Itinéraire

Nos circuits aux îles Galápagos partent de Quito, l'époustouflante capitale entourée par la cordillère des Andes, et s'envolent pour l'île de Baltra, puis naviguent jusqu'à Santa Cruz, où vous partirez à la recherche des célèbres tortues géantes. Day 1

Bienvenue à Quito

Welcome to Quito and private transportation to your hotel in Quito, from Quito airport is approximately an hour drive to the city.

Day 2

AM City Tour - PM Middle Of The Word

In the morning we pick you up from your hotel. This tour covers Quito’s two most important sectors: The modern and the old colonial section, we will visit is the imposing neo-Gothic church Basilica del Voto Nacional the Basilic of Quito , Then we walk around the independence square; the heart of Quito surrounded by the Government Palace The Cathedral, the Archbishop’s Palace , and the city hall.

­ 

Our next point is the Sagrario church, we visit the interior of the Church of la Compañia de Jesus which is full covered by gold leaf and then we continue to San Francisco square in where we can admire one of the biggest monasteries in South America. Then we continue to El Panecillo, a hill located at 3000m (10000 feet), where the virgin of Quito is waiting for us. From this hill you will get one of the best views of the old and new city.

­ 

Then we will drive 45 minutes to the Northwest of the city in order to go to the Middle of the World also called “equatorial” or” equator line “, where you can pose your feet in the North and South hemisphere simultaneously, we will visit the very interesting museum (Intiñan) where you can conduct scientific experiments and know more about the history of that place. Return to your hotel for overnight. (B -L)

Day 3

AM Welcome To The Galapagos Islands - Twin Craters - PM El Chato Natural Reserve (Giant Tortoises) - Charles Darwin Station.

After breakfast, early in the morning we will take private transportation to take our Galapagos flight (~3 hour flight).

­ 

Our staff will be waiting for you at Baltra Airport, after landing we’ll take public transportation to Itabaca channel to cross the neighboring Santa Cruz Island with a quick local ferry.

­ 

We’ll star our adventure jump right in with a stop in the highlands of Santa Cruz to visit a local Giant Tortoise reserve, observe these huge, magical creatures in their natural habitat and have the opportunity to explore some nearby lava tunnels while you gain a better appreciation of the natural forces that created these islands.

­ 

Enjoy lunch at a local ranch in the highlands of Santa Cruz.

­ 

After lunch, we’ll continue to Puerto Ayora-the main town in Santa Cruz island to Visit the Charles Darwin Research Center and overnight. (B-L)

Day 4

AM Randonnée sur la plage de Tortuga Bay - PM Navigation vers l'île d'Isabela.

Visit a scenic walk to one of the largest white sand beaches in the Galapagos. -Tortuga Bay is a gorgeous beach accessible only by foot and filled with a variety of activities. A leisurely 45-minute path leads to the beach and along the way you may spot lava lizards, native birds, and massive marine iguanas.

­ 

Here you’ll have the option to swim, snorkel, kayak, surf, or you can just hang out with your friends and the local marine life.

­ 

After lunch in Puerto Ayora, take a scenic public boat ride to Isabela Island (2 hours), the largest island of the Archipelago.

­ 

Arrival at Isabela Island and check into the hotel, enjoy a stroll through the picturesque town of Puerto Villamil. You’ll be able to find the perfect spot to enjoy the sunset at arguably the most beautiful white sand beach of all the islands.

Remarks: If you have a problem with motion sickness, we recommend you to take a pill an hour before the navigation.

Day 5

AM Randonnée sur le volcan Sierra Negra PM Plongée dans les Tintoreras

Heading for one of the most impressive natural wonders on Isabela Island–Sierra Negra Volcano, strap on your hiking boots and get ready to hike on a volcano! Sierra Negra, which last erupted in 2018 is one of the most active volcanoes in the Galapagos.

­ 

Arrive at a viewpoint where you’ll get to enjoy the breathtaking view from the rim of one of the largest and most active volcanic craters in the world.

­

After lunch, we will take a short boat ride toward Islote Las Tintoreras where we will look for the famous Galapagos penguin, white tipped reef sharks, blue-footed boobies, sea turtles, and more!

Get back in the water for a snorkeling adventure where you will have the chance to swim with sea turtles, colorful fish, and manta rays, among other marine life.

Overnight: Isabela Island

Day 6

AM Étang des flamants - Centre de reproduction - PM Navigation vers l'île de Santa Cruz.

After breakfast, we will take a short visit to see the famous Galapagos Flamingos; and learn about this pictures animals.

Go ahead to the Arnaldo Tupiza breeding center, In this Breeding Center populations from South Isabela (Sierra Negra Volcano, Cerro Azul): Cazuela, Cinco Cerros, Roca Union, San Pedro, Tables and Cerro Paloma have been reproduced in captivity. In total there are 330 between juvenile and adult tortoises.

We will take a speedboat back to Santa Cruz Island (2 hours).

Day 7

AM/PM Excursion d'une journée complète à l'île de Santa Fe ou à une île similaire.

We will have a full day excursion on yacht (capacity 16 pax) to an uninhabited island for a hike where you’ll get to experience spectacular panoramic views of the island.

Get acquainted with the local wildlife as you walk with Marine Iguanas, Blue-Footed Boobies, Frigates, and more.

­ 

This excursion on board is ideal to see the marine life, here you can snorkel among a wide variety of marine life including friendly sea lions, sea turtles, and a huge variety of fish that make this a fantastic place for nature enthusiasts.

In the afternoon The Yacht will bring you back to Santa Cruz, and you’ll take included transportation back to Puerto Ayora for some free time in this wonderful little town. –  overnight for the next adventure (B-L)

  • Cancellations with less than 30 days before the clients' entrance have no refund
  • Cancellations between 30 and 60 days prior to the arrival of the clients have a 50% refund on the initial deposit
  • Cancellations with more than 60 days prior to the entry of customers have 100% refund on the total deposited

  • Cancellations with less than 10 days before the clients' entrance have no refund

LUGGAGE

One piece of luggage and one carry on piece are allowed. There will be an additional charge for any additional luggage and it will be paid directly by the passenger special for the flight to GALAPAGOS.
