Day 1

Arrivée à Hanoi

Vietnam Great Tours driver and tour guide will welcome you with the VIETNAM GREAT TOUR LOGO & your name on signboard at the airport and drive you to the hotel.


Rest of the day is free at leisure.

Day 2

8.00- 8.30: Get picked up by our friendly guide and start to explore Hanoi City


08.45: Arrive at Tran Quoc Pagoda located on Golden Fish IsLand in West Lake


It is the oldest pagoda in Ha Noi built in the 6th century.


09.30: Visit Ho Chi Minh complex, you have a chance to see the embalmed body of  Ho Chi Minh then walk around the garden to see 2 houses where he lived & worked from 1954 to 1969. Then visit One Pillar Pagoda where worships the Godess of Mercy – It is the most unique padoga in the world


Should dress modestly by covering from shoulders to knees when visiting Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, temples, pagodas…

Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays.

Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed at least 2 months (15thJune -15thAugust) for the annual maintaining but still can take picture Mausoleum and visit around that area

11.15: Visit Vietnam Ethnology Museum to learn about the culture of 54 ethnic groups living in the whole country of Vietnam


Special Note : we will visit Women Museum instead of Ethnology Museum closed on Mondays


12.45: Have lunch at our restaurant. You have an opportunity to enjoy Vietnamese cuisine


with 8 delicious dishes.


14.00 – 14.15: Continue to visit Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam, established in the 11 century


15.15: Leave for Hoa Lo Prison Museum which originally used by the French colonists in Indochina for political prisoners, and later by North Vietnam for U.S. prisoners of war during the Vietnam War. During this later period, it was known to American POWs as the “Hanoi Hilton


16.15 -16.30: Back to hotel

Day 3

Hanoi - Baie d'Halong

07.30-08.00: You will be picked up at your hotel and transferred to Ha Long.


11:30-12:00 Upon arrival at Halong International Cruise Port, you will enjoy a warm welcome by our cruise staff in the waiting lounge and complete check-in procedure.


12:00 Upon boarding Amanda Cruise, our crew welcome you with a refreshing drink and cold towel before checking into your cabin. The vessel leaves Tuan Chau Marina, taking you on an exciting journey to discover the beauty of Ha Long Bay. Along the way, you can enjoy the view of some of the most beautiful spots in Ha Long and admire the grandeur of the Bay with thousands of limestone islands while the vessel heads to Trinh Nu Cave.


Enjoy your lunch at our luxurious restaurant on board while the vessel cruises toward Trinh Nu cave.


14.00: You return to your cabin for a short rest and prepare for kayaking activities in Trinh Nu Cave area.


15.00: You will be transferred to Trinh Nu Cave by tender.


Arriving at Trinh Nu Cave area, you will take part in kayaking activities here. To get to Trinh Nu beach, you need to kayak around thousand-year-old limestone formations and then walk for 5 minutes through Trinh Nu cave. Trinh Nu beach will amaze you with its white sand, emerald water and mild pleasant weather conditions


17.30-18.00 Back on board, you will participate in Sunset party & cooking class while the vessel cruises toward the shore. You can enjoy relaxing moments while sipping a cup of traditional Vietnamese tea or coffee on the sundeck amid wonderful scenery and beautiful sunset. Ha Long Bay is calm during the day, but when the sun goes down, the Bay becomes even more tranquil and peaceful.


You will be instructed to make delicious traditional Vietnamese steamed rice rolls by our chef and then enjoy the rolls made on your own.


17.30-18.30 Happy hour – BUY 2 DRINK GET 1 FOR FREE


19.30 Gala Dinner. Enjoy your dinner on the Sundeck (if the weather is favorable)


20.30 After dinner, you will enjoy a peaceful view of the Bay at night on the deck. You can also participate in evening activities such as massage (subject to additional charge), herbal foot bath on sundeck (free of charge one herbal bag for each cabin) or enjoying music and some drinks at Sky Bar while admiring the breathtaking view of the Bay at night and squid fishing.

Day 4

Baie d'Halong - Hanoi - Vol pour Hue

06.15: Start your day with Tai Chi class on the sundeck.


06.30-07.00 Enjoy a light breakfast with coffee, tea, cake and fruit.


