Day 1

Jour 1 : Kittilä - Ylläs

Individual journey to Kittilä. You can already admire the fantastic winter landscape during the transfer to the hotel. 7 nights in the Hotel Ylläsrinne Deluxe (upper middle class), newly opened at the end of 2024. (Dinner).

Day 2

Jour 2 : Safari en motoneige

After a short transfer from the hotel, you set off on a snowmobile tour through the wonderful taiga region. After an introduction to handling the "rag moped", you will experience a very special way of getting around. Two people share a snowmobile, taking turns during the ride. Duration approx. 2 hours/approx. 15 km (breakfast, dinner).

Day 3

Jour 3 : Safari en husky

A visit to a husky farm is on the program today. You will get to know the eager-to-walk dogs and your guide (musher) will explain how to drive a dog sled. Two people each share a dog sled and take turns driving through the snow-covered landscape. Duration approx. 2.5 hours/approx. 10 km (breakfast, dinner).

Day 4

Jour 4 : Randonnée en raquettes

Today you will conquer the deep snow of Lapland on snowshoes. Lake Ylläsjärvi offers good conditions for this. Venture out onto the meter-thick frozen swamps and bogs and enjoy this fantastic winter activity. Keep an eye out for tracks of wild animals. In between, you can fortify yourself with cookies and drinks. Duration approx. 2.5 hours (breakfast, dinner).

Day 5

Jour 5 : Journée libre

The day is at your leisure. Take a trip to the Lainio Snowvillage, for example, which is created from snow and ice every year (optional). (Breakfast, dinner).

Day 6

Jour 6 : Safari aurores boréales

Use the day for other winter activities or relax in your hotel before a special highlight awaits you in the evening. Under expert guidance, you will set off to see the Northern Lights. A minibus will take you to various hotspots around Lake Yllässjärvi and your guide will give you helpful tips on photographing this natural spectacle. A truly unforgettable experience! Duration approx. 4 hours (breakfast, dinner).

Day 7

Jour 7 : Promenade en traîneau à rennes

Today you will visit a reindeer farm. Observe the beautiful animals in their natural environment. You will then glide through the vastness of the Arctic forest on silent runners in a reindeer sleigh. Enjoy the special atmosphere during the ride and warm yourself afterwards with a coffee by the campfire in the Lapp tent (Lavvuu). Duration approx. 2.5 hours (breakfast, dinner).

Day 8

8e jour : Ylläs - Kittilä

Transfer to the airport and individual journey home. (Breakfast). Accommodation information. Hotel Ylläsrinne Deluxe and Hotel Ylläsrinne: Approx. 35 km from Kittilä International Airport, close to Pallas National Park, approx. 3 km from Ylläs town center. Hotel Ylläsrinne Deluxe opened in December 2024 and is a masterpiece of modern design and comfort.The newly renovated Hotel Ylläsrinne has a bar, fitness room and sauna. The hotel restaurant serves regional specialties with fantastic views of the fells and forest.
