This package gives you exposure to Nepal's great diverse landscapes. First you will start by embarking on Nepal's most famous trek: Annapurna Base Camp Trek.  Then, we will take you down to Chitwan to see the jungle-like landscape, where we see completely different cultures than we did in the north.  We start our Annapurna Base Camp Trek  with a drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara and then another hour to Nayapul.  Annapurna Base Camp lies in the Western foothills of Himalayas.  It is one of the most glorious treks listed in the world. The appropriate time for Annapurna Base Camp trek is from September to November and from March to May. During the spring, the rhododendrons are blooming and during the fall, the skies are quite clear.  When you set your vacation for Annapurna Base Camp you truly feel the customs and traditions of the native people. So, it will be fruitful to spend some time on the way to experience their hospitality. Another incredible thing about Annapurna Base Camp is the varieties of rare animal species along with the native plant species. In one sentence Annapurna Base Camp is a dream land and once you visit there your dreams come true. Annapurna Base Camp is that beauty which cannot be described through words and is lying in the part of nature.  From the final village, the Chomrong, people can view the twin peaks of Macchapuchre which resembles a fishtail.

We then move onto Chitwan National Park for day.  We experience an elephant ride, and even have the opportunity to take a canoe ride in the river, surrounded by magnificent flora and fauna of the region.  It is an incredible experience that you will never forget.

The highlight of the Annapurna Base Camp Safari is visiting the heavenly gigantic Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Kali Gandaki from Poon Hill, as well as experience of different landscapes. The mixture of nice looking community, pastureland at Ghaundrug, hot spring. Annapurna Base Camp Trek with Chitwan National Park will give you lifelong memories full of experiences unlike any other.

Day 1

Jour 1 : Route vers Pokhara

It's about a 6 hrs drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara through the Prithvi Highway. The forest above the stream, waterfalls and the terraced hillside that can be seen are fabulous. Pokhara is a tourist town, beautifully located in the bosom of nature, surrounded by lakes. Overnight at hotel.

Point de départ

Kathmandu, Bagmati Zone, Nepal

Driving to Nayapul from Pokhara, the trek begins through the terraced hillside. It is bound within the Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP). A 3-hour trek leads you to Tikhedhunga, passing the paddy fields and enjoying the scenery of the Bhurungdi Khola. Overnight at lodge.

The trek begins by ascending the steep uphill trail for about a couple of hours to Ulleri. Then it goes through the rhododendron forest. After having lunch at Banthanti, the trail leads gradually to Ghorepani, a Magar dominated village, which is located at the middle of the rhododendron forest. Overnight at lodge.

Wake up to catch the early morning sunrise view over the snow capped Himalayas. It’s extremely breathtaking and the views of Annapurna, Manaslu, Dhaulagiri, Fishtail and the surrounding strike you. Hiking down to Ghorepani, have a breakfast and trek further to Tadapani Via Deurali and a lunch place at Banthanti. Overnight at lodge.

The trail is steep downhill from Tadapani, which leads you through the rhododendron forest. Crossing the stream, you climb to the next green hill ridge. Chhomrung is located on the wonderful terraced hillside, which is a large Gurung village. Overnight at lodge.

Following the river bank and with a continual up and down, you trek further to Himalaya from Chhomrung. On the way, you cross the landslide area and the rhododendron forest. The stone paved trail is easy to deal with but tiresome. We reach to the juncture of two streams, which is called Dovan and we take a rest. Overnight at lodge.

The spectacular views of the Annapurna chain can be seen perfectly. Then, trek to the Annapurna base camp, which is located at 4130 meters altitude, and is in the shape of a natural amphitheater. The Himalayan white peaks can be observed stunningly. Overnight at lodge.

The early morning sunrise view over the golden peaks seen are marvelous. Mt. Annapurna, Fishtail and the neighbouring peaks can be explored from the base camp. Then you trek down passing through the Fishtail base camp and through the downhill trail, you reach to Bamboo. Overnight at lodge.

It’s a continual climb down from Bamboo to Jhunu, including a few uphill sections. Jhinu Danda is the place you stay tonight, but Jhinu hot spring lies about 25 minutes walk downhill on the other side of the main trail. Natural hot spring is regarded as the best cure for various skin diseases. Overnight at lodge.

The trail descends steeply through forests to the village of Ghandruk where you will arrive around noon. You will stay overnight there so you can have the afternoon to visit the Annapurna Conservation Museum. Ghandruk is a settlement of the Gurung community so you can experience and learn about their lifestyle. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

After having breakfast you will drive to Chitwan from Pokhara. Arriving at Sauraha, you get to see the beautiful sunset and sight from Rapti River.
