Day 1

Arrivée à Katmandou

Namaste and welcome to Kathmandu, Nepal! An Asian Heritage Treks & Travel representative will welcome you at the airport with your nameplate. After you arrive at the Nepal airport, we will transfer you to the hotel. Your hotel will be downtown at the tourist hub. Our representative will facilitate and discuss your travel itinerary. There will be enough time to stroll through the streets of Thamel.

Day 2

Visite de Katmandou

Explore Kathmandu’s cultural treasures on a guided tour by private vehicle. Begin at Kathmandu Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to admire intricate wood-carved temples and historic structures. Next, head to Swyambhunath, the Monkey Temple, where Buddhist and Hindu traditions peacefully coexist. Enjoy panoramic views of Kathmandu from this hilltop marvel. Visit Pashupatinath Temple, a vital Hindu pilgrimage site in Southeast Asia. Witness the solemn body cremation ceremonies along the Bagmati River. Next, explore Boudhanath Stupa, another UNESCO gem built in 600 AD, representing Buddhism. After sightseeing, take time to stroll around Boudhanath Stupa before returning to your hotel. This comprehensive journey offers a rich blend of history, spirituality, and culture in the heart of Kathmandu.­

Day 3

Visites de Patan et Bhaktapur

Today, you will explore two ancient cities near Kathmandu: Patan and Bhaktapur. 


In Patan, your itinerary includes visits to UNESCO World Heritage Sites like the Krishna Temple and Patan Durbar Square. Next, explore the Patan Museum to delve deeper into the history of this city and the reign of its kings. Then, proceed to the Golden Temple, a significant attraction for both Hindus and Buddhists, as well as the Banglamukhi Temple. 


After visiting Patan you will head towards Bhaktapur; it is the city that was the capital of the Greater Malla Kingdom until the 15th century. Bhaktapur is a treasure trove of artistic creations displayed in the temples and monuments of the city. Now this square is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site and is managed by the archaeological department of Nepal and Bhaktapur municipality. Bhaktapur is known as the most ancient city. Durbar Square used to be the home place of royal families. There are four different squares; Taumadhi Square, Durbar Square, Pottery Square, and Dattatreya Square. You’ll explore the ancient architecture, intricate woodwork, and vibrant culture of Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Nyatapola Temple, Bhairavnath temple,  a statue of King Bhupatindra Malla, Peacock Window, Golden Gate, fifty-five windowed palace, Taleju bell, Dattatreya temple, Vatsala Temple, Chyasilin Mandap, is the major attraction of Bhaktapur.

After completing your sightseeing, return to Kathmandu and enjoy some well-deserved rest.

Day 4

De Katmandou à Chitwan

You will be heading towards Chitwan, located in the southwest direction, approximately 150–160 kilometers away from Kathmandu. Along the way, you will come across numerous small shops and a mini-market. As you approach Chitwan, you will notice the forest becoming denser along your route. Upon your arrival in Chitwan, check-in at the hotel and take some time to rest. Later, you can explore the local market and streets in the area. In the evening, you will have the opportunity to attend the Tharu Cultural Program. Enjoy the program, and after it concludes, return to the hotel.

Day 5

Chitwan National Park is a preserved area in the Terai Lowlands of south-central Nepal, renowned for its rich biodiversity. Rare mammals like one-horned rhinos and Bengal tigers live in its lush flat land and dense forests. The park is also home to numerous bird species, including the giant hornbill. Dugout canoes navigate the northern Rapti River, which is also home to crocodiles. Within the park lies Balmiki Ashram, a revered Hindu pilgrimage site.


Start your full-day sightseeing tour. You’ll embark on a Jungle Safari by Jeep. Enter the community forest section to observe the one-horned rhino and various other wild animals like wild boar, deer, and leopard. Afterward, cross the Rapti River to reach the outskirts of the main national park area. If luck is on your side, you might even spot the Royal Bengal Tiger in the highland area, where the bushes can reach up to 6 feet.

Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to witness wild elephants and other fascinating creatures. Once you’ve completed your jungle safari, return to the hotel for lunch. Later, take a guided tour of the Tharu Village and enjoy a canoeing adventure in the Rapti River. Here, you can observe the Marsh Mugger and Gharial crocodiles resting by the banks of the Rapti River in Chitwan. Return to the hotel to relax after your sightseeing tour.

Day 6

After having your breakfast start your journey to Lumbini, which is situated 150 kilometers from Chitwan. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and then explore Lumbini, the birthplace of Gautama Buddha, which has profound spiritual significance. Take a transformative journey through this sacred site, visiting landmarks like the Maya Devi Temple, Bodhi Temple, Maya Devi Pond, and the iconic Ashoka Pillar. Explore the monastery zone, admiring the various architectural styles of the monastic structures while soaking yourself in Lumbini's calmness and spirituality.

Day 7

De Lumbini à Pokhara (6-7 heures de route)

Today you will head towards Pokhara, located in the northwest direction of Lumbini, which is approximately 210 kilometers away. Upon your arrival in Pokhara, check in at the hotel and take some time to rest. Later in the afternoon, you can explore the charming lakeside streets of Pokhara and enjoy the serene beauty of Phewa Lake.

Day 8

On the eighth day of our Nepal cultural round-trip, which includes the Poon Hill trek, we get up early to watch the sunrise over Sarangkot Hill. You will witness an amazing scene that will leave a lasting impression on your mind. After breakfast, you have the option of participating in adrenaline-inducing paragliding, which is entirely optional. In the afternoon, we will plan visits to the International Mountain Museum, Davis Falls, Gupteshower Cave, and the Peace Pagoda. Just as we begin the day, we will end it by looking at the sunset from the top of Anadu Hill. Following this unforgettable experience, we will arrange transportation back to the hotel.