07.30 Exploring Sung Sot cave. This is one of the largest and most beautiful caves in Ha Long Bay. The cave has some unique rock formations which couldn’t be found anywhere else. The path to the mouth of Sung Sot Cave is under a canopy of leaves. Walking through steep stone steps, tourists may have the feeling of climbing on mountains and experience the excitement as if they are stepping to the sky.


08.30-09.30 Back on board, you can rest in your room, enjoy the herbal foot bath prepared by our crew, sunbathe on the sundeck, take pictures of HaLong Bay or shop for souvenirs on the boat.


09.30 Check-out time.


Please put your luggage outside your cabin and leave the room key at the reception desk. Our staff will transfer your luggage to the waiting area. While waiting, you can shop for some products of Amanda cruise.


10.00 Enjoy early lunch buffet at the restaurant on the 2nd floor and settle the bills if any.


11.00 Arrival at Tuan Chau Marina.


12:00 – 4:00 pm: Time for transfer from Halong to Hanoi. You will be dropped off at the airport to take flight to Hue.


Upon arrival in Hue, meet our driver and transfer to the hotel for check in.

Day 5

Morning:


Dragon boat trip to Thien Mu pagoda – The oldest pagoda in Hue city, go along the Huong River to enjoy the fresh atmosphere and peaceful beauty of Hue on the way to Thien Mu pagoda.

Imperial Citadel by car –The home of Vietnam’s last royal dynasty-the Nguyen’s Family.

Dong Ba Market to see the daily life of local people.

Then enjoy your lunh at the local restaurant. After that, you can relax your foot in herbal water after lunch.


Afternoon: visiting the Royal tombs     


Khai Dinh King’s Tomb – a blend of Western and Eastern architecture.

Minh Mang King’s Tomb, one is impressed by the majesty and symmetry of the architectural constructions.

Conical hat making village, incense stick making village. Take a rest here a few minute before come back the hotel, you can take many nice photos with two these places.

04:00–5:00 pm: Back to your hotel.

Day 6

Hue - Hoi An en bus

8h00 – 8h30 am:  Pick-up in the central hotel transfer to Hoi An.


We stop some places on the way:

–           Hai Van pass


–           Marble Mountain


Note: No guide on the way, customers will bear entrance fess if they want to visit.


14:00 Arrival Hoi An, drop off in Hoi An.

Day 7

Hoi An - Collines Ba Na - Hoi An

Today, we spend the whole day for Ba Na Hills. Pick up at the hotel, depart to Ba Na hills.


Arrive at the cable car station Suoi Mo.


Sitting in the cabin, in mid air, looking upon the endless tree lone of the forest. Experiencing the pristine ecological system of the Ba Na mountain will leave you a sense of unforeseeable discovery.


Visit the Le Jardin and Linh Ung pagoda with 27m high Buddha statue. Leave Le Jardin for Gare Debay, the second cable car station, to go to the top of Ba Na.


Visit Golden Bridge.


Buffet lunch at Ba Na Hills.


Free time for visit and play game at the Fantasy Park – Ba Na Hills – the third largest indoor amusement park in the world (only some free games depending on Ba Na policy).


Free time for conquer the Peak of Chua mountain at the height of 1,487m. Leave Peak of Chua mountain, passing the Suspension Bridge.


Return to cable car station and transfer to Hoi An.

Day 8

Vie de l'agriculture et de la pêche

08:15 – 08:45AM Away from the hustle and bustle of traffic, you will be accompanied by a guide to cycle through the green rice fields, take photos with many beautiful scenes of the countryside and go to the Cam Thanh 7 Mau coconut water village.


09:30 You can visit and enjoy the scenery of the countryside by basket boat, see the performance of fishing nets and the basket circus by artisans.


Participate in making some objects and animals with coconut leaves with local people.


Listen to historical stories and unique chants and songs of the Central region.


10:30 Continue enjoying the journey of discovery, you will visit one of the six famous traditional craft villages of Hoi An, which is Tra Que vegetable village.


11:00 Here, you will enjoy É water, a kind of water cooked by people from herbs grown in the garden which is very good for health. You will learn more about the ancient history and methods of growing organic vegetables and how to grow of the vegetables, you will be trained with hoeing, planting, watering and harvesting plan.


 Returning to the local house, you will get the herbal foot bath and enjoy fresh specialties:


–           Spring rolls


–           Papaya salad


–           Banh xeo (people will perform juggling pancakes and you will join) in clay pot.


