Itinéraire

Le mont Everest (8848 m), conquis pour la première fois par Sir Edmund Hillary et Tensing Norgay en 1953, a été l'aspiration de nombreuses personnes au Népal et à l'étranger. Le trek du camp de base de l'Everest est un voyage exaltant jusqu'au camp de base de cette merveille de la nature et permet aux randonneurs de découvrir les charmants villages sherpas, les monastères et la culture en cours de route. De plus, l'interaction avec le parc national de Sagarmatha et ses éléments offre un voyage agréable au milieu de l'Himalaya dans les environs de l'Everest.

Un vol direct vers l'aéroport de Lukla vous emmènera dans la région du Khumbu en 40 minutes depuis Katmandou. Voyager en avion jusqu'à l'aéroport de Lukla est en soi une aventure. Programme du circuit

Day 1

Jour 1 : Arrivée à Katmandou (1300m)

Welcome to Nepal! On your arrival at Kathmandu, you will be received by our staff and transferred to the hotel. It is advisable to take a tour outside your hotel at Thamel and Kathmandu Durbar Square (a UNESCO World Heritage) to explore the lifestyle and people of the capital city. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 2

Jour 2 : Vol vers Lukla et trek vers Monjo (2 835 m), 35 minutes de vol et 4-5 heures de marche.

Flights to Lukla airport are scheduled in the morning to avoid unclear weather conditions in the afternoon. On your flight, you will get to see a spectacular view of the Everest region. On your way to Monjo, you will cross Dudh Koshi River on a couple of occasions and witness breathtaking views of Kusum Khangkaru and Kongde ranges. Overnight stay at Monjo.

Accommodation: Namaste Lodge or Similar on BB plan. 

Day 3

Jour 3 : Trek de Monjo à Namche (3 440 m), 3-4 h.

Monjo village is considered as the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park. Starting with an uphill climb to Jorsalle, you will walk with a glimpse of Kusum Khangkaru (6367), Thamserku (6608m), Nuptse (7861m) and the Mt. Everest (8848m) as well. Further, ascend to Namche Bazaar. This trade hub of the Everest region is perhaps the most famous destination for a brief stop. Overnight stay at Namche Bazaar.

Day 4

Jour 4 : Acclimatation à Namche

Today, you take a short hike to Khumjung village above Namche to adjust your body in the high altitude. Rest of the day is for you to rest and enjoy the majestic view of Everest (8848m), Nuptse (7861m), Ama Dablam (6856m), Taboche (6367m), Lhotse (8414m), and many more. Namche Bazaar in itself is one of the most beautiful settlements in the Khumbu region and make sure you take most out of the rest day at Namche. Overnight stay at Namche Bazaar.

Day 5

Jour 5 : Trek de Namche à Deboche (3820 m), 6-7 heures.

You start your trek climbing towards the Sagarmatha National Park museum and follow the main trail above the river for about two hours and descend to cross Dudh Koshi to Phunki Tenga. The trail climbs through a forest of rhododendrons to Tengboche and, ultimately, reaches Deboche. You can even get to see Danphe (Impeyan Pheasant), musk deer, and Himalayan Thar along the trail to Deboche. Overnight stay at Deboche.

Day 6

Jour 6 : Trek de Deboche à Pheriche (4240m), 6-7 hrs.

Walking past Imja Khola and Pangboche, you continue the trek to Somare. The trail ahead is covered with conifers and rhododendron forests which lead to Pheriche. You also cross the Pheriche Pass (4270m) and trek through pasturelands to reach a large stone wall. Further, Pheriche awaits your arrival. Today’s trail has the views of peaks including Mt. Taboche (6367m), Ama Dablam (6856m), Pokalde (5806m), and Nuptse (7861m) to offer.  Overnight stay at Pheriche.

Day 7

Jour 7 : Acclimatation à Pheriche

On this day, you rest and acclimatize yourself at Pheriche. This village is a popular stop for the trekkers as there is a primary health and aid post to get treatment of altitude sickness and basic first aid assistance if required. To the north of Pheriche, you can see rock towers built in remembrance of trekkers who have lost their lives in the mountains. Overnight stay at Pheriche.

Day 8

Jour 8 : Trek de Pheriche à Lobuche (4910m), 6-7 hrs.

