Programme du circuit

Day 1

Jour 1 : Arrivée à Katmandou (1 300 M/ 4 264 FT)

Today your journey begins at the capital city of the Himalayan country: Kathmandu. You will arrive at the Tribhuvan International Airport, where you will meet the representative of Himalayan Planet Adventurers. After that, you will be taken to a hotel to relax. There will be the arrangements of a welcome dinner with traditional Nepali delicacies, dance, and music.

Day 2

Jour 2 : Route vers Besishahar (830 M/ 2 723 FT)

From today, our adventure starts into the Annapurna Mountains. We will take a local bus from Kathmandu and head towards the west for the district town of Besishahar from the Lamjung district. This city has some sober hotels where we will rest for the night. It is the entrance of the Annapurna Conservation area.

Day 3

Jour 3 : Route vers Chame (2 710 M/ 8 891 FT)

Today we will go to Chame, the district city of Manang. The rocky, rough road will gift you the charming view of the mountains all along the way. The road follows along the beautiful Marsyangdi River. Here, it becomes a tributary of the mighty Trishuli River that hops its way to the Ganges. We will pass through several villages before reaching Chame. The village offers a panoramic view of the Mountain Annapurna II. We will spend our night at a local hotel. But, it can be a bit problematic during the rainy season and landslides. But, we hope we will do our best to make you stay comfortable even in those inconveniences. 

Day 4

Jour 4 : Trek de Chame à Pisang (3 700 M/ 12 139 FT)

Today is the day on which the trekking actually starts. From Chame, we will move towards Bhartang village, passing through the apple orchards. This place is famous for its delicious apples. We will cross the Marshyangdi River. Following the road shaded with trees, we will reach the location where we will be able to see Mt. Pisang and Mt. Chulu. From here, we will take a casual one-hour walk to the village, with Tibetan-style houses and monasteries, where we will be spending our night. This place will definitely give you a hint about the rest of your journey because from here, you will be able to get a panoramic view of Annapurna Mountain. 

Day 5

Jour 5 : Trek de Pisang à Braga (3 450 M)

The journey will begin with a walk through the pine forest where you will enjoy its sweet fragrance. If you take a look at the ridge, you will be able to see the beautiful Gurung village of Manang. Manang valley offers a beautiful view of the green land. The snow-clad mountain peaks bordering the valley make it look impressive. The view of snowy peaks of Tilicho, Gangapurna, Annapurna II, and III, along with the Pisang and Chulu peaks is charming and grand. Braga is a Tibetan style village featuring a unique Buddhist monastery with Statues, Thankas, and rare religious manuscripts. We hope that today will be one of your memorable days of the journey as it is the time to enjoy the hospitality of Braga village.

Day 6

Jour 6 : Randonnée et exploration du lac de glace

This day will be perfect to start the acclimatization process as we will continue toward high elevations. Braga village is a suitable place for this. We will take a short trip to explore a unique area of Annapurna Mountain, called Ice Lakes. The total journey will take about 6-7 hours. You can leisurely roam around the city and enjoy the beauty of nature.

Day 7

Jour 7 : Acclimatation à Manang (3 500 M/ 11 482 FT)

While getting prepared for the acclimatization at Braga, we will take our time to witness the wonderful Gurung village of Manang. The village has about 500 flat-roof stone houses. There is an interesting local museum that you can visit. From Manang, you will be able to get a beautiful view of snow veiled peaks of Annapurna Mountain. We will visit the Himalayan Rescue Association and take in a movie. Manang has an amazing landscape that mesmerizes the tourists. We will spend our night at Manang.

Day 8

Jour 8 : Trek jusqu'au camp de base de Tilicho (4150 M)

We will start our day with an early breakfast in Manang. After this, we will head towards the Tilicho Base camp. The main attraction of this trek is the grand view of several mountain peaks. The trekking takes around 6-7 hours. We will pass through Khangsar village, cross the Marsyangdi River to reach the Tilicho Base Camp. There is a tea house here. This is the starting point for the climbers to climbs Mt. Tilicho. From here, you will be able to enjoy the view of snowy mountain peaks.

Day 9

Jour 9 : Trek vers Tilicho (4919 M) et retour au village de Khangsar

It is time to explore the highest lake in the world. It is said that the snow-capped mountains never look the same starting from the sunrise. The Himalayan region will bless you with beautiful, breath-taking scenery. The path is narrow and uneven, but the charming view of waterfalls, mountains, rivers will wipe away your tiredness. It takes around 9-10 hours to reach Tilicho Lake. We will return to Khansgar village for our night stay.

