Itinéraire

Le Naadam est un festival traditionnel en Mongolie. Il est également appelé localement "eriin gurvan naadam" ou "les trois jeux des hommes". Ces jeux sont la lutte mongole, les courses de chevaux et le tir à l'arc et sont organisés dans tout le pays pendant les vacances d'été. Les femmes ont commencé à participer au tir à l'arc et les filles aux courses de chevaux, mais pas à la lutte mongole.

En 2010, le Naadam a été inscrit sur la liste représentative du patrimoine culturel immatériel de l'humanité de l'UNESCO.

La principale attraction du festival du Naadam est la cérémonie d'ouverture, pour laquelle les billets sont limités. En raison de la possibilité limitée d'obtenir des billets, BT and TC Travel company réserve un circuit Naadam avant le 1er juin de chaque année. Pour ceux qui veulent échapper à la foule, nous proposons des festivals locaux de Naadam dans les villages et les provinces.

Day 1

Jour 1 : Ulaanbaatar

Ulaanbaatar. Arrival in Ulaanbaatar, capital city of Mongolia.Transfer to hotel. City tour, including visit to the Zaisan Memorial if time permits. Overnight at the 3*hotel. (D)

Day 2

Jour 2 : Oulan-Bator / Stade Naadam à Oulan-Bator

Naadam. Breakfast at the hotel. Tour the Opening Ceremony of Naadam at the Central Stadium. Enjoy sports and cultural performances, including wrestling and archery contest. In the afternoon, enjoy horse racing. Naadam’s Gala dinner with Mongolian folk music performance. Overnight at the hotel. (B,L,D-GALA DINNER)
Day 3

Jour 3 : Oulan-Bator / Khui Doloon Khudag

Naadam. After breakfast visit horse racing area.Witness of 4 & 5 years -olds horse race. Lunch. In the afternoon, visit the Bogd Khaan’s Palace museum. Overnight at the hotel. (B,L,D)
Day 4

Jour 4 : Kharkhorin

Ulaanbaatar/Karakorum. Breakfast at the hotel.Transport to Karakorum(380km).Lunch on the way. Arrive at the camp late afternoon. Refreshments. In the evening, stop by a local horse breeder’s ger and visit with his family. Horse riding session. Overnight in Ger accommodation at the tourist camp. (B,L,D)
Day 5

Jour 5 : Dunes de sable d'Elsen Tasarkhai

Karakorum/Bayangobi. Breakfast at the camp. Visit Erdene Zuu, once one of the largest monasteries in Mongolia and almost destroyed in the 1930s. Tour of the monastery grounds and several chapels with excellent examples of Buddhist iconography dating from the 16th century. Visit to the symbolic ruins of Karakorum, the 13th century capital of the Mongol Empire. Return to Karakorum base camp for lunch. Drive to Bayangobi (80km). Overnight at ger camp near Bayangobi. Day 6

Jour 6 : Parc national de Khustai

Bayangobi/Hustain Nuruu. After breakfast, drive to Hustain Nuruu (Pike Hustai) National Reserved area to have a view of Przewalski wild horses, recently re-introduced back into Mongolia(140km). Free time at leisure at the camp. Horseriding and trekking. Overnight in Hustai ger camp. (B,L,D)
Day 7

Jour 7 : Oulan-Bator

Hustain Nuruu/Ulaanbaatar. Drive back to Ulaanbaatar. Box lunch. Arrive at Ulaanbaatar afternoon. Check-in. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Ulaanbaatar. (B,L,D)
Day 8

Jour 7 : Désert de Gobi

Ulaanbaatar/Gobi Desert. Breakfast at the hotel. Transport to airport for flight to Gobi base camp. Arrive in the Gobi and transfer to the Ger camp. After settling in at the camp have lunch in the tourist camp. Excursion to Yol(Lammergier) Valley, 25 kms at the eastern edge of the Altaic Mountain range. Along the way, make a short stop at a museum dedicated to some of the wildlife in the area. Afterwards, take stroll through the valley. Photographs: White-headed eagle and domestic yaks. Overnight in Ger accommodation, authentic Mongolian dwelling. (B,L,D)
Day 9

Jour 9 : Bayanzag

Gobi Desert/Flaming Cliffs. Breakfast at the camp. A day trip to Bayan Zag, the Flaming Cliffs* (98km), for exploring the Gobi “Cemetery of Dinosaurs” and the trail of Roy Chapman Andrews. En route visit Moltsog Els-sand dunes. Picnic lunch. After excursion drive back to base camp for dinner and overnight. (B,L,D)
Day 10

Jour 10 : Désert de Gobi

Free time at leisure. Overnight in ger camp. (B,L,D)
Day 11

Jour 11 : Ulaanbaatar

Gobi Desert/Ulaanbaatar. Breakfast at the camp. Late morning flight to Ulaanbaatar. After lunch, tour the “Gobi” cashmere factory for shopping original and pure cashmere gifts and garments. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. (B,L,D)
Day 12

Jour 12 : Ulaanbaatar

End of the tour: Pick-up from the hotel and transfer to the aiprort or train station. Departure. Check-in starts 2 hours before the flight.

