Day 1

Arrivée à l'aéroport international de Tribhuwan

Welcome to Nepal! We will receive you the airport and transport you to hotel.

Day 2

Réunion préalable et visite de la vallée de Katmandou

The day beings with a meeting and introducing with your trek and tour leader. After breakfast, we organize a short meeting at the hotel lobby. The meeting finalizes the preparation of the trek. In the meeting, you need to bring three copies of passport copy size photos, and travel insurance copy. Soon, the day tour will starts and on the tour visit most highlighted places of Kathmandu.


PASHUPATINATH TEMPLE

Pashupatinath Temple is one of the most visited and sacred places of Hindu. According to Hindu mythology, Pashupatinath is one of four Dham. It is not only a religious place also the cremation place. The dead body is burning with firewood in the bank of holy river Bagmati.


BOUDDHA STUPA

Bouddhanath Stupa is one of the biggest Buddhist shrines in the world. While touring in Buddha you can meet the monks, learn Buddhism, gather the information about Thankas, and its significants.


BHAKTAPUR DURBAR SQUARE

Bhaktapur Durbar Square is a royal palace built in centuries ago when Nepal had 22 and 24 state kingdom. The palace is famous with the name of fifty-five windows durbar, Nyatapol Mandir the tallest temple in Nepal. The Lion Gate, Golden Gates, The statue of King BhupatindraMalla and the pottery where the potter makes are the main attractions of Bhaktapur. After finished the tour, the evening time is to review the luggage for the trek. If you interested you can walk around Thamel, choose the restaurant for dinner.

Day 3

Route vers Ramechhap, vol pour Lukla (2 840 m). Trekking jusqu'à Manjo (2 630 m).

Midnight, around 1:30 AM, drive to Ramechhap for a flight to Lukla. We take a packed breakfast today. After a short scenic flight to Lukla, we begin the trek after meeting our local trekking staff. We reach Manjo via Phakding today, located on the banks of the Dudh Koshi River.

Day 4

Trek vers Namche Bazaar (3441m)

Following Dudh Koshi River and then a climb to reach Namche takes approximately 4 hours. We cross the river several times, encountering yaks and mules along the trail. Finally, the trail on the banks finishes and we start ascending on a steep gradient up, crossing the highest suspension bridge of Everest Region. The climb is steep, so we walk at a comfortable pace. Finally, we reach Namche, the biggest town in the region. Enjoy the lunch and stroll around Namche and visit a museum that belongs to Sherpa culture, and the history records of Mt. Everest expedition by Tenzing Norgay and Sir Edmund Hillary, the first ones to scale Everest.

Day 5

Trekking à Khumjung

Today you will hike up to Syangboche and The view of Namche, Khumjung village, and the massive summits in front are stupendous from Syangboche. And continue to Khumjung village. Explore the village, museum, where we see skull of Yeti.

Day 6

Trek jusqu'à la station de Tengboche (3880m)

After breakfast at the hotel, we heard north towards Tengboche, a superb hill for photography and Himalayan view. The monastery at Tengboche is one of the major highlights of Everest Base Camp standard trek. To reach Tengboche we need to walk for about 6 hours today, which includes a steep uphill bit on the second half of the day. In the evening, we walk around the Tengboche monastery and visit the monastery. Enjoy the beautiful evening with spectacular views at Tengboche Hill.

Day 7

Trekking jusqu'à Dingboche (4350m)

After breakfast we trek down to Debuche and continue on to Pangboche, which is a major Sherpa settlement. Walking through the village, we get to see Mt. Ama Dablam towering us from the right, making a picture perfect setting for the village to be in. In fact, the mountain will be at a stone’s throw away from us as we walk. On undulating trails we cross a river and make a short climb up to Dingboche valley.

Day 8

Randonnée jusqu'à la colline de Naragsang (5 090 m) et retour à Dingboche (4 350 m).

Today is the second rest and acclimatization day of this trek. After morning breakfast, we will walk around Dingboche. We hike up to Naragsang Hill. After returning from the day hike, we rest at the guesthouse and prepare for next day. Enjoy a hearty dinner in Dingboche.

Day 9

Trekking jusqu'à Chhukung (4710m)

From Dingboche to Chhukung is about two and half an hours walking in slightly uphill at the altitude of 4710m.

Day 10

Trek vers Lobuche par le Kongma La, 5 535 m

Get Up early morning and starts the first adventure journey of this program. We need to pack lunch for that and have to order in the previous night, that is done by the guide. The trip begins from about 5:00 AM in the Winter and 4:30 AM in the Autumn and Spring with the headlamp. It depends on the walking pace, normally reach at the top in 3.5 hours. The beginning is not so much tough but in the end, need to push up that may be hard. After reaching the top the view heals up the pain and relaxes the tiredness. And finally, get to Lobuche via crossing the tough glacier.

