Itinéraire

Le trek du camp de base de l'Annapurna en 5 jours est l'un des itinéraires les plus courts pour explorer la partie la plus populaire de la région de l'Annapurna. Il n'est pas étonnant que le trek du camp de base de l'Annapurna soit la destination de trekking la plus prisée au Népal.


La raison principale en est l'immense opportunité de marquer la base du Mont Annapurna (8 091 m). L'autre raison est son niveau modéré. Oui, même les trekkeurs ayant une endurance générale peuvent opter pour ce trek.

Day 1

Jour 1 : Départ en voiture pour Matkyu Danda, puis trekking jusqu'à Chhomrong.

Votre trek de 5 jours au camp de base de l'Annapurna commence aujourd'hui. Après le petit-déjeuner, vous prendrez un court trajet en jeep jusqu'à Matkyu Danda. En quelques heures, vous atteindrez cette nouvelle station de jeep, Matkyu Danda. Votre randonnée commence officiellement.


Le sentier est d'abord en descente jusqu'à ce que vous rencontriez un grand pont suspendu. Il s'agit d'un pont récemment construit qui vous mène à une série d'escaliers. Après deux heures de marche, vous atteindrez Jhinu Danda (1750 m). Jhinu Danda est également célèbre pour ses sources d'eau chaude apaisantes et rafraîchissantes.


Vous commencez maintenant à monter le long de la Modi Khola. Vous pouvez vous attendre à des paysages spectaculaires de collines verdoyantes et d'habitations effrayantes. En continuant l'ascension, vous atteindrez Chhomrong. Il s'agit d'un magnifique village Gurung divisé en Upper et Lower Chhomrong. Après Chhomrong, votre prochaine destination est l'hôtel Himalaya. Si vous restez à Upper Chhomrong, vous atteindrez Lower Chhomrong en une demi-heure. Il y a moins de maisons de thé à cet endroit. Vous traversez à nouveau un pont suspendu au-dessus de la Modi Khola.


Après le pont, vous empruntez à nouveau le sentier en montée jusqu'à Lower Sinuwa. Sinuwa est le village qui vous emmène à travers la forêt profonde de chênes, de pins et de bambous. Vous pouvez également apercevoir le Mont Machhapuchhre (6993m). Ensuite, vous descendez vers Upper Sinuwa. Après environ une heure de marche, vous arrivez à Bamboo (2145m).


Le sentier devient alors plus beau avec des chutes d'eau et des sources en cascade. Une fois de plus, le paysage de montagne vous entoure. Vous atteignez ensuite Dovan (2505m) où il y a quelques hôtels. Depuis Dovan, l'Himalaya est à environ deux heures. Ce jour-là, vous franchissez 3000 mètres en chemin. Il faut donc être prudent et marcher à un rythme normal. N'oubliez pas de suivre les conseils pour éviter le mal de l'altitude.

Day 3

Jour 3 : Trek au camp de base de l'Annapurna.

Max. Altitude maximale : Camp de base de l'Annapurna (4130m), Camp de base du Machhapuchhre (3700m)


Distance de marche : 13-14 KM

En quittant l'Himalaya, votre ascension vous mènera au point ultime du trek : le camp de base de l'Annapurna. Le trek passe par des endroits pittoresques comme Deurali (3200m), le camp de base de Machhapuchhre (3700m). Le camp de base de Machhapuchhre est un endroit idéal pour admirer la vue majestueuse du mont Machhapuchhre (queue de poisson).


Le sentier jusqu'au MBC est en montée, mais ensuite il y a des plaines au milieu de forêts profondes et de cascades. La chute d'eau qui se trouve sur le chemin est magnifique sous différents angles. Vous traversez également plusieurs zones à risque d'avalanche. Les sentiers deviennent de plus en plus rafraîchissants et élégants avec des fleurs colorées comme les orchidées, les rhododendrons, etc. L'atmosphère devient fraîche et les montagnes commencent à apparaître clairement et plus proches.


Après une heure et demie de marche depuis le MBC, vous atteindrez le camp de base de l'Annapurna. C'est le point d'observation qui offre un paysage montagneux spectaculaire de la chaîne de l'Annapurna. Cet endroit est l'occasion d'observer la diversité des paysages et la vie traditionnelle typique de l'Himlayan.

