Itinéraire

La région de l'Everest a été, et reste, le premier choix pour tous les amoureux de la montagne qui souhaitent faire un trek au Népal. Outre les paysages à couper le souffle des célèbres montagnes, le trek du camp de base de l'Everest vous offre également l'hospitalité chaleureuse et l'incroyable culture du peuple Sherpa, qui est le peuple le plus aimé et le plus célèbre du Népal parmi les étrangers et les alpinistes. Cette région est située dans le district de Solukhumbu au Népal. La partie inférieure de cette région s'appelle Solu et la partie supérieure s'appelle Khumbu. Votre trek se déroulera dans la zone du Khumbu de cette région, à moins que vous ne souhaitiez faire un trek plus long en commençant par Jiri ou Phaplu.

Vous commencez votre voyage par un vol de 25 minutes de Katmandou à Lukla. Dès votre atterrissage à l'aéroport de Lukla, vous serez accueilli par les visages chaleureux et souriants des Sherpas, par un temps relativement frais et par des aperçus de montagnes lointaines. À partir de là, le trekking commence et tout le voyage se fera à pied (des chevaux peuvent être loués si vous avez des difficultés à marcher). Alors que vous marchez à travers des collines verdoyantes entrecoupées de villages sherpas traditionnels, vous remarquerez immédiatement le calme et la paix qui règnent dans cette région. Vous n'entendrez que le bruit de la rivière qui coule en contrebas et le passage occasionnel de personnes et de mules/yaks. Après environ 4 heures de marche, vous atteindrez Phakding, où vous passerez la nuit. Le lendemain, vous marcherez vers Namche, le village le plus célèbre et le plus central de la région de l'Everest. Cette randonnée est relativement raide par rapport à celle de la veille, et elle le devient de plus en plus à mesure que vous vous rapprochez de votre destination. Entre les deux, vous passerez par l'entrée du parc national de Sagarmatha, qui se trouve dans un petit village appelé Monju. À partir de là, il n'y a qu'un seul village, Jorsalle, qui se trouve lui aussi à quelques pas de Monju. En dehors de cela, vous ne trouverez aucun endroit où manger ou dormir jusqu'à ce que vous atteigniez Namache.

Tout au long du chemin, vous serez surveillé par l'imposante présence du mont Khumbila (5 761 m), qui se traduit littéralement par "Dieu du Khumbu". Le Khumbila n'a jamais été escaladé car il est considéré comme une montagne sacrée. Il y a eu une tentative dans le passé, mais les alpinistes ont été tués dans une avalanche. Le célèbre gourou tibétain Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche) aurait médité à Khumbila et dans ses environs. Il faut environ 5 heures pour atteindre Namche, qui semble être situé dans le giron de Khumbila. Vous passerez deux nuits à Namche afin de vous acclimater. Namche est le village le plus développé de la région du Khumbu, vous aurez donc l'occasion de faire du shopping, d'observer la culture locale, de passer du temps avec les habitants et de participer à plusieurs activités amusantes. Cependant, ce n'est qu'après avoir passé Namche que vous découvrirez la véritable beauté des montagnes de cette région. Tout au long de la route, vous découvrirez des paysages incroyables, des montagnes à couper le souffle les unes après les autres. Il n'est pas exagéré de dire que si vous êtes un amoureux de la montagne, cet endroit est votre paradis.

Day 1

Arrivée à l'aéroport de Katmandou et transfert à l'hôtel.

Arrive at Kathmandu airport, where you will be greeted by our staff. You will then be transferred to the hotel. Stay overnight at hotel at Kathmandu.

Day 2

Vol de Katmandou à Lukla puis trek.

Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2886m). It takes around 30 minutes. than Trek from Lukla to Phakding (2640m). It takes around 3 hours. Stay overnight at Phakding. 

Day 3

Trek de Phakding à Namche Bazaar.

Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m). It takes around 5 hours. Stay overnight at Namche Bazar

Day 4

Journée de repos à Namche Bazaar.

Rest day at Namche Bazaar (3440m) for acclimatization. Look around Namche Bazar.  Enjoy the everest view go to Sherpa village Khumjung and know the sherpa culture. 

Day 5

Trek de Namche Bazaar à Tyangboche.

Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tyangboche (3867m). It takes around 5 hours. Stay overnight at Tyangbouche.

Day 6

Trek de Tyangboche à Dingboche.

Trek from Tyangboche to Dingboche (4260m). It takes around 5 hours. Stay overnight at Dingboche.

Day 7

Trek de Dingboche à Lobuche.

Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4930m). It takes around 5 and 1/2 hours.

Day 8

Trek de Lobuche au camp de base de l'Everest.

Trek from Lobuche to Everest Base Camp (5486m) via Gorakshep (5180m). It takes around 7 hours.

Day 9

Trek de Gorakshep à Kala Patthar.

Trek from Gorakshep to Kala Patthar (5545m), and then trek to Pheriche (4243m). It takes around 6 hours.

Day 10

Trek de Pheriche à Namche Bazaar.

Trek from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar (3440m). It takes around 6 hours.

Day 11

Trek Namche Bazaar via Phakding jusqu'à Lukla.

Trek Namche Bazaar via Phakding (2640m), Monjo to Lukla (2886m). It takes around 6 hours.

Day 12

Vol de Lukla à Katmandou.

Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu. It takes around 30 minutes. Stay overnight at hotel in Kathmandu, 

Day 13

Conduite de l'hôtel à l'aéroport international de Katmandou, puis envol.

Drive from Hotel to Kathmandu International Airport than fly back to your country.

1. THE CONTRACT:


Terms and Conditions between you and First Environmental Trekking (P.) Ltd. Registered Company. License No: 208/049. 


By booking a trip with First Environmental Trekking, you are agreeing the Terms and Conditions given below. Both parties agree to these Terms and Conditions to resolve any legal matters or other disputes that may arise during the trip.



2. BOOKING A TRIP:


By ‘trip’, we mean any activity, program, package, or service that you purchase from us, such as trekking, tours, hiking, expeditions, adventures, etc.


Your booking becomes valid only after the company sends a you a confirmation email or a confirmation invoice. Once the booking is confirmed by the company, the contract between the company and the client for that trip comes into existence.


The company reserves the right to change brochure prices for your trip before your booking is confirmed or after the end of your trip.


The company will not be liable to any warranty, collateral agreement, prior agreement, description of services, or conditions, other than as expressed herein.



3. DEPOSIT REQUIREMENT:


(a) Nepal Trips:


You will have to pay 25% of the trip cost as a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. You can pay the remaining amount upon your arrival in Kathmandu and before your departure for the trip. If the deposit is different from the one outlined in this clause, you will be notified by the company at the time of booking.


(b) India/Tibet/ Bhutan Trips:


If you book 21 days before the trip, you will have to pay only 25% of the total trip cost as a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. If you want the company to arrange your flights, you will also need to send the total amount for the airfares, along with the deposit. If the booking is made when there is less than 21 days left for the trip, full payment is due.


Payment Methods:

Booking deposit can be made by bank transfer or by Credit Card (Visa or MasterCard). Please follow the information provided on the booking form.

Please never make the mistake of sending the form details directly to Himalayan Bank. Please also send a copy of your passport or any ID copy along with the filled form. Note: There is 4% surcharge when you make the payment with a credit card.

Please note that we are not liable for any delay or loss during the transfer process. If for some reason the money received by us is less than the amount sent, you will be requested to pay the remaining amount upon arrival.


After you initiate the transfer, please send us the bank reference number or remittance slips. Often the bank sends the money under a different name. So having a reference number/remittance slips and sander details will help us identify who the sender is.



4. FINAL PAYMENT/ACCEPTANCE OF BOOKING/CLIENT DETAILS:


(a) Nepal Trips


For trips in Nepal, final payment can be made upon arrival in Nepal by cash, bank transfers, or credit cards (Visa or MasterCard). If you pay by cards, there will be 4% surcharge.


(b) India/Tibet/ Bhutan Trips:


For trips in India, Tibet, and Bhutan, final payment should be made 21 days prior to the starting date of the trip.


5. CANCELLATION BY THE CLIENT:


Any cancellation by the client must be made in writing and must be accepted by the company. The cancellation charges are as follows:


• If the cancellation is made 60 days or more before departure: Loss of deposit.

