This tour starts in Athens and ends in Dubrovnik.  This seven-country journey takes you to the Greek capital and ancient Greek ruins at Delphi, the breathtaking Ohrid Lake, the capital of Macedonia, the city of Skopje, the winding alleyways of Tirana, and the sunset at Meteora. You can cross seven West Balkan nations off your list with this small group tour that visits their most notable attractions! Each of the locations you'll be visiting on your UNESCO world heritage tour has its own unique character and interesting history.

Arrive in Athens

Arrive in Athens Airport and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day is free day at leisure. (check in starts at 02:00PM but if you arrive earlier, you can leave your luggage to the hotel and take a walking tour around.

After breakfast we will meet you at the designated location, in order to start the morning Half Day Athens Sightseeing Tour.

This tour gives you an opportunity to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city. Our expert guides will take you to see the Panathenaic Stadium, home to the first Olympic Games of the modern era, where we will make a short stop. As we continue our trip, we will pass by the Prime Minister's residence (ex Royal Palace), guarded by the Evzones in their colorful uniform, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian's Arch, the Parliament and memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the Academy of Athens, the University, the National Library and the Constitution Square (Syntagma). One cannot take a tour of Athens without visiting the Acropolis, one of the world's most prominent sites and a symbol for democracy in the Western world! It is there that you will explore architectural masterpieces of the Golden Age of Pericles. After a hearty breakfast, we will meet you at the designated location and set out on a bus journey to Delphi, renowned for its ancient archaeological treasures. Explore the famed Temple of Apollo and other historic ruins.

Continue through Central Greece to Kalabaka, nestled beneath the dramatic rock formations of Meteora. Experience the awe of Meteora’s monasteries, perched high on cliffs, during an overnight stay in this picturesque town.

Take some time to shop for local handicrafts and savor traditional cuisine before proceeding to Tirana, the lively capital city of another Balkan country, Albania.  Upon arrival in Tirana we will do a Tirana panoramic city tour. Check in to your hotel and enjoy an overnight stay in this dynamic city.

Enjoy a flavorful breakfast in Tirana before departing for another Balkan countries Montenegro and Croatia to Dubrovnik. Meeting with your driver at your hotel and continue to the journey, visit the historic city of Kotor, guided by a local expert who will unveil the city’s secrets. Discover Kotor’s captivating highlights, including the medieval Castle of Kotor perched high on the city walls, the stunning Triphun Cathedral, the intriguing Archive Museum, and the renowned Wall of Shame, a testament to the city’s storied past.
