Day 1

Arrivée à Katmandou et transfert à l'hôtel.

Our office representative will be waiting for you for a warm welcome holding a company plate that will help you to easily recognize him. Your trip to Nepal and every travel necessity is our responsibility now.


Firstly, we will transfer to your respective hotel, help you check-in. You can freshen up and take a rest or rather take a short walk around the Thamel area to have a quick insight into evening life over there and experience being in a different world. Our guide will give you some briefing about our trek and routes. Overnight at hotel inclusive breakfast.

Day 2

Visite de Katmandou. Visite de Swayambhunath, de la place Durbar de Katmandou, du temple de Pashupatinath et du stupa de Bouddhantha.

On this day you will do sightseeing tour around world heritage sites. Kathmandu valley includes several UNESCO world heritage sites, including Swyambhunath (Known as monkey temple), Pashupatinath temple (famous and largest Hindu temple), Boudhanath stupa (one of the largest Buddhist stupa in Asia). Furthermore, you can visit historical sites such as Kathmandu Patan and Bhaktapur Durbar Squares. At the evening time, you will be meeting with the guide and will check all the necessary things for the trek.

Day 3

Route de Katmandou à Koto (2 600 m)

Today, we will take you on a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Besishar by local bus or Hiace and then take a private jeep drive from Besishar to Koto. Traverse the diverse landscapes of Nepal, witnessing picturesque terraced fields, charming villages, and the meandering Marsyangdi River. The journey offers a glimpse into the country's rich cultural tapestry before reaching Koto, a gateway to the remote and culturally significant Nar Phu Valley.

Day 4

Trek de Koto à Meta (3560 m)

Embark on an exhilarating trek from Koto to Meta, unveiling the rugged beauty of the Annapurna region in Nepal. The trail winds through enchanting pine forests, charming traditional villages, and along the scenic banks of the Marsyangdi River. As you ascend, the landscape transforms, revealing majestic mountain vistas and unique geological formations. The journey culminates in Meta, a picturesque village in the Nar Phu Valley, where you can immerse yourself in the local culture, surrounded by awe-inspiring Himalayan peaks. Day 5

Trek de Meta à Phu (4080 m)

Today we trek to Phu village, a captivating journey within the hidden confines of the Nar Phu Valley in Nepal. The trail leads you through alpine meadows, quaint villages, and across suspension bridges adorned with prayer flags, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks. As you ascend towards Phu, the landscape becomes more arid, revealing the unique beauty of this remote region. Phu, with its ancient monasteries and traditional stone houses, provides a cultural oasis amidst the rugged Himalayan terrain. This trek is a testament to the untouched allure of Nar Phu Valley, promising a memorable adventure blending natural wonders and cultural discoveries.

Day 6

Journée d'acclimatation à Phu (4080 m)

It is advisable to allocate a day for acclimatization in Phu. Utilize this time to wander through the narrow alleys of the town or embark on a hike to the Himlung Himal base camp. Phu itself is a fascinating village, and spending a day engaging with the locals as they skillfully spin yak and sheep wool, grind mustard seeds into oil paste, and carry out their daily tasks is a rewarding experience.


For those seeking an additional challenge, the trek to the Himlung Himal base camp involves navigating through a glacial valley. This 7,125 m. peak, recently opened for climbing, offers a spectacular ascent. En route, witness herds of blue sheep adeptly maneuvering the steep cliffs. The return journey typically takes about four to five hours, providing both a physical challenge and an opportunity to soak in the mesmerizing surroundings.

Day 7

Trek de Phu à Nar Phedi (3490 m)

Embark on an enchanting trek from Phu to Nar Phedi, a journey that unveils the mystical beauty of Nepal's remote regions. The trail winds through rugged landscapes, revealing breathtaking mountain vistas and pristine alpine scenery. Along the way, explore the unique culture of the Nar Phu Valley, encountering ancient monasteries and traditional villages that add to the cultural richness of the trek. As you trek from Phu to Nar Phedi, you'll experience the untouched charm of this Himalayan terrain, making it a memorable and spiritually rewarding adventure.

