Bienvenue dans notre circuit privé au Japon, dont tous les détails sont personnalisables ! A votre arrivée à l'aéroport de Narita ou Haneda, notre assistant anglophone vous guidera vers une navette partagée qui vous conduira directement à votre hôtel à Shinjuku à Tokyo. Enregistrez-vous et profitez d'un bon repos pour vous remettre de votre long vol.

Aujourd'hui, notre premier arrêt est le sanctuaire Meiji Jingu, un important sanctuaire shinto dédié à l'empereur Meiji (1852 - 1912 après J.-C.) et à son impératrice. Ensuite, nous nous rendrons au Palais impérial, la résidence de l'empereur du Japon, pour visiter le jardin national Kokyo Gaien, les vastes jardins de l'Est et le très photogénique pont Nijubashi.

À midi, nous visiterons le temple Senso-ji, le plus ancien temple de Tokyo. Entrez par l'emblématique porte Kaminarimon, flânez dans la rue animée Nakamise-dori, bordée de petites boutiques de souvenirs et de snacks.

★ Bonus : Croisière sur la rivière Sumida

Enfin, le guide vous escortera jusqu'à l'embarcadère d'Asakusa pour une croisière de 50 minutes sur le fleuve Sumida. Une fois à terre, si vous avez le temps, le guide vous accompagnera pour une promenade le long du parc marin d'Odaiba et visiter une statue de la Liberté miniature avant de retourner à votre hôtel.

Your guide will pick you up at the hotel lobby and accompany you on a bullet train ride to Odawara, where we’ll then ascend Hakone Mountain using the Tozan Train and Tozan Cable Car, followed by a ropeway ride to Owakudani Valley. 

After admiring the valley’s volcanic view, continue in the all-glass gondola to Togendai Port, and you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Hakone Mountains, Lake Ashi, and Mt. Fuji in the distance. Once there, join your guide on a corsair-style ship for a 20-minute cruise, breathing in the cool, fresh air while taking in the elegant Mt. Fuji from an unobstructed view. After visit, the guide will escort you back to Tokyo by express train for the night.

► Prenez le train de Tokyo à Takayama par vos propres moyens :

Veuillez vous enregistrer et partir 40 minutes avant l'heure de départ du train. Prenez la ligne Chuo ou la ligne Marunouchi depuis la gare de Shinjuku pendant 20 minutes jusqu'à la gare de Tokyo, ou prenez un taxi pour arriver en 20 minutes. Montez à bord du train à grande vitesse Tokaido-Sanyo pour une expérience impressionnante d'une heure et demie jusqu'à Nagoya. Transférez à la ligne Hida et roulez encore 2,5 heures jusqu'à Takayama.

Visite des sites et monuments de Takayama

Notre guide vous accueillera à la gare de Takayama et vous accompagnera pour déposer vos bagages à l'hôtel. Nous visiterons d'abord le quartier Sanmachi Suji dans la vieille ville de Takayama. Passez le pont Nakabashi, puis remontez le temps en visitant le Takayama Jinya (ancienne maison du gouverneur) et le Takayama Showa Kan Museum. La dernière étape sera le temple Hida Kokubunji, qui présente des poupées Sarubobo porte-bonheur bénissant un mariage harmonieux et des enfants en bonne santé. Le soir, le guide vous raccompagnera à l'hôtel.

Takayama to Shirakawa-go: A Journey into Tradition

After breakfast, our guide will pick you up from the hotel lobby for a scenic bus ride to Shirakawa-go. In about 1 hour, we will arrive at Shirakawa-go. Visit the Wada House to have a glimpse into the utensils and lifestyle of the villagers in the past. Climb up to the Ogimachi Castle Observation Deck and look down on the entire village.

Trip to Kanazawa:

Around noon, we’ll take a 1.5-hour bus ride to Kanazawa. Upon arrival, our guide will take you to check into the hotel, and then visit the Kenroku-en Garden, aka Six Attributes Garden. Take a leisurely walk with our guide in this typical wraparound garden centered on a pond, and admire the exquisite pavilions. From here, we’ll walk all the way to the Kanazawa Castle Park to learn about the city’s feudal past, and later have time spent at the Higashichaya Old Town (geisha district) and Nagamachi Samurai District. Finally, return to the hotel with our guide.

We will reserve the train tickets to Kyoto for you in advance. Please check out and walk 4 minutes north to Kanazawa Station, where you will take the train for about 2 hours to Kyoto, with a transfer at Tsuruga – 40-minute bullet train Hokuriku Line from Kanazawa to Tsuruga first, transfer by escalator or elevator from 3F to 1F to find the platform for the express train Thunderbird for another 1 hour ride to Kyoto.

