Itinéraire

Le circuit de trekking du Manaslu vous emmène à travers la verdure et l'exubérance de la région du Manaslu. Les vues spectaculaires du mont Manaslu (8163 m), la huitième plus haute montagne du monde, accompagné du Sringi Himal (7161 m), de l'Himalchuli (7893 m), du Syala Himal (6235 m), de l'Himlung Himal (7126 m), du Ganesh Himal II (7118 m) et du Simnang Himal (6251 m), parmi tant d'autres, sont hypnotiques et ne manqueront pas d'offrir un spectacle tout à fait paradisiaque à vos yeux.

Le trek du circuit du Manaslu commence par un trajet en voiture jusqu'à Arughat, puis se poursuit jusqu'à la bouillonnante Soti Khola, joviale dans son écoulement argenté depuis les montagnes. Vous traverserez des forêts verdoyantes et luxuriantes, riches de leur végétation émeraude, et longerez la rivière Budhi Gandaki. En arrivant au village de Labubesi, un petit village Gurung, vous serez soumis à une image opulente du terrain ravissant de la région du Manaslu. La Machha Khola, effervescente dans son percolat, décore le paysage comme un point d'argent dans la broderie blasonnée du paysage de la région du Manaslu. Les villages de Jagat, Philim et Deng s'approchent du sentier de trekking, vous permettant d'observer de plus près les coutumes et traditions religieuses des habitants de ces régions. Lors du trekking vers Namrung, vous serez séduit par les vues absolument magnifiques des pics montagneux comme le Sringi Himal. En marchant plus loin, la vue magnifique de l'Himchuli Himal est tout à fait captivante à Lamagaun. En traversant vers le village de Lho, vous aurez la chance de visiter le monastère de Ribung, et de voir des vues magnifiques et extraordinaires du Mont Manaslu ainsi que de plusieurs autres pics environnants.

Outre les paysages magnifiques, le terrain est également orné de diverses sculptures de murs en pierre de Mani et de drapeaux de prière bouddhistes attachés aux branches et aux flèches des monastères. Ces drapeaux de prière colorés offrent un contraste saisissant avec la terre ferme améthyste du pays. Les monastères et les lieux de culte sont un aspect important du voyage de trekking, car ils confèrent une ambiance religieuse et pieuse à l'atmosphère du trekking. La visite du Pungyen Gompa, un monastère séculaire qui offre une vue imprenable sur l'Himalaya, est un autre point fort du trekking. Sur le chemin du Dharmashala, le sentier de trekking grimpe à travers des forêts verdoyantes de genévriers et de pins pour atteindre le magnifique point de vue où apparaît le glacier de Larkya La. Day 1

Arrivée à l'aéroport international Tribhuwan, Katmandou

Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport and meet your Escape Himalaya Trek representative. Transfer to your hotel in Kathmandu, relax, and get an overview of your trekking adventure. Take the day to enjoy the city or unwind at your hotel, preparing for the journey ahead.

Day 2

Katmandou - Machha Khola (900m), 160 km de route, 8-9 heures

Drive from Kathmandu to Machha Khola via Arughat. Pass scenic Nepalese landscapes with Himalayan backdrops. The first five hours are on paved roads to Tari Besi, then continue on rough roads to Machha Khola.

Day 3

De Machha Khola à Jagat (1340 m), 22 km de marche, 5-6 heures

Trek along the Tharo Khola and Budhi Gandaki River. Cross suspension bridges, hot springs at Tatopani, and navigate rocky staircases before reaching Jagat village.

Day 4

De Jagat à Deng (2095 m), 20 km de marche, 8-9 heures

Walk through forests, suspension bridges, and rivers. Explore Philim village and nearby hills, then continue past waterfalls and settlements like Eklebhatti and Pewa, reaching Deng.

Day 5

De Deng à Namrung (2900m), 19,5 km de marche, 5-6 heures

Trek along the Budhi Gandaki valley, passing Ghap village. Cross rivers multiple times and visit small monasteries before reaching Namrung with stunning views of Sringi Himal.

Day 6

De Namrung à Lho Gaon (3180 m), 10,5 km de marche, 5-6 heures

Hike to Lamagaun for Himalchuli views, then continue to Lho Gaon. The optional side trip to Pungyen Gompa offers spectacular vistas of Mt. Manaslu.

Day 7

De Lho Gaon à Samagaun (3500 m), randonnée de 8,1 km, 6-7 heures.

Follow the Pungyen glacier trail to Samagaun, a large picturesque village. Enjoy panoramic views of Mt. Manaslu and immerse yourself in local culture.

Day 8

Acclimatation à Samagaon

Take a day to acclimatize. Option for a full-day hike to Manaslu Base Camp (4800m) or shorter hikes to Birendra Tal and nearby glaciers.

Day 9

De Samagaon à Samdo (3875 m), 8 km de marche, 3 heures

Trek across alpine pastures to Samdo, a Tibetan refugee settlement. Enjoy close-up views of Manaslu and explore local Tibetan culture.


Overnight at the guesthouse. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner are included.

Day 10

De Samdo à Dharmashala (4450 m), 11,5 km de marche, 4 heures.

Cross Budhi Gandaki River and trek through juniper woods and tundra vegetation. Spot Mani walls and glaciers en route to Dharmashala.

