Commencez votre meilleur circuit au Bangladesh en vous plongeant dans le marché aux légumes de Kawranbazar, le marché de gros le plus animé, pour découvrir le côté le plus dynamique de Dhaka. Ensuite, rendez-vous à l'Assemblée nationale (bâtiment du Parlement) et prenez le temps de photographier son design élégant de l'extérieur. La prochaine étape est la mosquée Star, vieille de près de 200 ans, impressionnante par ses centaines de motifs d'étoiles bleues sur l'extérieur de ses dômes blancs. Ensuite, nous découvrirons les débuts de l'indépendance du Bangladesh au Curzon Hall de l'université de Dhaka et nous rendrons hommage à la déesse hindoue Durga au temple de Dhakeswari. Notre programme comprend également le palais inachevé mais obsédant du fort de Lalbagh, l'église arménienne, le seul vestige reconnu du patrimoine qui marque la présence des Arméniens au Bangladesh, et Ahsan Manzil, un palais rose qui était autrefois la résidence des Nawabs (propriétaires terriens) de Dacca.

Après la visite, nous nous rendrons au port fluvial de Sadarghat, où vous pourrez observer une scène palpitante d'arrivées et de départs de personnes et de marchandises. The ship will arrive at Barisal in the very early morning. After breakfast, leave the ship and drive to Banaripara to start our backwater cruise to a traditional floating market. Located on one of largest deltas on this planet, Bangladesh is known for its extensive river network, with the essence found in Barisal. As such, water becomes the cradle of local life and business. Today, we will navigate our way along a tranquil backwater canal into a local water market, where talking vendors and wooden boats full of crops offer you some best moments to glimpse into Bangladeshi life.

After lunch, we will drive to Bagerhat to visit the Sixty Dome Mosque, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Acclaimed as the most impressive mosque on the Indian subcontinent and from the Sultanate era (1204-1576 AD), it dwarfs all others in representing the ancient Bengal architecture. Follow your guide to admire its stunning brickwork and terracotta designs! Next, visit Shrine of Khan Jahan Ali, the mausoleum of a celebrated Sufi, and the nearby Nine Dome Mosque, before we drive for about 1.5 hours to take the Sundarbans reserved boat.

Dans la matinée, vous serez transféré en bateau depuis un embarcadère de Mongla jusqu'au parc national des Sundarbans. Classé au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO en raison de la présence de la plus grande forêt de mangroves au monde et d'une faune rare et variée, ce parc abrite des tigres royaux du Bengale capables de nager, un résultat unique de leur adaptation à l'environnement. Vous pouvez également vous attendre à voir des dauphins en voie de disparition, des sangliers, des cerfs et une variété d'autres animaux curieux. Tout d'abord, demandez un permis d'entrée à l'Office des forêts de Chadpai et invitez un garde à nous protéger tout au long de l'excursion en forêt. Bateau jusqu'à l'éco-centre de Harbaria, "la maison des tigres", d'où nous nous enfoncerons dans le parc. Après un safari d'un certain temps, vous vous dirigerez vers Kochikhali et déjeunerez à bord. Ce matin, nous prendrons le bateau pour Kotka. Il vous faudra environ 2 heures pour arriver à Kotka. On arriving at Rajshahi six hours later, check in at the hotel, have a short break, and hop in our car to Puthia Temple City, the place to find the largest Hindu temple complex in Bangladesh. Govinda Temple, where you can appreciate elaborate terracotta designs depicting Hindu epics, and the imposing Shiva Temple are our main destinations in this temple city. Finally, go to Padma River bank and admire sunset over the river. Go back to the hotel after the sightseeing.

In the morning, we will drive to the village of Paharpur. On the way, stop by the Kushumba Mosque, a rare stone mosque whose image is printed on the 5 Bangladeshi taka note. Afterwards, pass a great expanse of sugarcane fields and gardens until we arrive at Paharpur to visit another UNESCO site, Paharpur Buddhist Bihar, also known as Sompura Mohavihara. The impressive architecture of this Buddhist temple seems to be a work of modern geometric art, while its history can actually date back to the 9th century. With statues of Buddha and Hindu deities found in abundance, the thick otherworldly atmosphere will carry you away.

After lunch, drive to Bogra and we’ll visit Mahasthangarh, an archaeological site to find ancient traces of the lost Pundra Kingdom that dates from 300 BC. At dusk, we will enjoy an amazing sunset from Vasu Vihara. After that, transfer to your hotel in Bogra.

The first attraction for today is the Navaratna Temple at Sirajganj. Notre dernière activité aujourd'hui est une promenade en bateau jusqu'à la région côtière de Kumira pour visiter le plus grand chantier de démolition de navires au monde. Vous passerez la nuit à Chittagong.

Ce matin, nous partirons pour Rangamati, un joyau caché dans la région des collines de Chittagong. Avant d'arriver, nous nous arrêterons au sanctuaire de Bayezid Bostami, un lieu saint pour les musulmans soufis, dont l'extérieur est peint en blanc apaisant et en bleu doux. À l'arrivée à Rangamati, déposez vos bagages à l'hôtel et commencez notre passionnante croisière à Rangamati sur le lac Kaptai.
