a club and bar crawl of one of France’s liveliest destinations.

The next day is jam-packed with adventure. Grab a bite to eat before your afternoon included activity - scuba diving in the Mediterranean Sea. You'll be getting up close to some of the coast’s stunning sea life! Speed back past the homes of the rich and famous along the coastline, and get back in time for an epic bar crawl along the Old Town. If you fancy something different, we have two optional activities in Nice to choose from - you can hire a kayak and spend a bit more time in the water, or join the Nice Segway Tour and explore on 2 wheels!

Included: Scuba Diving

After your 2 nights in Nice, your next stop will be Barcelona! Arrive in the early evening, just in time to catch the hussle and bussle on Las Ramblas! The next day you'll have free, so you can ascend to the skies on the Montjuic Cable Car to get stunning panoramic views of Barcelona and the Spanish coastline, or catch some rays on the city's beach - it’s completely up to you!

Hopefully you haven't eaten too much tapas just yet, as your second day will be be spent learning how to cook traditional tapas at one of Barcelona's top cooking schools. The group will then have the afternoon free, so you could take this time to learn about the story of one of Spain’s most influential creators at the Gaudi Museum, before walking up through the city to see one of the pieces you’ll have just learned about: Parc Guell. Follow on from that by taking a stroll through the beautiful architecture of the Gothic Quarter, going for a sail on a catamaran, or cooling off at the beachfront ice bar.

Included:  Tapas Cooking Experience

Your trip around Europe finishes in one of the most beautiful cities on earth: Paris. Get your selfie stick out by the Eiffel Tower and wind down in the famous ‘City of Lights’.

On day two, use your time to absorb some culture at the world-famous Louvre, home to the Mona Lisa and over 7000 other astonishing artworks. Finish the trip with a sunset visit to the Tour Montparnasse – watch the Eiffel Tower sparkle in the evening glow while reminiscing on the last 4 weeks together, before saying goodbye to the trip of a lifetime. Not a bad way to end, eh?!

Included: Montparnasse Tower

Arrive in London in the late afternoon. Either finish your journey here, or continue your onward journey home to your nearest UK station.
