The adventure begins with a pick-up from your hotel at 8:00 a.m. We will travel through the Sacred Valley of the Incas, enjoying stunning views along the way, on a 1.5-hour drive to the community of Socma.
From Socma, we’ll begin our trek toward the Perolniyoc Waterfall, located at 3,460 meters (11,351 feet) above sea level. This breathtaking cascade is surrounded by lush vegetation and offers the perfect spot to connect with nature and enjoy the peaceful Andean environment. You’ll have time to relax, take photos, and marvel at the beauty of this hidden gem.
After spending time at the waterfall, we’ll continue our hike upward to the Racaypata Inca Site, situated at 3,550 meters (11,646 feet). This archaeological site, constructed with a combination of stone and mud, showcases the ingenuity of the Inca civilization. Our guide will explain the historical significance and purpose of the site, offering fascinating insights into its role in the region.
Once we’ve explored Racaypata, we’ll descend back to Socma, where our vehicle will be waiting to take us back to Cusco.
