Upon arrival at Cairo airport, you will be met by our representative, who will be waiting for you outside the arrival hall holding a sign with your name, then transfer you to your hotel (book it yourself). Our rep will help you settle in, then the rest of the day is free at your leisure. If your flight lands early, then you could take a first look at the pyramids with an amazing sound and light show, or perhaps head into downtown Cairo for a Nile dinner cruise and show (optional).

This morning, Egypt Gift Tours Egyptology tour guide will pick up you for a full day tour of the pyramids at Giza and Saqqara. Start in chronological order, as it were, by visiting the step pyramid of Saqqara; the first capital of ancient Egypt, this is the oldest pyramid in Egypt 4800 B.C, built by King Djoser, before exploring the famous pyramids at Giza.

Stop for lunch break (optional) then, continue visiting the Giza Plateau to explore the world famous pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, Myrcenes and Sphinx; these structures that have stood tall for 4500 years. Discover the beauty of the Sphinx, one of the largest monolith statues in the history of mankind, enjoy the views and take remarkable pictures. You'll find your local Egyptology guide a wealth of knowledge and full of enthusiasm about Egyptian history, and their country in general.

Back to your Hotel in Cairo. Then, around 7 pm, our English speaking driver will pick you up for the first class sitting train to Luxor or Aswan.

Take an overnight first class sitting train to Luxor or Aswan to start the cruise the next day, (It is available to upgrade to a sleeping train (dinner and breakfast included) with extra for the price difference; 90$ USD per person in double cabin for the sleeper train and 130$ USD per person in a single cabin).

Once in Aswan our licensed tour guide will meet and assist you at Aswan Railway station to be transferred by A/C van to your 5 stars Nile Cruise to check in before lunch. Have lunch on board. Then, start your tour by visiting the High Dam; achieved in 1960 to protect Egypt from the flood and generate electric.

Proceed to visit the Greco Roman Temple dedicated to goddess Isis using a small motorboat to get there. Later on, return back to your cruise for dinner, folkloric show, and Overnight in Aswan.

Note: If your arrival to Aswan is so early, so we will start the tour direct upon arrival since the cruise check-in time at 12:00 and we don’t want our guest to waste their time waiting at the lobby for check-in.

Around 4 to 4:30 am your guide will pick you up for Abu Simbel trip ( sharing a group in a bus or minibus). Arrive around 8 am, to visit one of the most impressive places in Egypt; the rock-cut temples of Abu Simbel with their unique design built for King Ramesses 2nd. and his beloved Queen Nefertari. This amazing site was completely dismantled and rebuilt when Lake Nasser was flooded.

Back to the Cruise by noon (around 2:30 pm) to have your lunch and sailing heading to Kom Ombo city, where to visit the amazing temple of Kom Ombo dedicated to two gods: Horus (the falcon god) and Sobek (the crocodile god). Also, you will get to visit the Crocodile Museum. Get back to the cruise and have dinner. Continue sailing to Edfu for overnight.

Around 5:30 to 6 am, enjoy Horse Carriage ride with your tour guide to visit the temple of Horus at Edfu which is considered to be the most complete and the best preserved of all the Egyptian temples. Return to the cruise to have your breakfast and start sailing. Relax on the deck watching the unique landscape and admire the beautiful scenery of the Nile river while sailing to Luxor. Cross Esna Lock, lunch on board and afternoon tea on the sundeck.

Late in the afternoon, arrive at Luxor dock, to be transferred to enjoy Luxor Temple on the East bank of Luxor; where ancient Egyptian, Christian and Islamic features are exhibited. Dinner on board and belly dancing show. Overnight in Luxor.

Note: if your arrival at Luxor dock by 3:00 or 3:30 pm, then we have chance to visit both Karnak and Luxor Temples but if it arrives a bit later, we will visit only Luxor temple.

Breakfast and check out to start your remarkable day by driving to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, where the pharaohs from the new kingdom carved their tombs in the mountains aiming to hide their treasure and protect their mummies.

Then to the Mortuary temple of the famous queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari. End your tour in the West Bank by a photo stop in front of the gigantic statues of Memnon. Lunchtime in a local restaurant (optional).

Then to visit the massive temple of Karnak. It was linked to the town of Luxor by a long sphinx lined avenue. Inside the large courtyard are three temples. The much photographed Hypo-style Hall has an impressive 134 towering columns, each is carved with scenes of gods and pharaohs, and hieroglyphic inscriptions cover the walls.

Then, to Luxor train station to take your evening first class sitting train back to Cairo

Pick-up at Giza train station to start a full day tour to Alexandria from Cairo. Drive for about 3 hours to Alexandria. Take your breakfast, then, start your day tour to the Egyptian Museum; home to the fantastic Tutankhamun exhibit, see his golden mask and many of the New Kingdom royal mummies, lose yourself in the many rooms and galleries full of thousands of artifacts.

Have lunch at a local restaurant (optional) before exploring some of the most famous churches in Cairo. Travel to the Hanging Church and the Church of St. George the Martyr. Both these churches were built into the walls of the Babylon Fortress and their remains could be Cairo’s oldest structures. Visit the Church of St Sergius next before driving back to your hotel.

Cairo’s Khan al-Khalili Bazaar is an essential Egyptian experience – lose yourself in the colors and aromas of this fascinating marketplace or have a chance to visit the famous Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali Pasha At Salah Al Din Citadel. (you need to choose either Khan Al Khalil Bazaars or The Citadel)
