Tatopani - "eau chaude" - est depuis longtemps une halte favorite pour les trekkeurs fatigués. Le village de Tatopani doit son nom aux sources d'eau chaude situées en contrebas du village et près de la nouvelle route. Il y a deux piscines en pierre sur les rives de la rivière.
L'itinéraire de onze jours, soigneusement conçu, permet d'admirer le panorama montagneux depuis Poon Hill, point de vue sur le spectaculaire panorama himalayen qui s'étend du Dhaulagiri à l'Annapurna en passant par le Machhapuchhre ;
Vous pourrez également vous détendre dans les sources d'eau chaude de Tatopani, puis vous immerger dans les activités de la jungle du parc national de Chitwan.
Tatopani est accessible depuis Beni et Pokhara en jeep, mais nous prenons l'itinéraire Pokhara - Tatopani - Beni et nous nous rendons à Chitwan sur le chemin du retour à Katmandou depuis Beni.
Le parc national de Chitwan possède des forêts de Sal qui couvrent 70 % de la zone. On y trouve environ 600 espèces de plantes et 450 espèces d'oiseaux.
Le Népal abrite également le seul nombre significatif de rhinocéros à une corne et d'autres espèces menacées comme le tigre du Bengale, les dauphins du Gange et les crocodiles gavials.

Acclimatation KATHMANDU
After breakfast we depart the hotel for a full-day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu, the “city of glory.” We visit Durbar (Palace) Square, the epicenter of religious and cultural life, an area filled with old temples and historical significance with old glorious Newari architecture. Some of the sights include Kal Bhairav, Hanuman Dhoka, Taleju Temple, Kasthamandap and Kumari Ghar; home to the Living Goddess. Afterwards we visit Swoyambhunath Stupa, said to be one of the oldest Buddhist stupas in the world, which is majestically set high on a hill overlooking Kathmandu Valley. We proceed towards Pashupatinath Temple, a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. This massive temple complex sits alongside the banks of the holy Bagmati River. Only Hindus are allowed to enter the courtyard of the temple, whereas tourists can see the temple from the eastern side of the Bagmati River. Later we visit Boudhanath, a Buddhist Stupa said to be one of the largest in the world. This massive structure stands tall with four pairs of eyes each facing the four cardinal directions, watching for righteous behavior of mankind and for human prosperity. After morning breakfast in the hotel, we take a 25 minutes flight from Kathmandu Airport to Pokhara. In Pokhara you have the free day to explore this beautiful city on your own. Meals: Breakfast
Route vers NAYAPUL (1070m/3511ft) ; Trekking vers TIKHEDHUNGA (1540m/5053ft)
After breakfast we drive 41km/25 miles to Nayapul for the start of our trek. A steep trail from Nayapul directs us down to a bridge over a small stream to get to Birethanti, a large and prosperous village. From Birethanti we take the left branch of the trail on the west side of the bridge at the ACAP Checkpost where we need to show ACAP permit and TIMS Card. Following the trail through main streets of Birethanti, winding through bamboo forests and past a large waterfall and swimming hole we reach Sudami beyond a pasture used by caravans. We climb steadily up the side of the valley to reach Hille and about 15 minutes above Hille is the Tikhedhunga. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Trekking jusqu'à GHOREPANI (2750m/9023ft)
This is a 4-6 hours trek which starts crossing the Tikhedhunga Khola on a suspension bridge, then drops and crosses the Bhurungdi Khola on a large bridge at 1520m. The trail climbs very steeply on a stone staircase that is said to have more than 3300 steps which continue to the large Magar village of Ulleri (2080m) and climbing gently through the pastures and cultivated fields the trail makes its way to deep forests to reach a hamlet of Banthanti. Crossing the magnificent oak and rhododendron forests the trail passes through two sparkling clear streams, a small ridge and another stream before making final climb to another Magar village of Nangathanti (2460m). About an hour past this village we reach Ghorepani where we can see eight different species of Nepal’s national flower rhododendron in the hillsides below Ghorepani.Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Trekking jusqu'à TATOPANI (1190m/3904ft)
Early in the morning we begin the trek for hiking to Poon Hill ( 3210m). From Poon Hill we see the mountain panorama that stretches from Dhaulagiri I (8167m) and Tukuche (6920m) to Nilgiri (6940m), Annapurna South, Annapurna I (8091m), Hiunchuli (6441m) and Tarke Kang (7193m). It takes an hour to climb from here to Poon Hill, offering one of the best Himalayan viewpoints in Nepal from where spectacular Himalayan ranges with amazing sunrise view can be seen very closely. After observing the wonderful Himalayas we return to Ghorepani. After breakfast, we continue our journey to Tatopani. The trail makes a descend steeply to Chitre at 2420m. As the trail drops down through the large and prosperous Magar village of Sikha, the hills are extensively terraced. From Shikha the trail descends gently to Ghara at 1780m. A further steep descent of 500m takes us to Ghar Khola where the trail crosses the river on a suspension bridge. We then make another climb up above the Kaligandaki River before crossing the river. As we turn north, it takes us to the Tatopani. Tato means ‘hot’ and pani is ‘water’, a name earned courtesy of the hot springs by the river. Tatopani is one of the popular shorter trek spot out of Pokhara. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Trekking jusqu'à Beni ; route jusqu'à CHITWAN