Day 11

Trekking jusqu'au camp de base de l'Everest (5 365 m) puis retour à Gorak Shep (5 170 m)

Today we walk to the main destination of the trek – Everest Base Camp. The rocky walk by the Khumbu glacier is quite rough and precarious on some bits, so do be careful. The first village we reach is Gorakshep where we have our lunch and continue to Everest Base Camp. On the way to Base Camp it is important to bring some snacks and water. Explore the Base Camp and return to the guesthouse which is about 5 hours up and down.

Day 12

Montée à Kalapattar (5 555 m) tôt le matin et trekking jusqu'à Dzongla.

This is also a challenging day. Early morning we hike up the Kalapathar to catch the sunrise. As we climb up the mountains come to an eye level. We get a panoramic view of the Khumbu mountains from the top, from where we can see Mt. Everest, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Pumori, Mt. Lhotse and many others peaks. You make an easy descent to Gorakshep and have breakfast before trekking to Dzongla, a tiny hamlet at the base of Cholaste mountain.

Day 13

De Dzongla à Gokyo par le col de Chola (5360 m)

Again, early morning, get up and ready for the next adventure of Chola Pass. It is an iconic pass of Everest. Today, we also need to carry a packed lunch because we do not get any teashops until we get to Thangna. It is quite a long day, and nearly 500m we need to walk above the ice path. Crampons are ideally good for walking on the icy path. Once you reach the top, you will be rewarded with astonishing views of the Himalayas. After Chola Pass, we need to cross the largest glacier, Nagzuma, to get to Gokyo.

Day 14

Trekking jusqu'à Gokyo Ri (5 383 m) et retour à Gokyo.

An early morning hike up to Gokyo Ri (5383m) takes us to an amazing viewpoint to see the mountains. After about 2.5-3 hrs hiking, you will be on the top of Gokyo Ri, one of the highlights of the trip. From here, you can see a panoramic view of mountains, including Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Makalu, Mt. Cho-Oyu, Mt. Nuptse, Gyachung Kang, Numbur, Thamserku, Cholatse, and Tawoche in addition to Ngozumpa Glacier and Gokyo Valley and the lake by the side.

Day 15

Trek vers Lungde par Renjo La, 5 340 m

It’s the final day for the early morning wake-up, walk-in torchlight, and have packed lunch. Renjo La Pass and its path are comparatively easier than others, Kong Mo La and Chola Pass. From the beginning to the Renjo La, the trail is steep up and long. Once you get to the top then you will forget everything; none of the passes or viewpoints can beat Renjo La. It gives a beautiful view. From here, we can see Mt. Makalu as well. After spending an amount of time, we trek down to Lungde.

Day 16

Trekking jusqu'à Namche Bazaar

Our journey to Namche from Lungde starts after breakfast. Today, we descend to Namche via different towns: Marlung, Thame, and Thamo. Finally, we reach Namche Bazaar.

Day 17

Trekking jusqu'à Lukla

After finishing the trek, we make our way to Lukla, which will be our final stop in the Solukhumbu region. For lunch, we stop at Phakding, a village that lies on the banks of the Dudh Koshi River

Day 18

Matin Vol de retour à Katmandou

This morning you will flight out from Lukla to Kathmandu, and upon arrival your guide transfers you to the hotel. A good rest after a long trek will be crucial. In the evening, you have leisure time to stroll around Thamel and do any souvenir shopping if you like.

Day 19

Fin du voyage, départ définitif.

The trip concludes today. Your guide will drop you off at the international airport for your departure back home.

BROAD ADVENTURE PVT. LTD requests you to read these booking terms and conditions of Broad Adventure carefully and to understand them before booking your trip with us. This Booking Terms and Conditions is a legal contract between Broad Adventure and you which contains important information about services provided by Broad Adventure and sets out the basis of your legal relationship with Broad Adventure.


1. Bookings and Payments:

1.1 To process a Booking you must send us a completed booking form with a 20% non-refundable but useable by postponing or transferable deposit as detailed below. This will constitute your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

1.2 We require you to email a copy of each passport and passport-size photo to our Kathmandu office, which is used to issue permits in advance for trekking, climbing, and other adventure activities.

1.3 After receiving a photocopy of your passport and the completed booking form with your 20% deposit, we will send you the final confirmation receipt.

