Day 1

Aéroport international Mohammed V de Casablanca ou hôtel - Ville de Casablanca - Rabat

After you got picked up in your Riad hotel at 9 am in the Morning if is from the airport Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport depiding on your arrival time we leave the hotel  and take the Highway in direction Casablanca. city we start Exploring the Casablanca is a modern city and home of industries and finance business as well as art galleries and fashion designers. Visit the spectacular Mosque of Hassan II situated directly at the ocean. A must see for every visitor of Casablanca! Afterwards we continue to Rabat, capital of Morocco, where we visit the magnificent mausoleum of Mohammed V and Hassan II and enjoy the view of the Tour Hassan and its gardens. Enjoy your dinner in the medina.Overnight in a Riad or hotel in Rabat

Day 2

Découvrir - Rabat - Laarech - Assilha - Tanger

Today, we have to start the day early, as we have a lot of things to see during the day After Breakfast in your hotel we will start Exploring the Rabat city  the capital of Morocco, where we visit the magniDicent mausoleum of Mohammed V and  Hassan II and enjoy the view of the Tour Hassan and its gardens to the old

town of Rabat and the neighbouring city Salé across the river. Visit the Kasbah Oudaya, the Medina of Rabat. Explore the small streets and look at the colorful Dishing boats along the river side.

Afterwards, we continue to Assilah, where we will stop for lunch. Assilah with the blue-and-white medina at the ocean is famous for its street art and murals. Still a quite unknown jewel!Last part of today after w Explore the Assilah, city we will have about 30 km to Tangier city the door of Africa  and to europ 

we continue our trip to  Tangier , where you'll have your dinner in the medina. Overnight in a Riad or hotel in Tangier . 

Day 3

Full Day City Tour of Tangier

After breakfast in your Riad we'll meet the local city guide at 9:30 am for your walking tour in Tangier Medina we'll have time to visit the fantastic Hercules caves before and Kasbah.Museum about the historical role played by Tangier in linking Africa and Europe due to its strategic geographical location.the Place du 9 Avril 1947 is named after the momentous speech of independence of King Mohamed V.Constructed by Moise Nahon from an important bankers family

Petit Socco was once one of the greatest souks of Morocco, home to many artists, businessmen, diplomats and bankers. Located around the square are cafes, hotels and casinos.

A complex of castles on top of the hill overlooking the city built by Sultan Moulay Ismail. The gardens are part of his 17th century palace called Dar el Makhzen.We'll continue our drive along the Mediterranean Ocean for about 2 h until we reach Tetouan, where we'll stop for lunch. Before the city's foundation in the late 13th century, small fortifications existed here with the name Tittawin. You can have a short stroll around the city centre before we continue in direction to the Chefchaouen, the "blue city" in the Rif mountains, is famous for its photogenique Medina with the houses in all shades of blue. Day 4

Découvrez Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknès - Fès


After breakfast in your Riad we head in direction of the Roman Ruins of Volubilis. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is the largest of its kind in North Africa and very well preserved. It lies in a strategic position about 33 km north of Meknès and is famous for its mosaics. The best time for a visit is in springtime, when the wild flowers are in full bloom among the old stones. The roman city is over 2'000 years old and was destroyed in 1755 by an earthquake. You can explore this fascinating site by your own or with a local guide (not included). There is also a museum on site.After the visit of Volubilis we continue about 30 min to Meknes, which is famous for its luxurious palaces and beautiful mosques as well as one of the most important souks of Morocco. Enjoy a guided tour here together with a local city guide. Meknès, once capital of Morocco is a historic city full of life. The souks are spacious and ideal to explore. See the beautiful gate of Bab el-Mansour at the Place el Hedim, maybe the most beautiful of all the gates of the imperial cities. Visit the mausoleum of Mulay Ismail and his corn attics and stables that are called Heri es-Souani, which once accommodated up to 12,000 horses.

After the city tour in Meknes, we continue our trip to Fes, where we'll stay for the next 2 days.

Day 5

Découvrez la ville de Fès avec un guide local

Today we'll spend the whole day exploring the impressive city of Fez with its huge Medina «Fes el-Bali» together with a local guide. Outside the medina lies the Royal Palace with its large plaza lined with palm trees.Bab Boujloud is one of the gates which leads into the Medina. Here, we'll start our walking tour together with the city guide.Visit the Nejjarine Museum of Wooden Arts and Crafts and discover traditional tools, carpets, furniture and musical instruments in a beautifully restaurated caravanserai.After lunchbreak in one of the hunderts of restaurants in the medina, we continue our tour to the famous tanneries, where the leather is processed still the same as hunderts of years ago. You can observe the workers from a lookout and they will be glad to explain you the different workings steps if you are willing to bargain for a bag or new belt afterwards. But be aware of the bad smelling of the furs and coloring goods!

Last but not least we will drive up a hill to the cementary where we'll enjoy the panoramic view over the white sea of houses of the Medina.Overnight in a Riad in the Medina of Fes


Day 6

Fès - Ifrane - Midelt - Erfoud - Désert du Sahara

We start our journey in the morning and head for the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop for a coffee in Ifrane, also known as «Switzerland of Morocco» with its chalet like houses.