Day 11

De Dharmashala à Bimthang (3590 m) via le Larkya La (5106 m), 24,5 km de trek, 8 heures : 8 heures

Climb Larkya La Pass with spectacular views of Himlung, Cheo, Kang Guru, and Annapurna II. Descend through a scenic valley to Bimthang.

Day 12

De Bimthang à Tilche (2300 m), 20 km de marche, 6-7 heures

Descend through pine and rhododendron forests, emerald meadows, and along Dudh Khola. Pass Gho village before reaching Tilche, a traditional Gurung settlement.

Day 13

Tilche à Dharapani/Chamje, route vers Katmandou, 8-9 heures

Trek down to Chamje via Dudh Khola and Thonje, then transfer by jeep through scenic hills and forests back to Kathmandu.


Overnight at the hotel. Breakfast and Lunch are included.

Day 14

Départ définitif de Katmandou

You'll be transferred to Tribhuwan International Airport for your onward flight. Depart with lasting memories of the Manaslu Circuit adventure.

General Booking Conditions

For Nepal, Tibet and Bhutan Tours: Provide us a photocopy of your passport and 20% of trip cost as a deposit while booking your trip with us. The deposit amount is nonrefundable.

Risk and Liabilities

All the Nepal, China and Bhutan Tours are conducted under the strict rules and regulations of the tourism board of the respective countries. We are not liable for any changes or cancellations of the trip under unavoidable circumstances like the change in rules and regulations of Country, Government restrictions, natural disasters, political instability and cancellation of flights, delays, sickness or accident and breakdown of vehicles. Any extra cost incurred due to such circumstances shall be borne by the clients themselves. Therefore, Travel Insurance is mandatory.

Last Minute Booking

We accept last minute bookings. You can book a trip to Nepal 7 days prior to the trip departure dates. Last minute booking may not be acceptable in the cases of Bhutan or Tibet Trips.

Postponing the Trip

A written notice should be sent to us 30 days prior to the trip departure date.

In case of postponing of Nepal Tour, minimum USD 150 will be charged as a current trip cancellation charge and the remaining amount will be transferred for the postponed trip.

In case of postponing of Tibet and Bhutan Tour, a trip cancellation charge will be charged as per the trending market rate of those countries. It solely depends upon the ongoing policy of our agents in Tibet and Bhutan. For now, 20% of trip costs and 50% of trip costs will be charged in case of postponing of Bhutan and Tibet Trip respectively.

Trip Cancellation (Nepal)

In case you intend to cancel your trip for any reasons, you need to write it to us 14 days prior to your trip departure date. We shall approve it as canceled only after receiving a valid written notice from the client. If the reason for your cancellation is genuine like injury or serious illness, you can postpone your trip or transfer your booking to another person who meets all the requirements for the trip. However, a fee of USD 150 per person will be charged if you postpone or transfer your trip within 15 days prior to your trip date. As per our policy, the deposit amount is non-refundable, therefore, you can utilize the amount to book a trip with Escape Himalaya next time.

Trip Cancellation (Bhutan)

A valid written notice of cancellation should be provided 30 days prior to your trip departure date. In case you cancel your Bhutan Tour, 20% of the trip cost will be charged as a cancellation charge (even in case of postponing or transfer of a trip to another person). The remaining amount will remain secured with Escape Himalaya as a deposit from you. You can utilize it to book the tour with Escape Himalaya next time. The amount is non-refundable.

Trip Cancellation (Tibet)

A valid written notice of cancellation should be provided 30 days prior to your trip departure date. In case you cancel your Tibet tour, 50% of the trip cost will be charged as a cancellation charge (even in case of postponing or transfer of a trip to another person). The remaining amount will remain secured with Escape Himalaya as a deposit from you. You can utilize it to book the tour with Escape Himalaya next time. The amount is non-refundable.

Incomplete Tour

We are not liable for any refunds in cases of any incomplete tour, trek or expedition whatever the reason.

Unforeseen Circumstances

If your trip gets canceled due to any unforeseen circumstances like natural disasters, war or unfavorable climatic conditions, we will arrange another trip for you. Thus, even if your trip isn’t the one you chose, your money will not go in vain.

Price Changing

We reserve our rights to change the price under various circumstances. Though our action will be reasonably pertaining to cases of some circumstances such as the drastic change in exchange rate, inflation, government actions, and others, we are not liable to answer to anyone for our action.

Travel Insurance

We highly recommend a comprehensive travel insurance package to all our clients. The insurance must cover all the medical expense, personal accident, emergency evacuation, and trip cancellation, loss of gears and natural calamity, theft of or damage to baggage and personal effects and helicopter services in the mountains.

Flight Delay/Cancellation

Flight delays and cancellation tend to happen quite often during bad weather conditions in remote areas, particularly in the Everest region, the Annapurna region, Dolpo, Simikot and Jumla region. Therefore, it is advisable to carry some extra money to buy food and accommodations in case of delays. Escape Himalaya will not be responsible for any of the additional expenses. Therefore, please plan accordingly.

Your Personal Belongings

We are not liable for any damage or loss of your luggage or property. They are at your own risk.

During the Tour

In case you commit any unlawful act during your tour and you are compelled to leave Nepal, Escape Himalaya is not liable for any kind of refunds.

Our Terms and Conditions are applicable only if you book your trip with us directly. If you book your trip with us through any agents or third party, you shall be liable to their Terms and Conditions.
