We begin our journey from our office and head to Sword Valley, where the hot air balloons take off. Sword Valley offers an epic landscape with a variety of trails for all skill levels. As we ride, we'll encounter rock-carved churches, ancient cave dwellings, and historic pigeon houses that provide a glimpse into the region's fascinating history.
Next, we’ll take an easy loop through Rose Valley, then continue to Çavuşin, an old Greek village with a monastery dating back to the 6th century AD.
Along the way, we'll pass some of Cappadocia's most iconic fairy chimneys and enjoy the breathtaking scenery of Pasabag. After exploring Pasabag, we’ll stop at Imagination Valley, known for its surreal rock formations and otherworldly moonscape—you’ll feel as if you’ve landed on another planet!
After our visit to Imagination Valley, we’ll head to a local restaurant in Ürgüp for a delicious traditional Turkish meal.
Post-lunch, we’ll continue along scenic dirt roads to the Red Valley sunset viewpoint, offering one of the most spectacular panoramas in Cappadocia. From there, we’ll ride downhill along the edge of Meskendir or Red Valley, depending on your skill level and remaining energy, before returning to Göreme.