From here we are heading south through several typical villages and you will have the opportunity to spot nomad families living in their tents along the road.

After lunch in Midelt we continue our drive and enjoy panoramic views crossing the Tizi N' Talghoumt pass.

In Erfoud, you can enjoy a fantastic view of the valley of the river Ziz lined with thousands of date palms.

Now we’re almost at the dunes! After arriving in Merzouga, we will enjoy dinner in the desert lodge where we'll spend the night.Overnight in a Riad in the Village of Merzouga or Hassilabied

Day 7

Explorez la région de l'Erg Chebbi 4x4 Visitez les nomades

Today will be devoted entirely to enjoy the desert. We'll cross the dunes with our 4x4, visit nomads for tea in their tents, explore an oasis and ride through the dunes of Erg Chebbi.

Visit the famous village of Khamlia and enjoy its folk music.

After arriving back in Merzouga in the late afternoon, you will experience a one hour camel ride to reach the desert camp while the sun sinks down behind the dunes. Enjoy your evening dining in a berber tent, look for shooting stars at the camp fire and sleep in a nomad tent!Overnight in a private tent in a desert camp in the Dunes of Erg Chebbi, Merzouga

Day 8

Erg Chebbi - Gorges de Todra - Gorges du Dadès

Wake up by the first strays of light to watch the sunrise over the Sahara before you enjoy your typical breakfast. We return on the camel's back or 4x4 to the village of Merzouga.

In Rissani we will have the opportunity to visit the local market with the «donkey parking» and have a look at some fossils outside the city.After lunch break, we will follow the road along the river to reach the gorges of Todra, where you can take a short but spectacular hike between the up to 300 m high rock walls.

Before arriving at our Riad for the night in the Dades valley, we head to Boumalne Dades where you can make some nice pictures of the special rock formations which look like monkey hands.

Day 9

Gorges du Dadès - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech

Today we will see a lot of different landscapes on our way to Marrakech. Admire the views of the Valley of a thousand Kasbahs (Skoura Valley) and the famous Valley of Roses along the road. Visit the historic Amridil Kasbah, one of the biggest and most important Kasbahs in Southern Morocco.

In the desert city Ouarzazate, also known as «Hollywood of Morocco», we start our visit at the old kasbah of Ouarzazate named Taourirt where you have some time to explore the narrow pedestrian streets on your own and visit the palace with its countless rooms which seem like a labyrinth. Afterwards, you can have a look at the movie museum just on the other side of the road. Continue to the Atlas Corporation film studios, where you can discover the diverse sets and listen to the anecdotes of the multiple movies and actors. Several famous movies like Gladiator, Babel, Prince of Persia, and recently The Physician have been shot in those studios.A little outside of Ouarzazate lies Aït Ben Haddou, the fortified clay city with its numerous ksars and kasbahs, where several famous movies such as Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven and Prince of Persia have been shot. This photogenic city is also listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Continue through the breathtaking landscape to Telouet. This fortress was occupied by Thami el Glaoui before he was expelled by independence efforts. One section has unfortunately disintegrated into red sand, but you can still visit the beautiful rooms with mosaic tiles and wood carvings.

After the visit, we pass the High Atlas mountains over the Tizi n’Tichka pass with scenic views along the road and many opportunities to take photos. Evening arrival in Marrakech.

Day 10

Today we’ll spend the hole day in the beautiful red city of Marrakech together with a guide.

In the morning, you’ll visit the famous Palais de Bahia, with its fantastic courtyards and mosaic walls built for Bou Ahmed.Stroll through the Jewish Quarter and notice the difference in architecture in this district.

Visit the hidden Saadian tombs built during the reign of Sultan Ahmed El Mansour in 1557.

You’ll arrive at the Koutoubia mosque and the Djemaa el Fna-square, where you can drink some fresh pressed orange juice while observing the bustle of the snake charmers, henna tatoo artists and water sellers.After lunch in a restaurant overlooking Jemaa el Fna, you’ll visit the beautiful Majorelle Garden. This botanical garden is a quiet oasis and the former home of the famous french designer Yves Saint Laurent. Nowadays, the bright blue villa contains a Berber Museum Overnight in a Riad in the Medina of Marrakech with breakfast. Our services end with the overnight in Marrakech.

Day 11

1. Publishing 

a. For all products offered online, Explore Morocco Travel SARL reserves the right to change online prices without prior notice. Prices for booked/confirmed activities and tour will not be changed in that case.

b. Prices displayed on our website are in Euros.

c. All prices stated on our websites are accurate, errors and omissions excepted.

2. Product purchase

a. All activities are considered confirmed if the price has been paid in full

b.  A prepayment of 20% of the total price has to be made upon reservation to confirm the booking. Explore Morocco Travel does not hold bookings for guided tours and accommodations on option, unless a prepayment has been done.

