Trek de la Cité perdue et Carthagène 8 jours

Early in the morning you will take a local flight to Santa Marta (the Colombian Caribbean Site), upon arrival you will be transfer to the hotel in down town located in the heart of the city.

Then you will have a free afternoon to explore the city and its wide beautiful beach on your own pace or just relax and enjoy the sunset from the malecon in front of the hotel.

Local flight to Santa Marta is NOT included , it has an additional cost of USD 110 (Local Payment)

This will be a medium scale hiking day (good training for the Lost City) Tayrona Park is located at 45 minutes from Santa Marta by car . So once we arrive you will be informed our guide about the all plan and the park itself.

The program includes a 2 hours hike to Cabo San Juan (6 kms), we also visit reef, arenillas , la piscina and San Juan . this could be a hard walk but very nice !!!!

After arrival you will have time to take pictures and enjoy the beach on your own , if you want you can take lunch (extra) in a local restaurant for like 10 USD.

For the return if you are too tired, you can always get the easy way back by horse for like usd 15 each way or just get the last effort to hike back to the starting point.

Il est temps de se préparer pour l'une des randonnées les plus incroyables et les plus surprenantes de toute l'Amérique du Sud, un endroit caché au milieu de la chaîne de montagnes de la Sierra Nevada.

Il s'agit d'une randonnée difficile et excitante, où vous visiterez des zones reculées entourées de forêts primaires et de communautés locales.

Ce jour-là, nous vous conduirons vers le village d'El Mamey où nous servirons le déjeuner et prendrons de l'énergie pour commencer la première randonnée jusqu'au campement d'Alfredo. A l'arrivée, vous prendrez votre lit (ce type de campement dans cette région est très basique, divisé en plusieurs lits superposés avec des moustiquaires dans la même grande pièce. Ce ne sera pas un hôtel normal pendant la randonnée vers la Cité Perdue, alors préparez-vous à vivre cette expérience unique).

Nuitée: Camp Alfredo (il n'y a pas de supplément pour cette partie du voyage)

Wake-up is at 4:30 a.m. to pack and have breakfast before starting the day's hike. This will be the longest and most challenging trekking day, divided into two parts. First, you’ll hike approximately 7 km (4 miles) to Wiwa Camp, where you'll rest and have lunch.

Afterward, continue the hike uphill to the highest point of the day—it's tough, but you can do it! From there, the journey continues to El Paraíso Camp, covering another 10 km (6 miles). In total, you’ll walk around 14.7 km (about 8 hours), ending at the camp closest to the Lost City.

During the trek, you'll visit the indigenous Mutanyi community, where you can interact with locals and take photos. You’ll also get to enjoy the refreshing waters of the Buritaca River.

Dinner is served at 6:00 p.m. Accommodations for the night are basic, with beds or hammocks provided, each with a mosquito net. After such a full day, you’ll be more than ready for rest.

Overnight: El Paraiso Camp (THERE IS NOT UPGRADES FOR THIS PART OF THE TOUR)

5:00 am starting with breakfast, but you won’t have to pack right away because on this day we will take you visit the Lost City which is very close from the Camp site, so you only need the hiking gear, camera and more energy to climb over 1200 steps that are guarding this Archeological Complex!

You will be one of the first to visit the place, where you can enjoy and admire the sacred place and enchanted by the Indian and their ancestors for more than 700 years. You will have time to take the best pictures, usually in the morning the weather is very good and sunny, perfect for this propose.

Will take you on a guided tour around many sites at the complex and finally we will return back to the Camp for lunch, packing, shower and start our way back to a Wiwa Camp for the night.

OVERNIGHT: Wiwa Camp  (THERE IS NOT UPGRADES FOR THIS PART OF THE TOUR)

MEALS: Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner 

Nous nous levons tôt pour entamer notre retour vers le village d'El Mamey (15 Kms. ou 10 miles), où nous servirons le déjeuner et nous vous ramènerons à Santa Marta pour la nuit. Cette journée est une excellente combinaison entre le basique et le confort, je pense que vous en aurez besoin et que vous le mériterez !

Il s'agit d'un trajet fantastique depuis Santa Marta le long de l'autoroute côtière colombienne, en admirant la mer des Caraïbes en permanence. En cours de route, nous nous arrêterons à Barranquilla pour une collation, puis nous continuerons vers la ville de Carthagène.

A l'arrivée, nous commencerons la visite de Cartagena, où vous explorerez avec notre guide expert les points forts de la ville tels que le Castillo de San Felipe, le quartier de Getsemani, la zone commerciale et le centre ville, qui existe toujours depuis le XVIe siècle.

Enfin, nous arriverons à notre hôtel pour profiter du reste de l'après-midi en admirant le coucher du soleil.

C'est le dernier jour, vous pouvez en profiter pour prendre votre vol de retour, depuis Cartagena, à moins que vous ne préfériez prolonger votre circuit avec nous ou simplement prendre votre vol de retour depuis Bogota. Nous serons heureux de vous aider à tout moment. LE TRANSFERT N'EST PAS INCLUS.