Day 4

Jour 4 : Trekking jusqu'à Bamboo.

Max. Altitude : 2340m, Bambou


Distance de marche : 13.5 KM


Durée de la randonnée : 7-8 heures

Aujourd'hui, vous vous réveillerez tôt le matin. Après tout, vous ne pouvez pas manquer le lever de soleil doré depuis le point d'observation. La lumière du soleil depuis les hauts sommets est très agréable et séduisante. Toute la végétation environnante s'illumine de neige et de brume scintillantes. Vous pourrez également admirer les différents glaciers de l'Annapurna.


Le trek ABC de 5 jours vous offre les panoramas les plus proches à 360° de la queue de poisson, des Annapurna I et III, du Singu Chuli (6501m), du Tharpu Chuli (5662m), du Gangapurna Himal (7455m), du Hiuchuli (6441m), de l'Annapurna Sud (7219m), du Tent Peak (5663m), etc. C'est une expérience extraordinaire d'être entouré par les montagnes. Vous oublierez tout et profiterez de la merveilleuse nature. Vous marcherez autour du camp de base et découvrirez des paysages à couper le souffle autour d'immenses tours de neige.


Après ces moments merveilleux au camp de base, vous commencerez à descendre. En suivant l'architecture agréable, vous reviendrez sur vos pas jusqu'à Deurali. Une fois de plus, vous rencontrerez de belles cascades, des ruisseaux qui coulent et des paysages étonnants. Vous atteindrez Dovan et enfin Bamboo pour la nuit. Le sentier est plein de descentes aujourd'hui. Gardez un œil sur les singes "langur" à face noire !

Day 5

Jour 5 : Trekking jusqu'à Matkyu puis route vers Pokhara.

Max. Altitude : Matkyu Danda (1500m), Pokhara (910m)


Distance de marche : 12.7 KM


Durée de la randonnée : 3-4 heures

En revenant sur vos pas, vous descendrez à Matkyu Danda. Le trek en montée recommence avec les escaliers. Après une heure de montée, vous atteindrez Sinuwa. En avançant et en traversant le grand pont suspendu, vous atteindrez Chhomrong. Puis vient Jhinu Danda. Vous ne pouvez pas manquer le bain de source chaude rafraîchissant. Il vous procurera une expérience relaxante.


Ensuite, vous emprunterez un sentier en montée jusqu'à Matkyu. Votre courte et étonnante randonnée s'achève. De là, vous vous rendrez en voiture à Pokhara (la ville des lacs). Comme vous vous trouvez dans un centre touristique réputé, vous ne pouvez pas manquer les sites étonnants tels que la Pagode de la Paix. Mahendra Cave, Davis Falls et Lakeside. Vous pouvez également vous rendre dans un bon pub ou restaurant. Il n'y a rien de mieux que Pokhara pour célébrer l'accomplissement de votre voyage.

Booking with us:

After going through our norms and conditions you ask for information and queries if in doubt, all trip booking for Nepal destinations should be made by two months earlier minimum of two weeks times, so that we arrange necessary details well in advance to avoid disappointment like hotel-domestic airlines booking and as well chartering bus-coach or booking tourist bus tickets ahead before your arrival.

25% down payment which you can transfer to Bank Account in Kathmandu / Nepal rest of the trip cost to be made on arrival in Kathmandu before trek / tour departures, where applicable foreign currencies accepted like US $ – UK Pounds, and Euro or Chinese / Indian.

For Tibet and Bhutan at least minimum of one month booking ahead to arrange all logistic and entry permits for neighboring countries with 50% in advance.


Booking in Last Hour:

We accept your last hour booking in the eve of trip departure with 100% payment (07 days prior to tour starting date only for Nepal Trips, excluding trips Tibet, Bhutan and India not accepted as this requires at least 3 weeks in advance prior to trip departure for Nepal neighboring countries.

Trips Cancellation Policy:

On booking, some might be compelled to cancel the trip with various reasons from personal / domestic, medical, health, job or with some other situations, in this case where cancellation fees will be applied of 25% as cancellation charge, where you will be notified us or to our overseas agents with minimum of month in advance before trip departure.

60 % cancellation fee applied on 2 weeks to a month notice.

No refund on last minute or no show situation.