A steep climb over the terminal moraine of Khumbu glacier will lead you to Lobuche. Like the previous days, you will get to see Mt. Taboche (6367m), Ama Dablam (6856m), Pokalde (5806m), and Nuptse ranges as you walk ahead towards Lobuche. It is possible to witness Mt. Taboche (6367m) and Nuptse (7861m) up close from the Lobuche towering. The Lobuche village is an ideal campsite with small huts in a meadow between the Khumbu glacier and Lobuche peak. Overnight stay at Lobuche.

Day 9

Jour 9 : Trek de Lobuche à Gorakshep (5140 m) et exploration du camp de base de l'Everest, 7-8 h.

The trail from Lobuche is a narrow path between the glacial moraine and the mountains walls with a glimpse of Khumbu glacier from the edge of the moraine. Gorakshep is the original Everest Base Camp guarded by the mountain view of Pumori (7165m), Nuptse (7861m), and other spectacular peaks. The new Everest Base Camp is further 3.5 km up the valley through rocky boulders and streams. The Everest Base Camp is the point where climbers gather for summiting the majestic Mt. Everest (8848m). Upon reaching the base camp, you can relish the moment and enjoy the views of Khumbu Glacier and Icefall along with numerous peaks in the Everest massif. You then return back to Gorakshep after enjoying the glorious Everest Base Camp. Overnight stay at Gorakshep.

Day 10

Jour 10 : Randonnée de Gorakshep à Kalapatthar (5550 m) et retour à Pheriche (4240 m), 7-8 h.

To get the clear 360-degree mountain views, you hike to the Kalapatthar viewpoint in the morning. So, you will start your day early today. Undoubtedly, the panoramic view of the Mt. Everest (8848m) alongside Mt. Ama Dablam (6856m), Mt. Lhotse (8414m), Mt. Nuptse (7861m), Mt. Pumori (7165m), and other peaks from Kalapatthar is what you’ll remember first when you think of the whole trip.  On your way back, you will descend to Pheriche via Lobuche and Dughla. Overnight stay at Pheriche.

Day 11

Jour 11 : Trek de Pheriche à Namche (3440 m), 7-8 h.

Today, you will descend down to Namche via Pangboche. First stop is Tengboche, a village you can stop by for lunch with splendid views of Mt. Ama Dablam (6856m), and numerous other peaks in the background from Tengboche Monastery. You are now headed towards Kyangjuma which is a junction of the trinity ways to Gokyo Valley, Khumjung village, and Namche Bazaar. Overnight stay at Namche Bazaar.

Day 12

Jour 12 : Trek de Namche à Lukla (2840m), 5-6 hrs.

Most trekkers find downhill walk from Namche to Lukla as the hardest part of the whole trek. This is not just due to the terrain but the thoughts of exiting the company of the sublime Himalayas also add to the difficulty. You will pass through forests of pine and rhododendrons with the view of snow-capped mountains at distance, reach Phakding and continue to walk to Lukla. Overnight stay at Lukla.

Day 13

Jour 13 : Vol de retour à Katmandou (1300m) depuis Lukla, 35 minutes de vol.

You will have a flight back to Kathmandu as scheduled. Prepare yourself for a slight change in plan in case of bad weather in Lukla as it might delay and or cancel the flight. The flight will offer final views of the Himalayas and upon landing once again at the capital, you head to the hotel for rest and recreation. You also can celebrate the success of the trek in your final day of the journey. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 14

Jour 14 : Départ

Today, your travel in Nepal comes to an end. After greeting goodbyes to the trek members, you will be accompanied by a company representative to the Tribhuvan International Airport. Goodbye and best wishes!

Note: It is notified that all the travel packages such as treks, tours, hikes, expeditions, peak climbing, adventure sports, and others are referred to as ‘trips’ unless mentioned otherwise.

1. Our contract

The bookings you will be making are with Corporate Adventure Treks Pvt. Ltd (Government Registration Number: 134571/071/072. Once the booking is made, you are liable to the agreed Terms and Conditions and your bookings will thus be accepted on such a basis.

2. Deposit requirement  

For confirmation, you are required to pay a Refundable deposit of 30% of trip cost. If the booking is made with 30 days of the departure date then you are required to pay the full amount at the time of booking.

3. Acceptance of booking and final payments   

You will receive a confirmation invoice, once your booking is accepted, thus beginning our date of the contract. You are required to pay the balance of the trip 30 days before the departure date. If the amount is not paid on or before the due date, we acquire the right to cancel your booking. To make the payment you can either use Bank Transfer or Credit Card (Master/Visa/American Express/Union Pay/JCB/SCT Card). The customer is required to fill the preferred payment option while form filling.

