At the appropriate time, you will be transferred to Adelaide train station for The Ghan journey

Step aboard The Ghan in Adelaide for your unforgettable adventure to the Top End. As the train leaves the city heading for the Flinders Ranges and beyond, it’s your chance to settle into your cabin and watch the changes in landscape from your very own window.

After arriving into Alice Springs and disembarking The Ghan, your small group tour with Outback Spirit will commence.

This morning, travel through the West MacDonnell Ranges. Stop to view Atila (Mt. Conner) before arriving at Ayers Rock Resort. Enjoy a leisurely drive to Kata Tjuta to take in a magnificent outback sunset, while enjoying sparkling wine.

Watch the sunrise at Uluru and then travel to Kata Tjuta and walk through Walpa Gorge. Later, visit the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Center and then tour the sacred sites around the base of Uluru. Continue to the sacred Mutitjulu Waterhole. Witness the striking color changes of Uluru at sunset before continuing to our exclusive barbecue venue, where you’ll dine from a delicious menu accompanied by a selection of beverages.

Embark on a journey through the desert plains towards Kings Canyon, starting with a cooked breakfast at Kings Creek Station. Explore the canyon’s rim on a 6 km guided walk, delving into its history, geology, and the diverse flora and fauna. Visit the Garden of Eden for breathtaking views across Watarrka National Park, with swimming off-limits. Opt for a leisurely Creek Bed Walk for stunning views of the canyon’s cliffs, or take an optional scenic helicopter flight for an aerial perspective (at your own expense). Enjoy lunch and a refreshing swim at Kings Canyon Resort, both at your own expense.

Today, you will be back in Alice Springs.