If clients has to return or break from the tour, trekking / or any other trips earlier than proposed itinerary days due to medical / physical or personal reasons clients has to borne his / her own expenses on route of trekking and at hotel in Kathmandu or in any other last main cities before you departure for home.

There are no refunds, if the company has to reroute to other areas due to unavoidable circumstances and from bad weather.

If such conditions arise company holds the right and providing you a hassle free adventure holidays with enjoyable time.

Clients’ Responsibility:

A tour / trekking guide representing our company holds all authority during treks and tours. If one behave badly or commit any unlawful act, where you will be compelled to leave the tour / treks. No refund will be made in such condition.

NEPAL VISA & PASSPORT CONDITION:

All clients are requested to have a valid passport with at least six months validity from the return date. Nepal visas can be obtained from the Nepal Consulate or Embassy in your country or upon arrival in Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport.  The costs of Nepalese visas are sole / own responsibility of clients.

CANCELLATION & BOOKING CHANGES FOR BHUTAN:

01: Required minimum of 30 days for cancellation notice prior to trip departure and it must be in written form, such notice will be implied from the day the note is received. Cancellation shall be valid after the company approval on receiving the documentation. The Trip shall then be termed as cancelled and then 50% of the trip amount would be deducted from the advance paid as cancellation charge.

02: There will be no refunds if a passenger cancels the trip or leaves a trip for any reason whatsoever, either voluntarily, involuntarily or if you commit any unlawful act after the trip has commenced. We will make no refunds for any meals, accommodation or services not used.

03: On the eve of trip departure if you are prevented in joining the chosen tour, unfortunately there is no refund regarding this, transfer or postponing options are available as the Bhutanese Government has strict Tourism act and policies.

BHUTAN VISAS & PASSPORT CONDITIONS:

All clients requested to have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity from return date. For Bhutan visas you need to send your passport details to Destination Holidays for visa applications at least 45 days prior to the fix departure date.

TIBET CANCELLATION & BOOKING CHANGES:

01: As per the company rules, there will be no refund to clients with less than 20 days notice given to us, on or before Trip departure and if a clients leaves the trip earlier for due to personal or medical reason whatsoever, either voluntarily or involuntarily and if committed any unlawful act after the trip has commenced. Then the company is compelled to make no refunds for any meals, accommodation or services not used.

02: If client require any changes from the chosen original tour, the person who have booked the tour must submit a written document with any changes required. Then we will make every effort after the notification, but the changes cannot be guaranteed.

03: If you are compelled to cancel from travelling on the tour by genuine reason or circumstances, for example (without restriction) due to death, injury or any serious illness of the person, close relative or friends, redundancy or jury service, in this case one may postpone or transfer your booking to another close person, as long or provided they meet all the requirements relating to that trip. You are requested to provide proof of why you were unable to travel at the time and need to change your booking.

NEPAL / TIBET VISAS & PASSPORT CONDITION:

All clients are requested to have a valid passport with at least six months validity from the return date. Nepal visas can be obtained from the Nepal Consulate or Embassy in your country or upon arrival in Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport.  The costs of Nepalese visas are sole responsibility of clients.

As you are unable to obtain visas to Tibet you need to send your passport details to Destination Holidays for visa applications to this country, we require this information at least three weeks prior to departure.

HEALTH & FITNESS:

All Treks and Tours requires where one should be in sound health and good level of fitness before signing trip with us, client requires should with your Doctor or Physician regarding your health and fitness before the trip departures to Himalayan destinations.

It’s solely client’s responsibility to inform Eco Holidays Nepal of any pre-existing medical condition or disability that might reasonably be expected to increase the risk of your required medical attention, which may affect your capability to travel on the trips booked with us.

CHILDREN:

An authorized guardian by the parents must accompany all travelers under the age of sixteen. If you have any queries regarding age and suitability, please contact us for further information.

PUBLICITY:

Request to allow Eco Holidays Nepal to use pictures, snaps or images of you taken during the trip without being informed and as well without compensation, for company promotion and advertising purpose only through whatever medium takes place.

CHANGES TO YOUR HOLIDAY AND PRICING:

Travelling with us requires a degree of flexibility, positive attitude good humor and understanding where mode of transport, accommodation and itineraries may change, even after the tour has commenced, without prior notice due to local circumstances such as flight delay, cancellation or postponement, road block due to riots and political crises.

