After breakfast, your safari guide will pick you up from your accommodation. Today's destination is Tarangire National Park, about a two-and-a-half-hour drive on well-maintained roads. The park, named after the Tarangire River, is vital as the main water source for wildlife during the dry season. Here, you'll encounter elephant families, often gathering by the river. Keep an eye out for giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests, along with predators like lions and leopards. Tarangire boasts a diverse bird population, with more breeding species than anywhere else. Don't miss the majestic Baobab trees, some over a thousand years old! Lunch will be at a picnic site within the park before heading to your luxury lodge in Mto wa Mbu after the game drive.
As the day draws to a close, we'll head back to our accommodations at Fig Tree Lodge