Early morning after breakfast we start trek to Beni from where we will be picked up by a private car and we drive all the way to Chitwan National Park for immersing ourselves in the beauty of nature. Chitwan national Park, the world heritage-listed site. It is famous as one of the premier wildlife-viewing national parks in Asia and we will have an excellent chance of spotting one-horned rhinos, deer, monkeys and 450 species of birds. The reserve protects over 932 sq km of Sal forests, water marshes and rippling elephant grassland and, with the snowcapped Himalaya in the distance, its no wonder this place is very popular. JUNGLE SAFARI
For jungle safari, four wheel jeep is easy to go deep into the park, viewing some of the rare species of flora and fauna. We can also go on foot in to the park escorted by our experience guide who will interpret us the concealed secrets of the jungle. Elephant safari is popular in Sauraha jungle safari. Elephants are accessible in almost all resort and lodge in Sauraha
CANOEING/BOATING
Another popular activity in the park is the boat/canoe trip down the Rapti and the Narayani Rivers. This is one of the most serene ways to explore the area as float downstream with the river’s flow.
BIRD WATCHING
Chitwan National Park is home for about 500 species of residential and migratory birds. During Jungle safari and canoe trip, we have a great opportunity to see many species of birds including water fowl, Brahminy ducks, pintails, bar-headed geese, cormorants, woodpeckers, hornbills, peacocks, peahens, floricans, red-headed trogons and many others.

Terms and Condition
1. HOW TO BOOK:
Your contract will be with Serene Himalaya Treks and expedition. To book any of our trips, please send the completed booking form along with the copy of your passport and 20% of the total amount as a non refundable booking deposit per person per trip.
2. PAYMENT:
The balance of the trip price is payable on your arrival in Nepal/Tibet/Bhutan/India. If final payment is not received 2 days after your arrival, cancellation conditions will apply as per the clause below. Final trip documentation will be released upon full trip payment.
3. TRIP AMENDMENTS/TRANSFERS:
AMENDMENT: If you wish to make amendments to your trip arrangements, you must notify SERENE HIMALAYA TREKS AND EXPEDITION in writing. Each amendment to your trip arrangements will incur a $30 administration fee and you will be liable for any increase in airfares or operational expenses occasioned by the amendment.
TRANSFER: If you wish to transfer from one tour to another, you must notify SERENE HIMALAYA TREKS AND EXPEDITION in writing. Once SERENE HIMALAYA TREKS AND EXPEDITION receives your notice the transfer will take effect and the following transfer charges will apply:
If your notice is received more than 60 days prior to your original departure date, a $100 transfer fee will apply. In addition, any increase in airfares or operational services will be payable by you: or
If your notice is received within 60 days prior to your original departure date, charges will be as per cancellation clause.
It may not be possible to make any transfers of the bookings within 10 days of departure. Fees for the late changes will vary from a minimum of USD 50 and above per booking, if the changes can be made.
4. CANCELLATIONS:
If you wish to cancel your tour, you must notify Serene Himalaya Treks and Expedition
in writing. Once Serene Himalaya Treks and Expedition
receives your notice, cancellation will take effect subject to the following:
If cancellation takes place more than 60 days prior to your departure date, your full deposit will be forfeited.
If cancellation takes place between 60 and 7 days prior to your departure date, 50% of the tour price will be forfeited.
If cancellation takes place less than 7 days prior to your departure date, 100% of the tour price will be forfeited.
No refunds are made if you voluntarily leave a trip for any reason after the trip starts and refunds will be at the discretion of SERENE HIMALAYA TREKS AND EXPEDITION if you are involuntarily forced to leave a trip for any reason. No refunds will be made for accommodation, transport, sightseeing, meals or any services not used
5. CANCELLATION DUE TO TRIP BOOKING NUMBERS:
Serene Himalaya Treks and Expedition
reserves the right to cancel any trip before it is guaranteed to run. A trip is guaranteed to run once it has two fully paid travelers, unless minimum number stated otherwise. In this case you are entitled to take an alternative trip of the same value without charge or you will be given a full refund of the trip price paid by you. You will not be entitled to claim any additional amounts or seek any compensation for any injury, loss, expenses or damage or for any loss of time or inconvenience which may result from such cancellation. A trip is guaranteed to run once it has two fully paid travelers, unless minimum number stated otherwise.