Day 9

Your journey to Ghode Pani begins in Ulleri and takes us through beautiful rhododendron forests with breathtaking views of Annapurna South, Fishtail Mountain, and Hiunchuli. As we travel through this stunning area, we will be captivated by the natural beauty that surrounds us. We will spend the night at Ghode Pani, nestled in the tranquility of this enchanting landscape.

Day 11

Ghode Pani via Poon Hill jusqu'à Tadapani (3210m), (6-7 heures)

you will get up early to witness the breathtaking sunrise from Poon Hill, where panoramic views of the Annapurna Region, including the majestic Dhaulagiri Mountain, are waiting. After breakfast at the guesthouse, we set out to explore Tadapani. Along the way, you get to see the breathtaking views of the Annapurna range and the peaceful atmosphere of the forest. When we arrive in Tadapani, we'll spend the night in a cozy tea house surrounded by a peaceful mountain landscape.

Day 12

Tadapani à Tolka (7-8 heures de marche)

After breakfast, you prepare for a day of trekking to Tolka. The first part takes us downhill through lush forested paths, eventually leading to the picturesque Ghandruk Village. We stop for a refreshing lunch while taking in the panoramic views of the Annapurna mountain range. Continuing our journey from Ghandruk, we travel to Landruk before arriving at our final destination for the day, Tolka. Tonight's accommodations are at a cozy tea house, which provides a comfortable resting place in the middle of a peaceful mountain setting.

Day 13

De Tolka à Pokhara via le camp de base australien (5-6 heures de marche), (1,5 heure de route)

Begin the 13th day of your Nepal cultural round-trip, which includes the Poon Hill trek, with breakfast and preparations for the final day of trekking to Pokhara. Dewrali is the first village we will encounter on this trek. This village will give us a view of the Pokhara Valley. We will continue our trek from Dewrali to the Australian Base Camp. From there, we'll trek downhill for 45 minutes to Kadhe, the trek's endpoint. We will arrange for a taxi from Kadhe to the hotel in Pokhara. We'll stay at the hotel for the night.

Day 14

De Pokhara à Katmandou (6-7 heures de route)

early morning after enjoying breakfast in Pokhara, you will embark on a scenic drive back to Kathmandu. The return trip from Pokhara to Kathmandu is arranged on a comfortable tourist bus, which provides a scenic ride back to the lively city. Upon reaching Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your respective hotel to rest. In the evening, you can explore the bustling downtown area of Thamel.­

Your trip will come to an end today. You will be advised and assisted with your onward travel arrangements and transfer to Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport by private transport around three hours before your flight schedule and flight back to your home/other travel destination.

Introductory provision:

“Company” refers to Asian Heritage Travel.

“Customer” refers to any person or organization trading with the Company or its employees or sub-contractors whether relating to the Companies products or services. 

“Contract” refers to the agreement between the Company and the Customer in relation to a booking.

“Holiday package” refers to any activity, trek, tour, course, accommodation or service offered by the Company. 

“Working days” means:  Sundays to Fridays, with the exception of recognized public holidays.

“Office hours” mean:  Sundays to Fridays from 08:00-18:00, with the exception of recognized public holidays.

“Group member” refers to an individual who falls within a group which is related to a Holiday package being offered by the Company.

 

Terms & Conditions:

These Terms and Conditions, together with all information relating to your chosen Holiday package, shall be part of the Contract between Asian Heritage Treks & Expeditions (“the Company”) and you (“the Customer”). Please read them carefully as they set out your and our respective rights and obligations. By asking the Company to confirm your booking, the Company is entitled to assume that the Customer has had the opportunity to read these booking conditions and legally agrees to abide by them.

 

Note:

When you confirm the Holiday package, we need a photo copy of your passport and upon the creation of the Contract; a deposit must be paid equal to 15% of the total agreed travel sum. The remainder of the travel sum must be received by the Company no later than six weeks before the day of departure. If the Contract is concluded within 6 weeks of the day of departure, the travel sum must be paid immediately and in full. Different terms and conditions may exist between other Customers and the Company; these terms and conditions are not transferable. In addition, payment arrangements may differ. This will not render the remainder of the contract void.

 

Asian Heritage Travel cannot be held responsible for the following:

• Injury, accident, illness, death while on the Holiday package unless negligence is proven against the Company.

• The loss, theft or damage to valuable or personal property such as camera, sunglasses, luggage.

• Alterations in the itinerary, and any subsequent costs, resulting from such events as illness of a Group member, unsafe weather conditions, delayed flights, and non-granting of permits or visas.

 

Cancelation charges:

Should you need to cancel your chosen Holiday package after it has been confirmed, you must immediately inform the Company in written form by recorded delivery post, fax or email. The notice of cancellation will only be effective when the Company receives it in written form. Cancellations outside Office hours are deemed to have been made on the next Working day. 

If a contract is cancelled, the Customer is liable to pay cancellation charges in addition to any booking charges. The cancellation charges are as follows:

• cancellation up to the 42nd day before the day of departure: the deposit;

• cancellation from the 42nd day up to the 28th day before the day of departure: 35% of the travel sum;

• cancellation from the 28th day up to the 21st day before the day of departure: 40% of the travel sum;

• cancellation from the 21st day up to the 14th day before the day of departure: 50% of the travel sum;

• cancellation from the 14th day up to the 5th day before the day of departure: 75% of the travel sum;

• cancellation from the 5th day up to the day of departure: 90% of the travel sum;

• cancellation on the day of departure or later: the full travel sum.
