Our local representative will wait for you at the Cairo International Airport holding a welcome board with your name on it. You will be escorted to the hotel and be assisted with the check-in.

After breakfast, your driver and the tour guide will lead you to the spectacular Giza Pyramid Complex. Firstly visit the Great Pyramid of Giza, the Pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure. By the way, you can pay extra fee to visit the interior of the Great Pyramid of Giza. Then visit the Great Sphinx that combines a human face and a lion’s body, in front of the Pyramid of Khafre, and the nearby Valley Temple is another august architecture.
After lunch, go back to Tahrir Square to visit the famous Grand Egyptian Museum, exhibiting over 120,000 cultural relics of thousands of years’ old and including the famous Tutankhamun’s gold mask. The last stop is Khan El Khalili in Islamic Cairo. Having been operated for several centuries, this old bazaar is crowded with colorful Egyptian art wares, spices and jewelry, where you can indulge yourself in an exotic atmosphere.

After breakfast, your guide will transfer you to the Cairo International Airport and assist you to get onboard the onward flight to Luxor, the starting point of the following full-board Nile cruise. On arrival, your local guide will transfer you to the ship and help you with check-in.
After having lunch on board, you will be escorted to appreciate the Temple of Karnak first. Being the largest temple in Egypt, it worships three figures, Amun, the God of Sun, his wife Mut, and his son Khonsu. Then visit the Luxor Temple, one of the most spectacular ancient buildings in the world. You will definitely be surprised by its height of 260m (853ft). Lastly get back to cruise for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, you will head to a must-see in Luxor - Valley of the Kings. It is the place where many pharaohs and nobles were buried during the New Kingdom (1567BC to 1085BC) in Egyptian history. Though there are 62 tombs included, the ticket only qualifies you to visit 3 of them. In addition, your guide will escort you to visit two more tombs - KV9 and KV62, through which you will have a better understanding of Egypt’s past.
Then you will get to Deir el Bahri to visit the Temple of Hatshepsut. It worships the sole female pharaoh in Egypt. Afterwards, we will have a photo stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two 18-meter-high (59 feet) statues used to be the guardian of the Amenhotep's memorial temple.
When the visit is over, transfer you back to the cruise ship, which will set sail to Edfu.

After breakfast, your guide in Edfu will accompany you to visit the Temple of Horus, which still has beautiful roof and clear reliefs after over 2,000 years. After finishing the visit, go back and continue sailing to Kom Ombo, where your local guide will take you to visit the Kom Ombo Temple, a Ptolemaic temple special for its worship of two gods - god Sobek and god Haroeris. After going back, the Nile Cruise will proceed to Aswan.

In the morning, go ashore to discover Aswan. Firstly, your local guide will lead you to the huge High Dam sitting across the Nile. You will have a chance to walk on the grand dam and enjoy the beautiful view of the deep blue Lake Nasser formed after the construction of the dam. Afterwards, proceed to the massive Unfinished Obelisk, the world’s largest of its kind measuring 42 meters (46 yards) long and 1,168 tons. Lack of modern advanced tools, it still remains a mystery how it was cut down and moved to the current place. Then we will visit another temple built in the Ptolemaic Dynasty - the Temple of Philae, which is dedicated to goddesses Isis and Hathor. After that, return to the cruise for one more night’s stay.

The Nile cruise will perfectly end today. After breakfast, please pack your personal belongings and check out. Then, transfer you to Abu Simbel, about 3 hours’ drive away, to embark another luxury cruise ship, which will show you around the Lake Nasser. After check-in and having lunch, the cruise guide will accompany you to Abu Simbel Temple, which comprises two splendid rock-cut temples left by Pharaoh Ramesses II. Famous as a UNESCO World Heritage site, it also features the colossal statues at the gate and the wonders on the Sun Festival twice a year: the sunlight shines inside the temple and cover the faces of the giant statues. Before dusk, return to the ship for dinner and overnight stay.

Today, the ship will set sail while you have breakfast. It will firstly send you to Kasr Ibrim, a significant archeological site whose history can date back to the 8th century BC. We will not go ashore, but have a glance of it on the sundeck.
Then, continue sailing to Amada, where we will disembark to visit the Temples of Amada built in the New Kingdom for god Ra; the Temple of Derr, another rock-cut temple constructed by Ramesses II; and the Tomb of Pennut, a rock-cut tomb for the chief priest Pennut in the Twentieth Dynasty of ancient Egypt. After you coming back, the cruise ship will sail to Wadi El Seboua.

After breakfast, leave the cruise ship to visit Wadi El Seboua, which is famous for the avenues lined with the statues of sphinx. Here we will also explore the Temple of Dakka, a Ptolemaic temple dedicated to the god of wisdom - Thoth and the Temple of Meharakka featuring the spiral stairs. After the visit, your guide will escort you back to the cruise and sail to the destination of this Lake Nasser cruise - Aswan.

After breakfast, check out from the lake cruise. Then your local guide will escort you to explore the New Kalabsha, including the Kalabsha Temple, where you will learn about the cult of the Nubian god of sun - Mandulis in 30 BC; Beit El Wali, the first rock-cut temple built by Ramesses II in this area; and Kiosk of Kertassi, a Roman garden ruin featuring the papyrus columns.
When the visit in Aswan ends here, your guide will transfer you to the airport for you to take the flight back to Cairo. Upon landing, we will transfer you from the airport to the hotel. Wish you a sweet dream!