3. Cancellation and amendment policy

a. All cancellations must be confirmed in writing to Explore Morocco Travel 

b.  Cancellation fees

Cancellation 15 days or more before departure: 0% fees.

Cancellation 14 to 8 days before departure: 25% cancellation fee.

Cancellation 7 to 3 days before departure: 50% cancellation fee.

Cancellation 2 days or less prior to the departure day: 100% cancellation fees

c. Special cancellation fees for group bookings (10 persons and more) on request upon booking.

d. Multiple day tours including Hotel/Riad bookings might include non refundable rates. Explore Morocco Travel will advise you about this special cancellation policies upon booking.

e. Amendments 

You can amend your booking until 24 hours before your trip starts, without extra fee, if we have availability. If less than 24-hour notice, there will be a 50% modification fee.

4. General Conditions

a. For online purchase, buyers must provide all details relevant to their activity: exact dates, number of people in their party, personal phone number (if possible with Whatsapp), name and address of booked accommodation (for pick up services). Explore Morocco Travel cannot in any way be held liable if the buyer didn’t provide all required information. No refund will be proceed if an activity doesn’t take place because some important information of the buyer was missing.

b. Explore Morocco Travel is showing availabilities online in real-time which allow customers to get instant confirmation. Explore Morocco Travel is putting all efforts to honour those confirmed bookings, but is keeping all rights to ament every booking within 48 hours after the payment if one availability appeared wrong. In that case, buyer will have to select another session/day (if available), other tourguide language or receive a full refund.

c. By purchasing an activity or any other products, the buyer acknowledges that all participants are in good physical condition to participate in the excursion they have purchased. By registering for an activity, the participant declares himself or herself to be fit enough to participate in the chosen activity. It is the responsibility of the participant to assess his own physical condition and to judge whether the chosen activity is appropriate for him or her. If the participant still believes himself or herself fit for the activity and supervisory staff subsequently consider for safety reason that the participant can not take part in the event or activity, no refund will be made. Consumption of drugs, before or during the activity, is totally forbidden.

d. Each tour description states what is included in and excluded from the paid price. Please refer to the description of each tour to see what it includes. All that is not listed therein is considered an extra, for which the buyer will pay themselves. Flight tickets are nevery included in our tour prices.

e. Excursions are not systematically cancelled in case of bad weather, but may however be postponed if Explore Morocco Travel deems the safety of participants to be possibly compromised. Should the buyer not be able to postpone to a later excursion, the buyer is entitled to a full refund.

5. Responsibility

a. Explore Morocco Travel and its suppliers ask all its customers to ensure they hold personal travel insurance (medical expenses, repatriation expenses, theft and loss of baggage etc.) for the extent of their stay in Morocco. Explore Morocco Travel holds a civil liability policy covering its professional responsibilities.

b. Anyone participating in the activities of Explore Morocco Travel is aware of the risks thereof and takes full responsibility for his or her acts. Explore Morocco Travel cannot be held responsible in case of accidents.

c. Anyone going for an activity with Explore Morocco Travel agrees to comply with all safety instructions by the guides designated for the excursions before and during the trip.

d. Each client participating in the activities of Explore Morocco Travel is responsible for their personal belongings. Explore Morocco Travel cannot be held responsible for the loss or theft of those.

6. Disputes & Disagreements

a. Marrakech Court of Justice has sole competence to rule on any dispute or disagreement.

SPECIAL ACTIVITIES

1. QUAD & BUGGY EXCURSIONS

a. Participants are required to complete and sign a liability waiver prior to departure. All participants are aware of risks linked to motor sports and agree that Explore Morocco Travel is acting in the best interest of all the participants. Therefore, participants agree in the fact that Explore Morocco Travel declines any responsibility in case of accident.

b. Minors aged 16 and over are eligible to drive a quad/buggy provided a parent (or guardian) has signed the contract for them in advance. An ID may be requested prior to departure.

c. Minors under 16 must participate in trips as passengers only.

d. Only civil liability is included in our tour. Medical insurance are the responsibility of the participants, as well as all physical damage to machinery in case of accident with no third party involved.

2. CAMEL OR HORSE RIDE

a. Participants acknowledge the risks associated with the practice of activities performed with animals.

b. Only parents can decide whether a child is able to ride alone on an animal. Neither Explore Morocco Travel nor any of their providers may be held responsible for any event involving an unexpected animal reaction.

c. Animals may cause allergies. Explore Morocco Travel cannot be held responsible for consequences due to allergies. No refunds will be made due to allergies caused by animals. 

3. TREKKING TOURS

a. Programs trips and tours offered are not contractual. For participants’ safety, routes and programs may be slightly modified at any stage.

b. The customer must read the product data sheet for the exact content of the relevant Explore Morocco Travel activity. Anything that is not listed there is not included.

c. Explore Morocco Travel is not responsible for weather conditions. All tours and activities will take place as booked if there isn’t any security reason not to do so. If the tourguide decides to cancel a trekking tour before the start, there will be a full refund. If the tour has to be shortened due to bad weather conditions, there will not be any refund for the remaining days.