WEATHER:

Himalayan regions or other unpredictable circumstances such as land-slides, road blockage, flood, snow, political unrest or delay arrival etc. Eco Holidays Nepal is unable to refund any payment under the above circumstances due to prior supplier arrangements. If possible we will always endeavor to provide you an alternative or substitute trip of same category.

Eco Holidays Nepal does not accept any responsibility for loss on employment, delays or compensation resulting from situations beyond our control.

Our holidays, tour / trek packages, are based on twin share accommodation. Thus, single room supplement charge will be imposed to clients who do not have another tour participant to share accommodation with.

We reserve the right to revise pricing rates posted in our marketing material, under any circumstances, or on the pressure of various external factors that are further than our control, for instance changes in exchange rate, government action etc.

PRIVACY:

In order to gather information from you to make a booking through Eco Holidays Nepal  Destination, may ask many questions to obtain necessary permits etc. No private or personal information that you supply to us when making a booking will be disclosed for any other purposes.

However, the entire program is conducted strictly under the rules and regulation of theirs’ own policies.

Eco Holidays Nepal shall not be responsible for any changes in the itinerary due to unavoidable circumstance such as govt. restriction, Land slide, road blockage, flood, snow political unrest, cancellation of flight, delay, sickness or accident, Any extra cost incurring there of shall be borne by the clients on the spots.

Weather is another factor that directly impact on the journey. Hence, patience and positive in mind, enthusiasm and proper preparation before hand is must in taking part around third world countries.

The best thing is to take as it comes and think positively, then you will enjoy the holiday with us.

Travel Insurance:

You must have complete travel insurance package against medical, travel for natural calamity, helicopter evacuation, personal accident, trip cancellation etc. This is strongly suggested to all our respected clients.

Tour Amendment:

To make alterations of any trek / tour itinerary, prior notice is requested.

You are advised to stay in touch with us thus, but occasionally, you may be obliged to do so en route under certain circumstance for instance bad weather etc.

Your personal belongings:

On any account, we are not responsible for any loss or damage of your baggage / luggage or property even when it is shouldered by Eco Holiday Nepal  porters, yaks-ponies or vehicles.

That means your personal possessions; luggage might be at your risk at the times, and however our trip escorts and guides will provide necessary safety precautions that this does not arise while with us.

Papers & Documents:

All necessary documents should be presented in sequence for example to issue visa, obtain necessary permits etc. We are not accountable in case of any trip formality not completed in time before the trip departure on the absence of essential papers and documents.

Risk & Responsibility:

Assuring your complete safety and satisfaction which is our main responsibility and concern, we therefore carry out our service sincerely & earnestly ensuring a hassle free holiday.

Nevertheless, unless stated otherwise, trip may change under uncertain and inherent circumstances such as land-slides, road block, floods, heavy snow, political unrest, cancellation of flight, delay arrival, sickness or accidents etc. Any extra cost incurring there is your personal responsibility and should be borne on the spot.

07: On Camping services includes twin sharing tents (unless booked for single supplement) with separate kitchen unit backed by cook, kitchen staffs, guides and porters (in some area we use pack animals Yaks or Mules).

08: Private comfortable cars, coach or bus (as per the size of the group) on long driving journeys as per the trip selected.

09: Group Orientation program on do’s and don’ts regarding your trip.

10: International Air Tickets Re-Confirmation.

11: Our guide will have basic First Aid and Medical Kits.

05: Emergency Evacuation if necessary by any means of transportation including Helicopter

and personal medical kit as prescribed by your doctors.

Trek / Tour Grades information:

Leisure tours or walking trips:

For any physically fit of all ages with sound health, these trips involves short walking days of few hours and more of tour with scenic drives at places of interest.  The whole trip goes from 4-5 to 8 days on trek or scenic tour.

On rafting for a day or two days.

Moderate Trips:

For any physically fit of all ages that have done normal walk and with sound health. These trips involves few ups and down and the length of treks will be from 4-5 hours of walk every day with plenty of break in between. The whole trip goes from 2-5 to 8 days.

Adventurous Trips:

For physically fit person of all ages with sound health who have done moderate to vigorous walk or activity before or at present. These kind of treks involves long ups and down and the length of treks will be from 6-7 hours of walk every day with break in between. The whole trip goes from 10 to 20 days in the high altitude. On Rafting it involves river expedition for 7 -10 days.