–           Morning glory with garlic.

Hoi An - Vol pour Ho Chi Minh

Morning is free at leisure.

Day 10

Excursion d'une demi-journée à Ho Chi Minh - Tunnels de Cu Chi

After breakfast, you will visit Notre Dame Cathedral and Saigon Post Office, two of the best highlights of old Saigon architecture.

Walk to the nearby Reunification Palace, witness of the historic events of old Saigon and famous for its architectural characteristics.

­ 

Discover the very popular War Remnants Museum, the one that gathers a comprehensive collection of the machinery, weapons, photographs and documentation of the Vietnam wars.

In the afternoon, you will visit The famous Cu Chi Tunnel system which was created to assist the Vietnamese Revolutionists against the French in 1948. It was an underground city with living areas, kitchens, storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers etc and in certain areas, housed up to 10,000 people, who virtually lived underground for years.

After a video introduction and a guided tour through the grounds, you will have the opportunity to take part in the unique experience of guerillas living underground during the war, with a crawl through 20/30/50 meters of the tunnel system.

Day 11

Découverte du delta du Mékong

Leaving the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City and start your trip to depart for My Tho, the town lies on the left side of the Mekong River. Upon arrival, visit Vinh Trang pagoda which sated back to the late 19th century. Then boarding the sampan and cruising down the river around the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise islands.


Stop over at Unicorn Island, go walking around country lane and seeing orchards, enjoy tropical fruits, folk song music which performed by the local people. Visit the fruit plantation.


Riding a hand-rowed sampan through Thoi Son canal and treat yourself in the beauty of the countryside, visit the family business, visit honey-bee farm, enjoy honey tea and coconut candy workshop.


Have lunch at local restaurant. Break time.


In the afternoon, time for cycling around the Tan Thach village, meet the local villagers to experience the local daily life in the Mekong delta. Hammock relaxing and enjoy cool breeze for those can’t join the cycling trip.


Return to Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 12

Ho Chi Minh - Vol pour Siem Reap

Day at leisure until to transfer to the airport for flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, meet our guide/driver and transfer to the hotel.

Day 13

Découverte du complexe d'Angkor Wat

Explore Angkor’s ancient wonders with a new group of friends! The first stop is the Angkor Thom complex. Within these magnificent walls, you’ll discover the fascinating beauty of Bayon and the world-famous Ta Prohm (Tomb Raider) Temple.


Following that, satiate your hunger at one of the many local restaurants within the Angkor Complex with some delicious Cambodian cuisine! (Your own expense)


Your final two stops will be at the massive and gorgeous Angkor Wat, followed by a stunning sunset view from the top of Phnom Bakheng. The temples on this tour are among the largest in the Angkor Complex, and Phnom Bakheng has 300 persons limit at the peak, so we keep the temple count low to ensure enough time at each spectacular stop!


We’ll return to town once the sun has set (around 6:30 p.m.) and your legs have grown tire.

Day 14

Banteay Srey & Grand Temple

Explore Banteay Srei and all the surrounding beauty! Begin your day with a visit to the modest and lovely Pre Rup Temple. Beyond that, you’ll see the ornate pink-colored Banteay Srei Temple, which translates beautifully to “The Citadel of Women“


After that long trip, you’ll be hungry, so stop at one of the neighboring eateries and tuck into some classic Cambodian curries, soups, and stir-fries.


Then spend the afternoon exploring the completely unique East Mebon, Ta Som, and Preah Khan Temples, which were all erected for various reasons at different times.


Search for the details in these ancient walls.


Around 4 p.m., relax for a comfortable air-conditioned ride back to the city!

1. Deposit & Balance Payments


For all programs a deposit of 30% is required within 7 days. Final payment is due 7 days prior to customer’s arrival if you will pay by bank transfer or credit card, on arrival if you pay by cash. If your reservation is made within 15 days of departure, the entire cost of the trip is required to request a booking.


2. Cancellations

Cancellations will be charged as follows:


More than 30 days before arrival: 10% of the price

14-30 days before arrival: 30% of the price

8-13 days before arrival: 50% of the price

7 days or less before arrival: 100% of the price

The above excludes certain classes of domestic air tickets). These must be paid by Vietnam Great Tours at time of booking and are thus non-refundable.