Day 8

Trek de Nar Phedi à Nar (4110 m)

Today a captivating journey within the remote and culturally rich Nar Phu Valley of Nepal. The trail meanders through high-altitude landscapes, where prayer flags flutter against the backdrop of majestic peaks. As you ascend, the unique traditions and ancient monasteries of the region come into view, offering a glimpse into the vibrant culture of Nar village. The trek provides a balance of natural beauty and cultural immersion, with every step revealing the untamed allure of the Himalayas. Arriving in Nar village, surrounded by snow-capped peaks, is a testament to the rewards of exploration in this pristine and lesser-known corner of the Nepalese Himalayas.

Day 9

Trek de Nar à Ngawal (3 600 m) par le col de Kang La (5 240 m).

Today we embark on a challenging yet exhilarating trek from Nar village to Ngawal, navigating through the formidable Kang La Pass standing at an impressive elevation of 5,240 meters (17,192 feet). The trail takes you through the rugged Nar Phu Valley, offering panoramic views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks. As you ascend to the Kang La Pass, the air thins, and the landscape transforms into a stark and majestic high-altitude terrain. The pass itself provides a breathtaking vantage point, with sweeping vistas of snow-clad peaks and deep valleys. The descent towards Ngawal unveils the contrasting beauty of the Annapurna region, creating an unforgettable and physically rewarding trekking experience.

Day 10

Trek de Ngawal à Pisang et route vers Besisahar (800 m)

Today, we walk on a scenic descent from Ngawal to Pisang, tracing the diverse landscapes of the Annapurna region. The trail offers striking views of Himalayan peaks and lush valleys before reaching Pisang. Conclude your trek with a picturesque drive from Pisang to Besishar, providing a seamless transition from the tranquility of the mountains to the vibrant landscapes of lower altitudes, culminating your trekking adventure with memorable vistas and a smooth journey back to civilization.

Day 11

Route de Besisahar à Katmandou

Today experience a picturesque drive from Besisahar to Kathmandu, winding through scenic landscapes and lush valleys, providing a serene conclusion to your Himalayan adventure. The journey captures the essence of Nepal's diverse terrain as you head back to the bustling capital city.

Day 12

Départ du Népal

Your Nar Phu Valley journey concludes today and a representative from the Glorious Himalaya Team will drop you off at Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport at least three hours before you depart from Nepal. On your journey home you may already be thinking about another adventure into the vast Himalayan landscape.

Cancellation Charges 

Whether it is a long trek or a short trek, you need tents, hotel accommodation, cooking utensils, guide, porters, trek permits, ground transportation, and air-ticket. Glorious Himalaya books these essentials in advance, as well as pay for them. Now, what will happen if you cancel your trek prior before 30 days? In such a case, Glorious Himalaya will levy 35% as a cancellation charge.

If you cancel your trip, prior to 2-29 days, 50% is levied. A cancellation charge of 85% is levied if you cancel the trip on the departure day. A cancellation charge of 100% is levied if you discontinue the trip journey due to the personal reason.

Risk
Glorious Himalaya will not be responsible either for the loss of your personal belongings or for the damage of these belongings nor is responsible for the event that is beyond its control, such as natural disaster and strike. But it tells you to take a precaution and takes care of you throughout the trip. “Our mutual understanding and co-operation is necessary to avoid the unpleasant situation”.

Passport and Visa
All the clients of Glorious Himalaya must have passports with a validity of 6 months. Nepalese visas can be obtained from the Nepalese Consulate in your country or upon arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal. Below is the information on visa and the payment that you have to make.

US $ 25 or equivalent foreign currency for 15 Days Tourist Visa with Multiple Entry.

US $ 40 or equivalent foreign currency for 30 Days Tourist Visa with Multiple Entry.

US $ 100 or equivalent foreign currency for 100 days Tourist Visa with Multiple Entry.

Note : Glorious Himalaya Trekking Pvt. Ltd. will not operate the trip if the customer does not do 100% payment of the trip before group departure.