1.4 All deposits required are per person per trip.

1.5 Please get in touch with us regarding direct deposit details.

1.6 A bank service charge may apply and should be paid at the time of deposit.

1.7 On wire transfer, your mediator bank may charge additionally. 

1.8 We only accept Visa or MasterCard and a 3.5% levy will be added to the card processing fee.

1.9 The remaining balance can be paid in cash upon your arrival in Kathmandu.

1.10 Broad Adventure reserves the right to cancel your trip should the full amount not be paid in time.

1.11 We will accept your last-minute booking 2 days before the tour departure date, full payment is required.


2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

2.1 Trip Cancellation Notice: To cancel your trip, please email us a valid written notice at least  7 days before the departure date. Cancellations will only be processed with proper notice and approval.

2.2 Refunds for Cancellations 7 Days Before Departure: If you cancel your trip 7 days before the departure date, 10% of the domestic flight cancelation charge will be deducted, and the remaining amount will be refunded. No refunds will be provided for cancellations made less than 7 days before the departure date.

2.3 No Refunds After Trip Commencement: 

Once your trip begins, no refunds or reimbursements will be provided under any circumstances, including but not limited to early departure, illness, personal reasons, or unforeseen events. By starting the trip, you acknowledge and agree that the full cost of the trip is non-refundable, regardless of whether you complete the entire itinerary or not. Broad Adventure will not be liable for any refunds for unused services, such as meals, accommodations, transportation, or other activities that you do not utilize during the trip. Additionally, if a group member leaves the trip for any reason—whether voluntarily, involuntarily, or due to the commission of an unlawful act—no refunds will be issued for any part of the trip, including any unused meals, accommodations, or services.


3. Booking Changes:

3.1 There will be no refund if a group member leaves a trip for any reason, voluntarily, involuntarily, or if you commit any unlawful act after the trip has commenced. We will make no refunds for any meals, accommodation, or services not used.

3.2 Should you require other changes to your original tour, the person who booked the tour must submit a written document with the changes required. While every effort will be made, changes cannot be guaranteed. Additionally, any changes will incur an additional cost.

3.3 Suppose you are prevented from traveling on the tour by genuine circumstances, for example (without restriction) because of death, injury, or serious illness of the participants, close relative or friend, redundancy. In that case, you may postpone or transfer your booking to another person, provided they meet all the requirements relating to that tour. You must provide proof of why you are unable to travel at the time you change your booking. A fee of $ 100.00 per person is required if you postpone or transfer this tour no less than two weeks before trip departure. There will be no options available 14 days before trip departure. Additionally, in some cases especially, pre-booked tickets, transportation, hotels, etc. will incur an additional cost. 


4. No-Show and Late Arrival Policy

4.1. All participants must confirm their attendance at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time. Failure to do so will be considered a no-show, and the participant may forfeit their place on the trip without a refund. Additionally, anyone who does not appear at the departure location at the scheduled time will be marked as a no-show, and the trip will proceed as planned without them.

4.2. We recommend staying in contact with our team if you anticipate delays so we can assist wherever possible.

4.3. If the participants booked their hotel on their own, the participants must inform or report their name of the hotel and address at least 24 hours before the trip starts. 


5. Passport and Visas

5.1. All clients must have a valid passport with at least 6 months of validity from the return date. Nepalese visas can be obtained from the Nepalese Consulate in your country or arrive at Kathmandu Airport. Nepalese visa costs are the sole responsibility of clients.


6. Travel Insurance

6.1. Travel insurance is compulsory for all Clients undertaking any tour. It should provide adequate protection for the full duration of the tour to cover personal injury, death, medical expenses, repatriation expenses, helicopter rescue, air ambulance, and adequate cover for baggage.

6.2. We strongly recommend that all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, interruptions, medical emergencies, and other unexpected events. Broad Adventure is not liable for any costs not covered by insurance.


7. Health & Fitness

7.1. All our Nepal tours and treks require a level of fitness; therefore, you should always check with your local general practitioners regarding your health and fitness before you travel. It's the client's responsibility to notify Broad Adventure of any pre-existing medical condition and/or differently able that might reasonably be expected to increase the risk of you requiring medical attention, that may affect your ability to travel.


8. Children

8.1. A legal guardian must accompany all travelers under the age of eighteen. If you have a question regarding age and suitability, please contact us for further information.


9. Publicity

9.1. You agree that Broad Adventure may use images of you taken during the trip without recourse to you and compensation to you, for publicity and promotion purposes only through whatever medium it chooses.


10. Changes to your Holiday and Pricing

10.1. Traveling with Broad Adventure requires a degree of flexibility, good humor, and an understanding that modes of transport, accommodation, and itineraries may change, even after the tour has commenced, without prior notice due to local circumstances such as flight delay, cancellation or postponement due to notorious weather in the Himalayan regions or other unpredictable circumstances such as land-slides, road blockage, flood, snow, political unrest or delay arrival, etc. Broad Adventure is unable to refund any monies under the above circumstances due to prior supplier arrangements. If possible, we will always endeavor to provide you with an alternative or substitute trip of the same category.