Walking Tour of Pure Water Temple & Gion Geisha District

Upon arrival, our local guide will meet you at the Kyoto Station and lead you to the hotel. See the magnificent Kyoto Tower just outside the train station, and then we’ll have an afternoon tour to Gion, a renowned geisha district offering unique cultural experiences and scenic trails. Leisurely walk through the Gion Street, venture to the Yasaka Shrine at the end of the street, appreciate its Buden Stage hung with lanterns. Follow the guide as you plunge into the retro Higashiyama historic district. Take a photo at the landmark five-story Yasaka Pagoda of the Hokan-ji Temple, and then wander from Ninenzaka to Sannenzaka. Eventually, we will climb all the way up to the Pure Water Temple, one of the most revered temples in all of Japan.

After breakfast, meet our guide in your hotel lobby. Take a 40-minute train ride to Nara to experience the best of the old capital. Step into the  Nara Park to visit the quaint temples and shrines scattered throughout. First, check out the Kofuku-ji Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site built in 669 AD. Then pay a visit to the Kasuga Taisha Shrine, Nara’s holiest shrine, to explore its secluded layout and stately architecture. Cross the vast green spaces and pass the Nara National Museum to reach the spectacular Great Eastern Temple, where you’ll marvel at the huge bronze Buddha statue.

Take an afternoon stroll with our guide who knows well the local neighborhood, passing by the Gango-ji Temple, Goryo Shrine, and diving into the secret paths of Naramachi to feel the real life atmosphere. Visit the Naramachi Lattice House hidden in the back alley, a lovely and rarely visited traditional residence that is a great place to take photos. Finally, our guide will accompany you back to your hotel in Kyoto for the night.

Your day begins with a visit to the Fushimi Inari Shrine, Kyoto’s most iconic Shinto shrine. Next, immerse yourself in the tranquility of the Sanjusangendo Temple, a Buddhist site boasting the longest wooden building in the world and an amazing group of Kannon statues. At noon, the guide will take you to the Nishiki Market, a 400-year-old market teeming with a variety of Japanese snacks.

In the afternoon, we will visit the World Heritage site Nijo Castle, built by Tokugawa Ieyasu in 1603. In addition to admiring its stone walls and moat, you can ascend its observation platform offering a view of half of Kyoto.  Afterwards, we’ll head to the Temple of the Golden Pavilion. Linger before its main building, the fascinating three-story pavilion covered in dazzling gold leaf that glows over a green pond.

Finally, the guide will accompany you back to your hotel to retrieve your luggage, see you off at the Kyoto Station for a bullet train to Hiroshima (tickets reserved and included). Enjoy the 1 hour 40 minutes’ rail journey to Hiroshima on your own. Upon arrival, walk 5 minutes northwest to your hotel.

Le matin, notre guide d'Hiroshima vous accueillera dans le hall de l'hôtel. Nous commencerons par une excursion en bateau jusqu'à l' île de Miyajima, en profitant de la vue sur la baie d'Hiroshima et de la brise matinale de la mer. À l'approche du rivage, débarquez pour explorer les palais du sanctuaire d'Itsushima, classé au patrimoine mondial, construit en bord de mer.

Visite spéciale du site de bombardement d'Hiroshima :

De retour dans le centre-ville d'Hiroshima, le guide vous conduira à la visite du dôme de la bombe atomique, le seul bâtiment ayant survécu à la bombe atomique larguée sur la ville en 1945. Traversez le pont qui enjambe la rivière Motoyasu et promenez-vous dans le parc du Mémorial de la paix d'Hiroshima, où vous pourrez admirer les monuments érigés à la mémoire des victimes du bombardement. Le musée du Mémorial de la paix est à ne pas manquer, où vous pourrez voir de nombreuses photographies et reliques choquantes qui témoignent des horribles conséquences du bombardement et de son impact à long terme sur la vie des gens.

En fin d'après-midi, le guide vous conduira à la gare d'Hiroshima pour prendre un train à destination d'Osaka (billets de train réservés et inclus). Prenez le train à grande vitesse d'une heure et demie par vous-même, puis rejoignez l'hôtel. Depuis la gare de Shin-Osaka, prenez la ligne Midosuji pendant 16 minutes (7 arrêts) jusqu'à la gare de Namba, puis marchez 5 minutes vers l'est jusqu'à votre hôtel. Vous pouvez également prendre un taxi pour vous y rendre en 25 minutes, pour un coût d'environ 30 USD.

Le matin, faites vos valises et rangez-les à l'hôtel. Notre guide vous attendra dans le hall de l'hôtel. Nous visiterons d'abord le marché Kuromon , vieux de 190 ans (fermé le dimanche), connu sous le nom de "cuisine d'Osaka" et incontournable pour les gourmands. Ensuite, notre guide vous montrera le château d'Osaka, vieux de 450 ans, et le parc qui l'entoure.

► Si le temps le permet, nous visiterons la zone commerciale de Shinsekai et verrons sa tour emblématique Tsutenkaku.

► Fin de l'excursion : Il vous est suggéré de réserver un vol de nuit au départ d'Osaka. Veuillez vous rendre par vos propres moyens à l'aéroport pour votre vol de retour. N'hésitez pas à nous contacter si vous avez besoin de personnaliser ou de prolonger ce voyage.
