Circuit de 3 jours au village de Vedda et au parc national de Gal Oya

06:30 You will be picked up from your hotel and driven to Mahiyanganaya 

12:30 On arrival at Mahiyanganaya, you will check in to Adaviya Resort for lunch. 

14:00 You will be taken to DAMBANA, the remote jungle village of indigenous people. The population of these indigenous 'Veddha' people now consists of only about 350 families, a number significantly reduced from a once thriving community. The 'Veddha' are so influenced by the imposing dominant culture that they risk losing their traditions and what has been their livelihood for centuries. Visitors to this fascinating village have the opportunity to meet and chat with the people who live there, learn about their traditions, and gain a unique insight into their way of life. 

18:00 Arrive back to your hotel and spend couple of hours at leisure before enjoying your dinner. Spend overnight at Adaviya Resort.

08:00 After breakfast, you will start your waterfall trekking. This will be a wonderful experience through the jungle. Be ready for a swim in a fresh water natural pool. 

11:30 Arrive back to your hotel for lunch. After lunch, you will spend couple of hours at leisure before starting your safari at Gal Oya National Park. 

14:00 Proceed with your first adventure Safari in the Gal Oya National Park by Jeep. The Park is rich in flora and fauna which is a sanctuary to 32 species of terrestrial mammals. The highest populations are common Langur, endemic Toque Macaque, Leopard, sloth bear, Elephant, Wild Boar, three species of deer and Water Buffalo. Our more intrepid guests can couple the drive with a safari on foot. Hike through the park with our expert naturalists and see wildlife up close while exploring hidden corners of the park.

18:30 Arrive back to your hotel and spend couple of hours at leisure before enjoying your dinner. Spend overnight at Adaviya Resort 

05:00 Wake up early and have your breakfast before starting the morning safari by Boat.

06:00 Leave with your guide to do an exciting safari in the National park by boat. Enjoy the only experience in Sri Lanka that allows you to spot wildlife from the water. It’s a unique way to immerse yourself in the animals’ habitats. With a little luck you could spot elephants swimming between islands or bathing at the lake’s edge. A 2-3-hour safari by boat, and a scenic 40-minute drive from the lodge to the lake is perfect to explore the national park and surrounding villages.

11:30 Arrive back to your Lodge and proceed back to your next destination. We will drop you at your next destination (Please refer the inclusions section)