4. Your details  

To confirm your booking, you must provide all requested details with the mentioned amount of the trip. You are suggested to mention necessary details such as full name as per passport, date of birth, nationality, passport number, passport issue and expiry date, and any pre-existing medical conditions you have which may affect your travel.

5. Cancellation by the traveler  

Cancellation fee must be paid in case of cancellation of some or all portion of the booking. Such cancellation is applicable when we receive the written confirmation of the cancellation. If you cancel a trip:

- 60 days or more prior to departure, we will keep the deposit;

- Between 59 and 21 days prior to departure, we will retain 20% of the total booking cost

- 20 days or less prior to departure, we will retain 50% paid by you in connection with the booking.

Note that cancellation conditions may be different on some trips and additional services. Also, for certain travel arrangements, the cancellation charge may be higher than those mentioned. If you are not able to continue the trip after it has commenced, then we are not liable for any refunds for unused services. No refunds will be made if you fail to join the tour, join it after departure or leave before its completion. The above cancellation fees are additional to fees which may be charged by accommodation, flight, and transport fees.

6. Cancellation by us

Our trip shall be guaranteed once we have a fully paid traveler unless minimum group size specifies otherwise. We reserve the right to cancel a trip at any time, due to terrorism, natural disasters, political instability or other external events when it is not viable for us to operate the planned itinerary. In such a situation, we shall transfer amounts paid to an alternate departure date or provide a full refund. We are not liable for incidental expenses incurred from your booking, visas, vaccinations, and travel insurance excess or non-refundable flights.  

7. Booking amendments 

Please notify us 15 days before if you wish to transfer from one trip to another or transfer the booking to a third party. A charge of ZERO [0%] per person per change will be applicable (in addition to any charges levied by hotels, transport operators, or airlines). Change in any other arrangements made will incur Zero administration fee per booking per change. You will not be allowed to change your booking arrangement 10 days before departure.

8. Inclusions/ Exclusions  

For more detail on what is included and excluded in the trip, please visit individual pages of each trip. All the services are as per the information at the website unless stated otherwise.

9. Age & Health requirements

A minimum-age-criterion has to be fulfilled to undertake many of the trips- please send us the detail information. If you are under the age of 10 a legal guardian must accompany the traveler. For further queries, please contact us. 

10. Passport and visas 

You are liable to carry necessary documents such as a valid passport for 6 months beyond the duration of trip, visas, permits, and certificates for the countries you are visiting. We are not accountable if you are refused entry because of failure to present the necessary documentation. 

11. Travel insurance

It is a must for travelers to have a travel insurance which includes medical coverage, air ambulance, and helicopter rescue services. You are suggested to take out cancellation insurance. You must be known that some policies do not restrict a cover for this type of travel. Please make sure that the policy is appropriate enough to provide the level of protection for the activities. Please carry a proof of insurance (your insurance certificate) with you during the trip.  

12. Flexibility

Please be known that, In Nepal Himalayas travel needs considerable flexibility and thus, you should consider alternatives. The route, schedules, itineraries, amenities, and mode of transport provided may change without prior notice due to unforeseeable obstacles.

13. Authority on tour

The group leader of the trip takes the final decision on all matters which may affect the safety or wellbeing of the travelers or staff members in the trip. If you fail to conform to the decisions made, you will be directed to leave the trip immediately with no right of refund. We may also not include you in any future trips. You must conform to the laws, customs, foreign exchange, drugs and agree to travel in accordance with our responsible travel guidelines. 

14. Risk & Liabilities

Our company is focused to provide you with the best services and perform duties sincerely to make the journey smooth and unforgettable. However, the entire journey is conducted under the country's rules and regulation.

Thus, Corporate Adventure Treks and its related organizations shall not be liable for any changes in the itinerary due to inevitable circumstances such as government restriction, road blockage, or political unrest. The traveler is responsible for any extra cost incurred from such an event. 

15. Health & Fitness

All the members are required to be physically fit. It is important to make sure that you are liable for necessary travel and health documents and additional medical charges before the departure. The participants of the trip are also advised to consult their doctor for necessary vaccination and medical examinations prior to the trip. The company is permitted to require a medical certificate prior to booking or departure of the trip.

16. Claims & complaints

In case of any complaints, please inform the group leader or the local representative for immediate rectification. If not yet satisfied, then send us the complaint in written format within 7 days of the end of the trip

17. Applicable law

In case of any disputes, the laws will be applicable under the Nepal Government which governs the Terms and Condition to the fullest extent.