6. ROUTE CHANGES, POSTPONEMENT, CANCELLATION OR DELAY:
SERENE HIMALAYA TREKS AND EXPEDITION reserves the right to change the route, postpone, cancel or delay the trip due to reasons beyond its control such as natural disasters, flight cancellations, strikes, wars, riots, sickness, quarantine, government intervention, weather conditions etc. In this case SERENE HIMALAYA TREKS AND EXPEDITION will refund the trip price only.
If cancellation takes place more than 60 days prior to your departure date, your full deposit will be forfeited.
If cancellation takes place between 60 and 7 days prior to your departure date, 50% of the tour price will be forfeited.
If cancellation takes place less than 7 days prior to your departure date, 100% of the tour price will be forfeited.
7. INSURANCE:
It is a condition of booking a trip with SERENE HIMALAYA TREKS AND EXPEDITION. Your insurance must include cover for; medical expenses, injury, death, loss of baggage and personal items and cancellation and curtailment, cost of repatriation and evacuation via whatever means necessary including by helicopter/air ambulance. If, in the event of an emergency medical rescue or evacuation from a trip of you the client, either by foot, helicopter or otherwise the responsibility for the payment of such costs will lie with the client. Any subsequent costs incurred for expenses such as hotels, food, transport etc shall be borne by the client. You must ensure that your insurance covers all of the activities you expect to participate in your trip. You must provide evidence to SERENE HIMALAYA TREKS AND EXPEDITION upon your arrival. If you cannot provide the evidence of insurance you will be required to take out a suitable policy at that time. If you are not insured for any reason, you will not be allowed to continue with your trip and will not be entitled to any refund for services not provided.
8. PASSPORTS, VISAS AND IMMIGRATION REQUIREMENTS:
Your specific passport and visa requirements, and other immigration requirements are your responsibility and you should confirm these with the relevant Embassies and/or Consulates. Please ensure your passport is valid for 6 months beyond the duration of the trip. We do not accept any responsibility if you cannot travel because you have not complied with any passport, visa or immigration requirements. In some cases, full and correct passport information is required when a booking is submitted to us in order that we can obtain necessary tickets, permits and visas on your behalf. If you do not supply the appropriate and correct information when you make your booking, we will not be able to make the necessary bookings on your behalf and cannot be held responsible.
9. RESPONSIBILITY:
Your booking is accepted on the understanding that you realise and accept the risks and hazards potentially involved in adventure holidays and that you are mentally and physically capable of undertaking your chosen trip. You must tell us if you have an existing medical condition or disability that might affect your holiday or other group members enjoyment of it, before you book your holiday. If, in our reasonable opinion, your chosen holiday is not suitable for your medical condition or disability we reserve the right to refuse your booking. We reserve the right to cancel the contract if medical problems are discovered and, in this eventuality, we will give a full refund but no compensation. You are responsible for bringing with you the proper clothing and equipment, which we advise you about in our trip information.
10. HEALTH & PHYSICAL FITNESS:
Trips take place in remote areas where there is little or no access to normal medical services or hospital facilities for serious problems. Evacuation, where necessary, can be prolonged, difficult and expensive. Medical and evacuation expenses will be your responsibility. SERENE HIMALAYA TREKS AND EXPEDITION reserves the right in its absolute discretion to refuse a participant the right to participate in a tour on medical or fitness grounds.
11. TRIP LEADER:
SERENE HIMALAYA TREKS AND EXPEDITION nominated trip leaders take their responsibilities seriously and if for any reason a nominated tour leader believes, in his or her absolute discretion, that you should not participate in the tour, before your departure, he/she may exclude you from the tour. In this event, you will be offered the option of taking another tour considered suitable for you or a full refund. If for any reason during a tour the nominated tour leader considers you should not participate further due to you committing an illegal act, or in the opinion of the nominated tour leader, your behaviour is causing or is likely to cause danger, distress or annoyance to others, or your fitness or health is inadequate, he or she may direct you not to continue and you must follow the nominated trip leader's instructions. In this case you will not be entitled to any refund.
12. JURISDICTION:
No employee, representative or agent of SERENE HIMALAYA TREKS AND EXPEDITION other than Company Head or Directors to vary these conditions. This agreement is governed by the laws of the Nepal Government.
13. IF YOU HAVE A COMPLAINT:
If you have a problem during your holiday, you must inform your trip leader who will endeavour to put things right.
14. PROMOTIONAL IMAGES:
Any likeness or image of you secured or taken on any of our trips may be used by the company without charge in all media (whether now existing or in the invented) for bona fide promotional materials of any kind, such as brochures, website slides, video shows and the internet.