Day 10

Jour 10 : Trek de Khangsar à Yak Kharka (4 110 M/ 13 484 FT)

This place offers the most fantastic view of the valley and the snow-clad mountain peaks. Yak Kharja is the grazing area for the sheep, goats in summer. The green land and the soothing weather can captivate your mind. From the Khansgar village, you will be able to behold the peaks of Annapurna, Gangapurna, and Tilicho. The green land mainly consists of juniper bushes. We will rest at Yak Kharka and enjoy the warm hospitality of the local shepherds.

Day 11

Jour 11 : Trek de Yak Kharka à Throng Phedi (4 400 M/ 14 432 FT)

Today we will climb towards the Throng Phedi. The path we will be going follows the east bank of the Jorsang Khola that winds down to the mountainside. You will be able to enjoy your tea time at the shop by a wooden bridge that crosses the Jorsang. The path gradually gets narrowed down as we will move towards the slope until we reach the picturesque village of Throng Phedi. We will spend our night here at this place.

Day 12

Jour 12 : Trek de Throng Phedi à Throng La (5 416 M/ 17 765 FT) à Muktinath (3 800 M/ 12 467 FT)

On this day you will climb to that point, which is often called as the roof of the world. You will be able to witness the grand view of the Himalayas at Throng la pass before descending to the Muktinath Temple. This trek takes around 3-4 hours. The gushy wind and the stunning view of snow veiled peaks are worth enjoying. You can take photographs before going down to Kaligandaki Valley below. Our next stop will be Muktinath. The total time needed for this trek is 7-8 hours.

Day 13

Jour 13 : De Muktinath à Kagbeni (2 800 M/ 4240 FT) à Jomsom (2 700 M)

The journey starts from the Sacred Muktinath village. Many pilgrims visit this temple to worship the ever-burning blue flame. There is a beautiful cultural amalgamation that can be seen here. It's so because this place is sacred to both Hindus and Buddhists, and festivals of both the communities are celebrated with equal enthusiasm. From here you will be taken to the beautiful village of Kagbeni, before finally stopping at Jomsom. You can spend your night at a nice hotel.

Day 14

Jour 14 : Vol de retour à Pokhara

This will be a short flight, lasting only for 20 minutes. It will fly over the charming lakeside city of Pokhara. You will be able to see the Annapurna Mountains and Phewa Lake from the flight. It is always enticing to spend time beside the blue water of the lake. You can stay at an excellent accommodation at Pokhara if you want to enjoy the gorgeous landscape of the Lakeside city.

Day 15

Jour 15 : Route de Pokhara à Katmandou (1 300 M/ 4 264 FT)

Next, a luxury bus ride awaits you. We will return to the capital city. The bus will take you through the green meadows and winding roads of the beautiful Himalayan land. In the evening, there will be a farewell dinner for you and your fellow trekkers. The local cuisine will amaze you with its variety and range.

Day 16

Jour 16 : Départ

It's been a great trip, but the time to depart has come. There are so many things to explore in Nepal that you may end up falling in love with it. It will be the most satisfying moment for us if you return with the best images of the land of Himalayans in your mind. We will be waiting for you to come back and cherish your moments of another memorable trip to Nepal.

GUEST AGREEMENT AND DECLARATION

The registered office named, Himalayan Planet Adventures P. Ltd. Situated at Kathmandu, Nepal organizes the trekking and holiday packages for travelers. Registered Company Number 59196/065/066, whose registered office is in Chaksibari Street, Thamel, Kathmandu, Himalayan Planet is a member of the Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal (TAAN), Nepal mountaineering association (NMA), American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA) and Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA) a group of companies association and are sold subject to the following conditions.

HPA BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

1. You understand that your booking is confirmed only after the company receives 20% of the total amount payable per person per trip or you can pay in full amount during the trip booking. It is said to clear the advance deposit within 15 days of booking, otherwise the same is liable for being canceled automatically. Moreover, the 20% amount is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.

3. You understand that the HPA confirms itself that the client has full knowledge of the booking terms and conditions and had a full reading of the same before agreeing to.

4. You understand that the package amount is on a twin share basis. The client if wishes to might forego the facilities available in the package and upgrade the same. The client is understood to have accepted the terms and conditions and aware of the facilities available and not available within the package amount.

5. You understand that, the Himalayan Planet Adventures mentioned the harshness and other difficulties and hardships associated with the trekking or tour and that the client is soundly aware of such circumstances. Thereby accept the tour agreement.

6. You understand that the Himalayan Planet Adventures will conduct a full medical check-up prior to the expedition or trekking to have a clear idea of the medical condition of the traveler. Upon that it’s expected that the client himself would inform of any medical conditions or problems that might mar the trip. It is for the knowledge of the company and the safety of the trekker, which is of utmost importance to the company.