• If the cancellation is made 59-21 days before departure: 50% of the cost of services booked.

• If the cancellation is made less than 21 days before departure: 100% of the cost of services booked.


We recommend the client to take out cancellation insurance at the time of making the booking.


If you voluntarily leave a trip for any reason once the trip has begun, no refunds will be issued. There will also be no refunds on any unused services, accommodation, transport, sightseeing, or meals.


6. CANCELLATION OF A TRIP BY THE COMPANY:


• First Environmental Trekking (P.) Ltd. reserves the right to cancel any trip, including a guaranteed or confirmed trip, prior to departure due to reasons beyond its control (natural disasters, flight issues, wars, government intervention, etc.). If such a case occurs, the company will refund the trip price or offer you an alternative trip of same value.


• The company is not responsible for any incidental expenses or consequential losses that the client may have incurred as a result of the booking.


7. MEDICAL CONDITIONS AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:


If you have any medical conditions that may affect your travel, you must notify them in writing at the time of booking. Failure to notify the company that results in the client being refused travel and thus the cancellation of the trip will result in the client being charged 100% of the trip cost as cancellation fees.


Some trips may be unsuitable for certain clients due to physical or mental conditions. The client has the responsibility to find out, prior to booking, if the trip is suitable for him or her. The company will do its best to incorporate requests regarding individual health problems and other special needs; however, they do not form par of the contract and the company should not be held accountable if it cannot provide those requests.  The company is not required to provide any special facilities to the client unless it has agreed to do so in writing. 


The company does not take any responsibility for the standards of the medical facilities provided by the country you are visiting.


8.TRAVEL INSURANCE:


Travel insurance is compulsory for all travelers. The company reserves the right to cancel your trip or  certain part of your trip, with no right of refund, if you are unable to provide proof of insurance upon request.


9. FLIGHT DELAYS AND CHANGES IN THE ITINERARY:


In case of delayed departing flights for domestic flights, the company will meet accommodation (Guest House) and food (Lunch & Breakfast) costs prior to your trip. 


In case of delayed return flights for domestic flights, the client is responsible to bear all additional expenses, including food and accommodation costs. If you wish to make an alternative flight arrangements, all additional cost will be your responsibility.


The company will not accept any responsibility for costs incurred as a result of delayed or missed international flights. The company, however, will do its best to make alternative arrangements whenever possible. 


Also, please note that if due to some unforeseen circumstances, making changes to your itinerary and other arrangements become necessary, the company should be allowed to make those changes.




10. TRIP AMENDMENT:


If booking amendment is requested 21 days or more prior to the original start date for your trip, the company will make the necessary amendments with a charge of US$100 per person. If booking amendment is requested when there is less than 21 days left for trip departure, the company may or may not be able to make the requested amendment depending on the situation. The charge for making the amendment is also likely to be higher as the company will have to make new arrangements with other parties such as hotels and airlines.


11. PASSPORT & VISA:


Please ensure that your passport is valid for 6 months beyond the duration of your trip with First Environmental Trekking (P.) Ltd.


Visas for Nepal can be obtained upon arrival in Nepal. Visas for India will have to obtained from your own home country. The company can help arrange visas for Tibet and Bhutan if requested by the client. 


It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of the correct visa documentation necessary for the countries you are traveling to. First Environmental Trekking cannot be held responsible if you are refused entry to a country or a place due to incorrect visa documentation.



12. INJURIES, ACCIDENTS AND EVACUATION:


First Environmental Trekking (P.) Ltd. will not be liable for any injury, accident, or illness suffered by the client during the trip. As our package cost does not include any personal insurance, we advise the clients to take adequate insurance packages, including medical emergencies and evacuation by helicopter.



13. SERVICES MISSED OR UNUSED:


No discounts or refunds will be issued for missed or unused services. There will also be no discounts or refunds given for a premature termination of your trip, whether it occurs voluntarily or involuntarily (sickness, death of a family member, late arrival, etc.).


14. UPDATING OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS:


First Environmental Trekking reserves the right to make changes to these terms and conditions at any time. It is the responsibility of the client to keep abreast of any changes. The up-to-date version of Terms and Conditions will always be found on our website www.go2trek.com.
