Full day tour to Corcovado National Park  - This tour normally leave approx. 6:30 a.m. for the 30 minute boat ride to San Pedrillo Ranger Station in the 108,000 acre Corcovado National Park. After checking in at the Ranger Station, the guide will make a selection from several different hiking trails of an area suitable for the group and their hiking ability. A 3-hour hike is accomplished in the morning to enjoy the diversity of the park with eight different habitats. This is one of the wildest and least traveled areas in Costa Rica.

Hikers will see rich and varied vegetation. There are approximately 500 species of trees in the park such as: the giant mahogany reaching over 80 feet high, strangler fig trees, and the unusual garlic tree. A great variety of birds are seen - there are over 360 types of birds and the park protects the largest population of scarlet macaws in the country. Commonly seen are: toucans, green parrots, hawks, kites, and a large variety of hummingbirds. During the boat ride, the hikers may see three of the four kinds of monkeys living in Costa Rica. They are Howler monkeys, white-faced monkeys and spider monkeys. Also many types of small mammals are seen such as quatamundies, aguoutis, paca, and sloths. A giant hollow tree is an interesting home to a large number of fruit bats.

bats. After a delicious picnic lunch, tourists have a choice of roaming the wild beach areas on their own or take the 30 min. hike to the beautiful San Pedrillo waterfall. One of the highlights of the trip is enjoying a cooling swim in the waterfall pool. Then it will be time to return to the resort for a good cup of hot Costa Rican coffee.

Sky Trek is an exciting zip line circuit located in the magical forests of Monteverde. Your tour will start in an outdoor gondola from the ground to the highest point of the mountain, where you will be left in an observation area to admire the fantastic views of the surrounding forests, the Arenal Volcano on a horizon, the Gulf of Nicoya in the other one. From this point, you will begin to travel a unique zip line circuit that extends through the canyons, going from one mountain to another, and between the treetops. It really is an exciting zip-line adventure through the mountains. In our Sky Trek in Monteverde, you will take the tram up the mountain and then return to the base in our exciting zip lines, which makes it a perfect adventure activity with no walking segments. Get off and jump to the next cable. You will mount 7 cables that reach 100 m (328 feet) in height and 750 m (2460 feet) in length where you will be surprised by its impressive heights, speeds reaching 70 km / h (43.5 mph), views and because you can admire the mountains surrounding like nowhere else.

Sky Walk offers a more peaceful introduction to explore the Monteverde Cloud Forest on a 2.5 km (1.5mi) circuit that meanders through different levels of the wonderfully diverse ecosystem. Sky Walk uses these trails and a series of suspension bridges for a personal experience with the flora and fauna of the forest canopy. You will walk deeply into these magical tropical forests to admire nature from a different perspective. Crossing suspension bridges with full views of the forest canopy, and from the forest floor on well-maintained trails, a naturalist guide will point out the intriguing animal and plant life. Trails includes some uneven surfaces and several ascents and descents.