PRICES INCLUSION AND EXCLUSION:

1. You understand that the HPA does not cover the fare of international flight commuting to/from your hometown, besides those mentioned inside the package, if at any point the client leaves the trip at his volition and own discretion or any other illness.

2. You understand that, the Himalayan Planet Adventures will provide a brochure before the trip to the client to have a better understanding of what is included and what not within the package.

3. You understand that the personal belongings of the client have to be in his or her own custody and responsibility and the payment for the extra meals, accommodations etc. and phone bills too would be borne by the client.

ACCOMMODATION:

1. You understand that since the package offers a twin share room, up-gradation charges for a single room would be charged against the client and to be cleared by him.

2. You understand that charges for an extra night and stay outside the package tenure or terms and conditions to have to be borne by the client himself.

3. You understand that the accommodation uphill is on a first come first served basis. So the Himalayan Planet Adventures P. Ltd. Can’t promise to always provide the teahouse or grass houses available there, since there remains a dearth of such facilities most of the time, especially during trekking season. In spite of that HPA promises to provide the best teahouse to the client, available at that time.

PASSPORT AND VISA DOCUMENTATION:

1. You understand that you need to carry your own passport valid for 6 months prior to the departure dates. You will need visa entry for each country. Visa for Nepal, Bhutan will be arranged by the company even the visa for Tibet, if one wishes to travel there can be arranged by the company unless the visa for India, Bangladesh and his own. The cost of the visa is excluded from the package except stated.

DAMAGE:

1. You understand that HPA does not take responsibility for any damage whatsoever caused by the client during the tour, trek or expedition.

2. You understand that any damage to the gear, caused by the client needs to be paid back by the client himself to the HPA. The staff of the Himalayan Planets Adventures will assess the same.

RETIRING FROM THE TREK:

1. You understand that early departure from the trek will incur extra charges for hotel accommodation, transportation, administration and other extra costs for extra nights. Phone calls too are included under the extra expenses. All these are incurred by the client while returning back to Kathmandu.

2. You understand that the client is totally responsible for the extra hotel accommodation and preparation.

HELICOPTER AIRLIFT OUT:

1. In case of any emergency or mishaps, The Himalayan Planet Adventures will arrange for helicopter airlift immediately with the assistance of your insurance company, only after assessing the situation.

2. You understand that if a helicopter is required then HPA will contact the client’s next of kin as is mentioned in the agreement and then continue the evacuation.

3. You understand that medical and other emergency expenses will be incurred upon the client and his family members including the other extra charges on accommodation, phone calls, traveling and administration.

4. You understand that if a child is trapped amidst such medical emergencies, then an adult must accompany the child.

5. You must understand that the hotel accommodation after evacuation is the client’s responsibility and the payment must be done to HPA for the same.

HIRING GEAR:

1. You must understand that HPA does not provide personal gears to the trekkers for the tour, expedition or travel except the one mentioned.

2. You must understand that any damage to the hired gear will be borne by the trekker.

TRAVEL HEALTH AND INSURANCE:

1. You must understand that trekking, mountaineering and climbing the Himalayas include several hazards and risks with it. So the safety and total medical fitness are required by the trekker. In this, you must agree to face any natural hazards and be fit enough to overcome these.

2. You must understand that every trekker must have a suitable health insurance policy prior to the expedition.

3. You must understand and read in detail that the policy covers areas like emergency evacuation, cancellation of the trip due to an unforeseen situation, airlift evacuation to the nearest hospital available if a medical emergency arises, loss of personal belongings etc.

4. You must understand that the HPA will require your policy papers with details before your departure for trekking. The policy covers details like name, policy number, amount, phone numbers etc.

5. You understand that HPA can deny to, take the responsibility of emergency evacuation if the trekker fails to submit the documents before departure to trekking. In such case, the company will inform his next of kin for support and evacuation of his family member.

6. You must understand that baggage of the trekker is under self-responsibility. In no way, the HPA will be responsible for the loss or damage of baggage of the trekker. Although one might opt for baggage insurance if required.

7. You must understand being a trekker that, your duffle luggage must have a set of medications for emergency, gear, loop, rope and etc. for the travel or tour. This is subject to aircraft rules and laws.

8. You must understand that the client acknowledges the fact that they are responsible for the late arrival of themselves or the baggage or joining for the trip, tour or trekking.

CANCELLATION NOTICES AND CHARGES:

1. You must understand that the deposit of the cost of the expedition is fully non-refundable and non-transferable. It will be refunded only if the trip is canceled due to some unforeseen condition. 

2. You must effectively understand that the HPA never returns the total paid amount after the departure for the trip. That is why HPA recommends trekkers to undergo an insurance policy that covers the amount for cancellation of trip arriving due to some medical emergency.