10.2. Broad Adventure does not accept any responsibility for loss of employment, delays, or compensation resulting from situations beyond Broad Adventure's control.

10.3. Our holidays and tour/trek packages are based on twin shared accommodation. Thus, a single room supplement charge will be imposed on clients who do not have another tour participant to share accommodation with.

10.4. We reserve the right to revise pricing rates posted in our marketing material, under any circumstances, or under the pressure of various external factors that are further than our control, for instance, changes in the exchange rate, government action, etc.


11. Privacy

11.1. In order to collect information from you to make a booking through Broad Adventure we ask many questions to obtain the necessary permits etc. No private or personal information that you supply to us when making a booking will not be disclosed for any other purposes.


12. Risk & Liabilities

12.1. We are committed to providing the best services which will give you a once-in-a-lifetime journey in this connection, we perform our duties honestly & seriously to make your journey very smooth & pleasant. However, the entire programs in Nepal are conducted strictly under the rules and regulations of their own policies.

12.2. Therefore Broad Adventure and its related organization shall not be responsible for any changes in the itinerary due to unavoidable circumstances such as govt. restriction, Land slide, road blockage, flood, snow, political unrest, cancellation of flight, delay, sickness or accident, Any extra cost incurred thereof shall be borne by the clients on the spots.


13. Our Responsible Tourism Policy

At Broad Adventure, we are committed to promoting responsible and sustainable travel practices. We expect all our clients to adhere to the following terms and conditions to ensure a positive impact on the environment, local communities, and cultural heritage:

13.1 Environmental Responsibility: 

13.1.1 Respect for Nature: Clients must respect and protect the natural environment. This includes not littering, avoiding damage to ecosystems, and following designated trails or paths during outdoor activities. 

13.1.2 Conservation Efforts: Clients should support and participate in conservation initiatives, such as minimizing waste, conserving water and energy, and respecting wildlife habitats and protected areas. 

13.1.3 Leave No Trace: Clients are expected to follow the principles of "Leave No Trace" by leaving natural areas as they found them, without causing harm or leaving any trace of their presence.

13.2 Cultural Sensitivity: 

13.2.1 Respect for Local Culture: Clients must respect the customs, traditions, and cultural norms of the communities they visit. This includes appropriate attire, behavior, and interactions with local people, especially in sacred or culturally sensitive sites. 

13.2.2 Cultural Exchanges: Clients should seek opportunities to engage with local communities in a respectful and meaningful way, promoting cultural understanding and supporting local economies by purchasing local products and services.

13.2.3 Photography and Privacy: Clients must respect the privacy and consent of individuals they encounter during their travels. It is important to obtain permission before taking photographs or sharing images of local people.

13.3 Social Responsibility: 

13.3.1 Support Local Communities: Clients should prioritize supporting local businesses, such as accommodations, restaurants, and guides, to contribute positively to the local economy and foster sustainable development.

13.3.2 Responsible Souvenir Purchasing: Clients should avoid purchasing souvenirs made from endangered species, protected plants, or cultural artifacts. They should support local artisans and buy sustainable, locally produced items. 

13.3.3 Responsible Volunteering: If clients engage in volunteer activities, they must ensure that they are aligned with ethical standards and benefit local communities in a sustainable and responsible manner.


14. Health and Safety: 

14.1. Personal Health and Fitness: Clients are responsible for assessing their own health and fitness levels and ensuring that they are adequately prepared for the physical demands of their chosen activities. It is recommended to consult with a healthcare professional before participating in any adventure travel.

14.2. Compliance with Safety Instructions: Clients must follow the instructions and guidelines provided by Broad Adventures' guides and staff to ensure their personal safety and the safety of others during the trip. 

14.3. Travel Insurance: It is mandatory for clients to have comprehensive travel insurance that covers adventure activities, medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and other relevant risks.


15. Compliance with Laws and Regulations: 

Clients must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and requirements of the countries they visit, including those related to customs, immigration, health, and safety.


16. Complaints 

If you have a complaint about the trip or tour, you must inform your tour leader or guide as soon as possible so they can take appropriate action. Complaints that are not reported to the tour leader or a responsible person in Kathmandu at the earliest opportunity will not be considered valid or actionable.


By engaging in our services, clients acknowledge and agree to these responsible travel terms and conditions. Failure to adhere to these terms may result in termination of services without refund and may disqualify clients from participating in future trips.
