Itinéraire

5 jours 4 nuits . Tanzanie . Culture et tourisme


Adventure Makers Tanzania Limited effectue un trekking sur la route Marangu, qui est la route la plus facile et la plus courte pour atteindre le sommet du Kilimandjaro et qui est connue sous le nom de route "Coca Cola" ou "touristique". C'est la seule route du Kilimandjaro qui offre le confort de huttes de couchage alimentées par l'énergie solaire et de lits confortables dans chaque camp. Les huttes sont communes et chaque couchette est équipée d'un matelas en éponge et d'un oreiller. Il y a 60 lits à Mandara et Kibo Huts et 120 lits à Horombo Huts. Des salles de bains et l'eau courante sont disponibles dans les deux huttes inférieures. Des latrines de base pour hommes et femmes sont disponibles au dernier camp. Tous les groupes d'alpinistes, souvent originaires de plusieurs pays du monde, partagent les repas dans des refuges où règne une atmosphère joviale et énergique. Des boissons non alcoolisées, de l'eau en bouteille et de la bière peuvent être vendues dans les refuges. Apportez des petites coupures tanzaniennes pour acheter ces articles (les prix augmentent avec l'altitude). Cet itinéraire se fait généralement en 5 jours, mais vous pouvez le faire en 6 jours pour une meilleure acclimatation. Vous pouvez passer votre journée supplémentaire à vous reposer à Horombo ou à grimper jusqu'à un camp de base situé en dessous du sous-pic du Kibo, le Mawenzi.

Programme du circuit

Day 1

Jour 1 : Mandara Hut

Après le petit-déjeuner et un briefing de votre guide, vous quittez Arusha à 7 heures du matin, vous vous rendez à la porte de Marangu sur le versant est du Kilimandjaro, vous vous inscrivez au parc national et vous commencez la randonnée à 10h30. Dans la forêt tropicale, vous pourrez observer des eucalyptus imposants, des oiseaux et des singes colobes. À ces basses altitudes, il peut y avoir de l'humidité et de la boue, donc des guêtres et des bâtons de trekking vous seront utiles. Des shorts et des t-shirts devraient suffire, mais gardez votre imperméable et des vêtements plus chauds à portée de main. Vous vous arrêterez à mi-chemin pour déjeuner et atteindrez les huttes Mandara vers 14 ou 15 heures. Défaites vos bagages, reposez-vous et prenez un thé ou un café. Day 2

Jour 2 : Horombo Hut

Réveillez-vous avec un petit-déjeuner à 7h30 et préparez-vous pour votre prochaine randonnée. Levez le camp à 8h30, marchez pendant une heure à travers les clairières de la forêt tropicale, puis suivez un sentier ascendant à travers la lande où vous pourrez observer des lobélies géantes et des séneçons. Continuez à monter dans des landes ouvertes où de petits arbustes constituent la principale végétation. Arrêtez-vous à mi-chemin pour le déjeuner, où vous pourrez profiter d'une vue imprenable sur Mawenzi. Arrivée aux Horombo Huts vers 15 heures, d'où vous pourrez voir le sommet du Kibo. Repos, déballage et préparation du dîner. Des salles de bain avec eau courante sont disponibles. Vous pouvez commencer à ressentir les effets de l'altitude ici, et pour faciliter votre acclimatation, vous pouvez choisir de passer une journée supplémentaire à vous reposer à Horombo ou à grimper jusqu'à un camp de base en dessous du sous-cime du Kibo, le Mawenzi.

Day 3

Jour 3 : Kibo Huts

Réveillez-vous pour prendre votre petit-déjeuner comme d'habitude, mais si vous vous réveillez tôt, vous pourrez prendre de superbes photos du lever du soleil. La première partie de la randonnée de la journée grimpe à travers la lande en déclin qui se fond dans un paysage lunaire lorsque vous entrez dans la selle qui relie Mawenzi et Kibo. Lorsque vous vous arrêtez pour déjeuner, et plus tard lorsque vous traversez cette selle étonnamment grande, vous pouvez examiner l'ascension du sommet du Kibo que vous commencerez dans quelques heures. Soyez attentif à tout signe de mal de l'altitude. Il n'y a pas d'eau courante dans les refuges de Kibo.

Day 4

Jour 4 : Horombo Hut

Réveillez-vous à minuit pour un petit déjeuner léger, puis préparez-vous à l'ascension du sommet. L'objectif est de monter avant l'aube afin d'atteindre le pic Uhuru peu après le lever du soleil. Partez à 1 heure du matin, escaladez des éboulis abrupts ou éventuellement de la neige, et atteignez Gilman's Point sur le bord du cratère à 5 861 m/18 640 ft entre 5 et 7 heures du matin. Ici, la vue sur le légendaire cratère et ses calottes glaciaires s'offre à vous. Deux heures de marche supplémentaires sur le bord du cratère, près des célèbres neiges, vous mèneront au véritable sommet du Kilimandjaro, le pic Uhuru, vers 9 heures du matin. Il s'agit du point culminant de l'Afrique, et il vous faudra parcourir plus de 3 000 miles en direction de l'Himalaya pour trouver un sommet plus élevé ! Ne manquez pas de vous faire photographier au sommet pour le montrer à vos amis. Après votre séjour au sommet, redescendez aux Kibo Huts, déjeunez, reposez-vous, récupérez vos affaires et retraversez la selle jusqu'aux Horombo Huts. Dîner et sommeil bien mérité !

Day 5

Jour 5 : Marangu

Réveillez-vous, comme d'habitude, faites vos bagages et descendez à travers la lande jusqu'aux Mandara Huts. Déjeunez sur place, puis poursuivez votre descente triomphale à travers la forêt luxuriante jusqu'à la porte du parc, que vous devriez atteindre vers 14 ou 15 heures. N'oubliez pas de donner un pourboire à vos guides, cuisiniers et porteurs, car vous les quitterez ici. Un véhicule vous ramènera à l'hôtel à Arusha, où l'heure de la fête a sonné ! Départ pour l'aéroport ou d'autres destinations en Tanzanie ou au Kenya. Une excursion sur les plages de Zanzibar est un bon moyen de récupérer. 1. BOOKING AND PAYMENT

1.2 A deposit of 25% of the total value for each person referred to on the booking form is

2.5 Meals are provided three times per day; breakfast, lunch and dinner, often including a packed

Lunch or picnic for one of these.

2.6 Accommodation varies depending on location and price plan. Camping, tented camps,

Bandas, guest houses, tented accommodation and hotels are regarded as suitable accommodation.

2.7 Adventure Makers Tanzania reserves the right to substitute accommodation for those indicated in

3. DESCRIPTIONS AND SERVICE

4. COMPLAINTS

4.1 If you are unhappy with any service or facility provided, you must immediately inform your

4.2 If a representative has been informed and the complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction, a

5. CANCELLATION & REFUNDS

d) A full refund.

8. MEDICAL & TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