International Airline cancellation fees apply in addition to Vietnam Great Tours cancellation conditions. Date change/name change fees apply to all airline tickets once issued.


Fees will be charged for any amendments made after a confirmed itinerary has been issued and invoiced.


3. Claims and Refunds of Unused Services


No refunds or exchanges can be made in respect of accommodation, meals, sightseeing tours, transport or any other services which are included in the tour prices but not utilized by the tour member.

For claims to be considered, they must be received in writing within 30 days of the termination of the program and be accompanied by supporting documentation.

4. Child Pricing Policy


Infants under 5 years of age at time of travel are free of charge.

Children from 5 to under 11 years of age at time of travel

– Use room with 2 adults (no occupancy of extra bed): Charged at 50% of the adult price.


– Use room with 2 adults (with extra bed): Charged at 75% of the adult price.


– Use room with 01 adult: Charged at 90% of the adult price.


Children from 11 years and over are charged adult price according to airlines and hotels.

5. Itineraries


Accommodations (hotel or vessel) and pre-arranged sightseeing are subject to change at any time due to unforeseen circumstances or circumstances beyond Asia Great Tours’ control. Every effort will be made to operate tours as planned.


6. Halong Bay booking condition


Local authorities have the right to delay or cancel the Halong Bay cruise at any time, even after the tour has departed if they feel the current or forecasted weather conditions are not suitable. The decision reinforces that client safety is the main priority of the local authorities.


Please note that Vietnam Great Tours have no control over the decision or when it is announced


7. Early Check-in


Early check-in has not been included in the tour prices. Most hotels allow check-in to take place during the mid-afternoon. Should you wish to have your room ready for immediate check-in upon arrival, Asia Great Tours can arrange this for an additional charge. Please ask for details and prices.


8. Active Elements


On adventure itineraries some active elements are incorporated into the tour. To enjoy the tour as intended a minimum level of fitness is required to participate. The level required would be equivalent to what is obtained by routine daily exercise such as golf, jogging, energetic walking, tennis, etc. Activities during the tour could include (but are not limited to) trekking, hiking, off road walking, cycling, motorbiking kayaking and navigating uneven terrain. Should you have any questions or need any clarification about a specific tour please ask for details at time of booking.


9. Liability & Insurance:


In addition and without limitation, Asia Great Tours is not responsible for any injury, loss, death, inconvenience, delay or damage to personal property in connection with the provision of any goods or services whether resulting from but not limited to acts of God or force majeure, illness, disease, acts of war, civil unrest, insurrection or revolt, animals, strikes or other labor activities, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, overbooking or downgrading of services, food poisoning, mechanical or other failure of aircraft or other means of transportation or for failure of any transportation mechanism to arrive or depart on time. Additional expenses incurred due to delays, accidents, natural disaster, political actions and unrest must be covered by the tour members.


There are certain inherent risks in adventure travel of the type involved here. These include, but are not limited to, risks of kayaking and rafting (for example dangers of rapidly moving water, rocks and other submerged objects, hypothermia, etc), hiking, trekking or climbing (for example, equipment failures, or other trail obstructions) and in all trips dangers of animals, inaccessibility to medical attention and difficulty in evacuation from remote locations in the case of a medical emergency. Passenger assumes all such risks with regard to these possibilities.


Airline schedules and local conditions may affect accommodation and itineraries. Should this occur, Vietnam Great Tours will endeavor to substitute a suitable arrangement of similar value. Participation on any tours implies full agreement to the above conditions by all parties involved.


Insurance: The Consumer is required to have full travel insurance. It is the responsibility of the Consumer to read their insurance policy before they travel and ensure that the insurance scheme provides the Consumer with the requisite level of cover.


10. Photography


During your program, Asia Great Tours reserves the right to take photographs during the operation of any program or part thereof and to use them for promotional purposes. By booking a reservation with Vietnam Great Tours, program members agree to allow their images to be used in such photographs. Program members who prefer that their images not be used are asked to identify themselves to their Tour Leader at the beginning of their program.


11. Validity


This information is valid at the time of publication but is subject to change without prior notice. However, should any changes occur, they will be posted on the website immediately. However, should the Terms and Conditions change after the deposit is paid, the Terms and Conditions under which the deposit was paid shall apply.


Participation on any Tour implies full acceptance of the above conditions by the Consumer.
