Visite de Katmandou et de Pokhara

Welcome to Kathmandu, Nepal! The Asian Heritage Treks & Travel representative will welcome you at the airport with your nameplate. After you arrive at the Tribhuvan International Airport, we will transfer you to the hotel. On the way from the airport to the hotel, you will pass by the Pashupatinath Temple, the Royal Palace Museum, i.e., Narayanhiti, the Garden of Dreams, and reach Thamel. Your hotel will be downtown at the Touristic Hub. Our representative will facilitate and discuss your travel itinerary. There will be enough time to stroll through the streets of Thamel.

Begin your day with a visit to the historic Kathmandu Durbar Square, where you can explore the intricate architecture of ancient palaces, temples, and courtyards while immersing yourself in Nepal's rich cultural heritage. 

After that, visit the iconic Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple, which lies atop a hill and provides panoramic views of the Kathmandu valley as well as a glimpse at Buddhism's spiritual essence. 

­Next, you will head towards Boudhanath Stupa, one of the world's largest stupas, where you can walk around with devotees, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, and shop for Tibetan handicrafts.

­Finally, end your day at Pashupatinath Temple, Nepal's most sacred Hindu temple complex, where you can experience the vibrant spirituality that defines this city.

Today, you will visit two ancient cities near Kathmandu: Patan and Bhaktapur. 

In Patan, you will be visiting other UNESCO World Heritage sites: the Krishna Temple and the Patan Durbar Square. Later on, visit the Patan Museum, where you can learn more about the history of Patan and the kings who reigned here. Later, visit the Golden Temple, a major attraction for both Hindu and Buddhist people, and Banglamukhi Temple.

In Bhaktapur, you will be amazed by the architecture, as until today, the city has been able to keep itself intact in its old form. You can observe the old wood-carved buildings all around Bhaktapur, and then you will visit another UNESCO World Heritage Site, Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Explore the surroundings and afterwards visit the Nyatapola Temple, one of the tallest pagoda-style temples in Nepal. After completing your sightseeing, get back to Kathmandu, check-in at the hotel, and rest.

After breakfast in the Kathmandu hotel, you’ll embark on a scenic drive to Pokhara, nestled beside the stunning Phewa Lake. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and unwind after the journey. As the afternoon unfolds, feel free to explore the vibrant lakeside street of Pokhara and soak in the charming atmosphere by the banks of Phewa Lake.

Today, you will start with an early drive to Sarangkot to capture the tranquil and magical view of the city before sunrise and also to view the first rays of sunlight hitting the mountains in the background. Sarangkot offers panoramic views of the Annapurna, Fishtail, Dhaulagiri, and other peaks. After spending some time in Sarangkot, you will drive back to the hotel in Pokhara.  

­After having your breakfast, you will have a sightseeing tour of David Falls, Gupteshwor Mahadev cafe, International Mountain Museum, and conclude your day after visiting the World Peace Stupa.

Today, you will have a scenic drive back to Kathmandu, starting from Pokhara after breakfast. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your respective hotel and have a rest. In the evening, you can stroll around the downtown area of Thamel.

Your trip will come to an end today. After breakfast, our representative will pick you up in a private vehicle and drop you off at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport approximately three hours before your scheduled flight back to your home or other destination.