General Terms and Conditions

Booking:

Bookings and enquiries must be in writing


Late Bookings:

Last-minute bookings (within 30 days prior to start of tour) are subject to availability.  Bookings made 16-30 days prior to the start of the tour will be assessed at a $25 per person surcharge. Bookings made 30 or less days prior to the start of the tour will be assessed at a $50 per person surcharge.


Tour price:

All tour prices are in US dollars and are based on tariffs and rates of currency exchange in effect at the time of printing.


Payment: 

The client shall pay 30% of the total amount to confirm the trip. And 100% for the tour at least 30 days prior to the starting date of the services. The payments shall be made in US dollars or in Euros. The Parties may choose other payment methods. But the agreement should be made in written form. 


Cancellations by traveler: 

Loss of monies paid applies to all cancelled reservations.  The date of trip cancellations is the date on which the written cancellations are received by BTTC TRAVEL.  The loss of monies paid is as follows per person:

  • 45-more days prior to tour start- 10% of total package price.
  • 31-45 days prior to tour start- 30% of total package price
  • 30 days prior to tour start- 80% of total package price
  • 15-arrival day- 100% of total package price

No refunds will be made if you voluntarily leave a trip for any reason after the trip has begun.  Refunds will be at the discretion of BTTC TRAVEL if you are forced to involuntarily leave a trip for any reason.  No refunds will be made for any accommodation, transport, sightseeing, meals or services not utilized.


Cancellations by BTTC TRAVEL:

BTTC TRAVEL reserves the right to cancel any trip before it is guaranteed to run but will not cancel a tour less than 60 days prior to departure.  BTTC TRAVEL reserves the right to cancel any trip, including a guaranteed trip, at any time prior to departure due to terrorism, natural disasters, political instability or other external events which make it unviable for intrepid to operate our planned schedule.  If BTTC TRAVEL cancels a group adventure trip which is guaranteed you may choose between an alternative trip or a full refund.  The company is not responsible for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred because of your booking such as visas, vaccinations, non-refundable flights or loss of enjoyment, etc.  If an alternative trip chosen is of lower value than the originally booked, then you are entitled to a refund of the price difference.  If the alternative tour chosen is of a higher value, then you will pay a difference in price.


No Show:

In the event a client is a “no show”, no refund in full or in part will be given for services in the program not utilized.


Refunds:

After star of tour, no refund, in full or in part, will be given for services included in the program that are not utilized.

BTTC TRAVEL will not be responsible for any additional expenses incurred by the client/s because of the foregoing causes over which it has no control, such as war, civil disturbance, fire, floods, unusually severe weather, acts of government.

BTTC TRAVEL will not compensate for program changes caused by delayed air or train services, airline timetable changes or force majeure (acts of war, strikes, catastrophes, pandemic...)


Hotel accommodations:

Based on two adults sharing one twin-bedded room, double occupancy.  A customer who travels alone is required to pay a single supplement rate.  A single room is subject to availability based on prior request at an additional cost.  When the hotel listed in the brochure is not available, the similar category hotel will be substituted without prior notice.


Baggage:

Baggage is at owner’s risk throughout.  Excess baggage charge and insurance is the owner’s responsibility.  When travelling outside of Ulaanbaatar, 1 carry-on luggage per person is allowed, the excess baggage will be stored in the hotel.


Shopping:

BTTC TRAVEL does not accept any responsibility for the value, validity, quality or authenticity of any goods purchased on the tour or for any mailing, freight or shipping arrangements. Any after-sales correspondence must be between the customer and the shops.  


Local Laws:

All participants in tours operated by BTTC TRAVEL are expected to obey the laws and regulations of Mongolia and any failure to do so will relieve BTTC TRAVEL of all obligations that it may otherwise have under the contract.


Complaints:

If a client has a complaint about any of the tour arrangements, the client must bring it to the attention of the tour leader or other representative at the time so they may use their reasonable endeavors to rectify the situation. Failure to complain at the time will affect the Client’s ability to claim compensation from BTTC TRAVEL.  Should the problem remain unsolved a complaint must be made in writing to BTTC TRAVEL within 28 days of the completion of the tour.  BTTC TRAVEL will not pay any compensation if there has been no fault on the part of the company or its partners and the reason for the failure in the tour was the client’s fault, or due to the actions of someone unconnected with the tour arrangements, or if the circumstances could not have been reasonable foreseen or avoided by the company or its partners.