Booking Terms and Conditions
Thank you for your interest in our AgateTravel Global Tours. The following Terms and Conditions are in place to protect you and your party member, our distinguished guests, and us, AgateTravel, in booking a tour. Please read them carefully and make sure you fully understand these agreements before you confirm your booking.
Reservation and Payment
Once we receive your tour inquiry, our one-to-one professional travel consultant will work with you from the beginning of customizing itinerary to the completion of the trip. You will enjoy real personalized service and our efficient response within 24 hours.
A tour reservation will be confirmed after receiving your tour deposit, which is 20% of the tour total payment. By paying the deposit, you agree to be bound by our Terms and Conditions.
Under special circumstances, a higher amount of down payment will be required to ensure your flight or hotel reservations.
The final or full payment is required 60 days ahead of tour start date. For each payment received, we will provide you with a receipt.
Methods of payments: We mainly accept payment by Wire/Bank Transfer and Credit Card. Any handling charge associated with the payment is your responsibility. WeChat and AliPay can also be accepted if you use them.
Cancellation and Refund
We understand that cancellations happen sometimes due to unexpected situations. To alleviate your concerns, we aim to offer as the most favorable cancellation policy as we can to reduce your loss.
The reservation deposit (20% of the tour total payment) is non-refundable if you cancel the tour, and it will not be calculated into the charge of the cancellation percentage.
The following cancellation charge will be applied to the remaining tour cost:
a. More than 45 days before the arrival day: no cancellation charge from us, except for the actual losses caused by air/hotel/cruise cancellation.
b. 45 to 15 days before: 30% of the remaining tour cost.
c. 14 to 8 days before: 50% of the remaining tour cost.
d. Within 7 days or no show: 100% of the remaining tour cost.
If there are any additional cancellation fees imposed by the service providers other than AgateTravel, which may include but not be limited to local travel agency, airlines, trains, hotels, cruises, etc. You will be responsible for the part.
Your cancellation request should be sent to us via email. We will calculate the refund from the day we receive your written cancellation request and process the refund to you within 20 working days.
Alteration of the Itinerary
There is no extra service charge for any alterations made prior to the tour. However, you will be responsible for any possible additional cost caused by reservation changes.
After the tour starts, any extra expenses caused by clients’ own alterations will be added. Any unused portion is non-refundable nor exchangeable.
Private Tours
A private tour can be thoroughly customized for you and your family or friends exclusively, according to your own specific requirements and interests. We offer professional suggestions, while, the trip length, travel dates, and hotel accommodation level are decided by you, and during the trip, you will enjoy maximum flexibility within reason to discuss with your guide on daily departure time, sightseeing time and meal time. If your trip includes a cruise journey, the onshore excursions will be subject to the arrangements of the cruise company.
Passports and Visa
Please make sure your passport is valid with at least 6 months validity before the start of your tour.
You are advised to verify and defer to the visa policy of the countries you are going to visit at the nearest embassy or consulate.
Dietary Requirements
Please inform us if you have food allergies of any type.
Vegetarian, vegan or gluten free meals can be arranged. If you are a vegetarian, please confirm if you eat egg, cheese, yoghurt, and fish.
Tell us your food dislikes eg no peppers/onions/ mushrooms/coriander or no pork/chicken/fish/lamb/beef or other foods.
Additional Information
It’s highly recommended to purchase travel insurance before your trip in order to minimize any unexpected losses and damages.
Please be sure to check carefully your international and domestic air tickets you purchased so that you are fully aware of the policies of the airline companies.
When checking in at some hotels, guests are expected to provide a valid credit card authorization to guarantee any possible personal consumption (e.g. laundry) during your stay.
Responsibility
As a tour operator, we are dedicated to designing, promoting and selling tour products that cover certain travel services, including guide and driver service, land transportation, air transportation, cruise, excursions and accommodation that are reserved from different suppliers. The suppliers are just independent contractors of our tour products, neither our agents nor employees.
Although we will assist with booking air and/or cruise transportation for you, we act as your agent, not as an agent of the airline and/or cruise company. However, we promise that we are responsible for the willful or negligent acts of our partner travel agents for the land services.
We reserve the right to adjust the scheduled trains or flights we have arranged in tours, and we make sure your trip will be carried out smoothly. If unfortunately the train or flight arranged is cancelled or chartered, we will discuss with you for an alternative plan.
We take all benefits and losses of any fluctuations, lower or higher in airfares, cruise fares, hotel room rates, currency exchange, taxes, or fuel surcharges after we have received the full payment. And we reserve the right to correct promotional or pricing errors or to increase the tour price in the event of cost increases due to changes in airfares, cruise fares, hotel room rates, currency exchange, taxes, or fuel surcharges before we receive your reservation deposit.
To help customers have a better understanding on levels of the hotel accommodation arranged in our tour itineraries, we display stars to some hotels depending on their accommodation facilities, services and average review scores on platforms. Please be aware that the actual star ranking might be different from that of local regulations, independent third parties or accommodation providers themselves.
We are not responsible for acts of terrorism, political unrest, war, natural hazards, flights and cruises delay or cancellation. But we will try the best to help our clients.
We are not responsible for any unauthorized extra services that the guests book directly with the local tour supplier, guide or driver beyond our confirmed itinerary. Guests will take full responsibility for any loss on shopping, extra sightseeing or activity etc., while for some disputes, we can help to mediate.
