Le temple sacré de Pashupatinath est l'un des temples et sites religieux les plus sacrés du peuple hindou. L'histoire de sa construction est également très intéressante. Dédié au Seigneur Shiva, il accueille des milliers de pèlerins le jour de Mahashivaratri, venus du Népal mais aussi de l'Inde. Vous pouvez assister à une cérémonie de crémation sur la rive de la rivière sacrée Bagmati ainsi que sur le temple. Le temple est généralement entouré de sadhus.

Ils sont un spectacle à voir en eux-mêmes en raison de leurs vêtements orange et safran, de leurs cheveux nattes et de leurs visages peints. Le stûpa de Swayambhunath, également connu sous le nom de "temple des singes", est l'un des plus anciens sites religieux du Népal. Le stupa de Bouddhanath est l'un des plus grands du pays. Programme du circuit

Day 1

Jour 1 : Arrivée à Katmandou.

As you land at Tribhuwan International Airport, one of our airport representatives from Escape Himalaya will be there to greet you and will help you get transferred to the hotel in Kathmandu. You do not have any other activities planned on this day, so you can just relax at the hotel; perhaps get to know the lay of the land. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2

Jour 2 : Visite de la ville de Katmandou et, dans la soirée, route vers Nagarkot.

This is the second day of your Nepal Discover Tours. You will get to travel around striking temples, old Royal Palaces and more which are enlisted in UNESCO World Heritage list. You will make a trip to Kathmandu Durbar Square, where we will notice several temples with unique arts. Visiting the Pashupatinath Temple, a major temple of Hindus dedicated to Lord Shiva; you can have a look around the area and get to know about the religious significance of the temple. The Bouddhanath Stupa, the largest stupa on Earth and the Swayambhunath Stupa, lying at the hillock and also named as “the Monkey Temple” will appeal you with their artistic and past glories. In the evening, we will drive to Nagarkot which is located 30 Km east of Kathmandu. Overnight stay at the hotel in Nagarkot.

Day 3

Jour 3 : Nagarkot - Bhaktapur - Patan - Katmandou.

We will wake up early in the morning to reach the viewpoint and witness the stunning view of the sunrise over gigantic Himalayan ranges like Dhaulagiri- situated on the west to Mount Kanchenjunga located on the east. After spending an absolutely breathtaking time witnessing the view of the sunrise over massive Himalayas, we will drive to Bhaktapur and explore the Bhaktapur Durbar square. At Bhaktapur Durbar Square, we can visit The National Art Gallery, The Golden Gate, the Palace of 55 windows, and the Taleju Temple; and passing by several Newar communities, you will reach Dattatreya Square and the Nyatapole Temple. After spending a wonderful time in Bhaktapur, we will drive to Patan and excurse and observe the Golden Gate, the Krishna Temple, Sundari Chowk and the Char Narayan Temple in Patan Durbar Square. The sites are historically and culturally extremely rich and opulent, and are quite captivating. Then, we will drive to Kathmandu. Overnight stay at Kathmandu.

Day 4

Jour 4 : Route vers Gorkha Durbar - route vers Bandipur, Distance : 200 km

From Kathmandu, we will on this day, drive to Gorkha Durbar. The twin structures of the palace located at the highest tip of the edge, propped by stone walls is just amazing. The doorway to the durbar is on the western side. After visiting this historical setting, we will drive to Bandipur. Bandipur is a charming settlement situated in the Himalayan foothills of Nepal. It captivates with its cultural uniqueness and perfect landscape.

This Newar settlement has preserved long-established culture and presents incredible views of beautiful landscapes. Overnight stay at Bandipur.

Day 5

Jour 5 : Route vers Pokhara, distance : 75 km

We will drive to the beautiful city of Pokhara, also named as ‘the Lake City’. We will pass along eye-catching views of terraced fields brimming with the plantation of rice and mustards, see wonderful panorama of Mount Manaslu, Lamjung Himal, Ganesh Himal and lots of other peaks. In Pokhara, we can go for boating in the beautiful Phewa Lake or visit several places of attractions like the Seti Gorge, Mahendra Cave, Gupteshwor Cave, Peace Stupa and more. Overnight stay at the hotel in Pokhara.

Day 6

Jour 6 : Visite de Sarangkot - route vers Tansen, Distance : 122 km

From Pokhara we will drive to Sarangkot to observe the beautiful sunrise views over massive peak ranges. On the southern side, the view of Pokhara city can be seen; we will also notice the Dhaulagiri Peak in the northern direction and if the weather is clear, Annapurna Range is also visible on the same direction. We will then drive to Tansen on this day. Tansen is a striking hill town set on the lap of the renowned Srinagar Hills. It is the headquarters of Palpa district and presents charming natural setting as well as its cultural heritages. Ranighat is one of the major highlights of Tansen, decorated by an amazing building on the shores of River Kali Gandaki, built in the memory of Tej Kumari by her husband Khadga Shumsher, the then governor of the district. Overnight stay in Tansen.

Day 7

Jour 7 : Route vers Lumbini, distance : 85 km

We will, on this day, drive to Lumbini from Tansen. It is the birthplace of Gautama Buddha. We will visit the World Peace Pagoda and also walk around monasteries of Teravadi and Mahayani Buddhism which are stretched transversely through the cannon. We will also visit the Mayadevi temple protecting the ruins of old temple walls and see the Ashoka Pillar which displays the messages explaining Emperor Ashoka’s visit to the birth place of Buddha. Overnight stay at Lumbini.

Day 8

Jour 8 : Route vers Chitwan pour un safari dans la jungle, Distance : 175 km

Leaving Lumbini, we will drive to Chitwan where we will experience an amazing jungle safari. Chitwan National Park holds approximately 68 species of mammals, 544 species of birds, 126 species of fish and more. Here, you may spot different kinds of Deers, Monkeys, Leopards, Rhinoceroses, Wild Boars, Sloth Bears and the Royal Bengal Tigers among a myriad of other exotic animals. In the evening, we can enjoy the Tharu Cultural Program. Overnight stay in the park.

Day 9

Jour 9 : Activités touristiques à Chitwan

We will experience jungle activities on this day. We can go for an Elephant Ride, have a village tour of Tharu settlements, have a jungle walk, Go on a Canoe Ride, do bird watching, visit the Elephant breeding center and more on this day. Overnight stay in the park.

Day 10

Jour 10 : Route vers Katmandou - visite du temple de Manakamana, Distance : 175 km jusqu'à Katmandou

We will drive to Kathmandu on this day and en-route; we will visit the Manakamana Temple. Manakamana Temple is believed to fulfill wishes as you pray to the Goddess. It is one of the important temples built in 17th century in the Pagoda style. Then, we will return back to Kathmandu. Overnight stay in the Lodge.

Day 11

Jour 11 : Départ

Finishing the tour, you will return back from Nepal. Escape Himalaya’s representative will transfer you to the airport. Then you will fly back.

General Booking Conditions

For Nepal, Tibet and Bhutan Tours: Provide us a photocopy of your passport and 20% of trip cost as a deposit while booking your trip with us. The deposit amount is nonrefundable.

Risk and Liabilities

All the Nepal, China and Bhutan Tours are conducted under the strict rules and regulations of the tourism board of the respective countries. We are not liable for any changes or cancellations of the trip under unavoidable circumstances like the change in rules and regulations of Country, Government restrictions, natural disasters, political instability and cancellation of flights, delays, sickness or accident and breakdown of vehicles. Any extra cost incurred due to such circumstances shall be borne by the clients themselves. Therefore, Travel Insurance is mandatory.

Last Minute Booking

We accept last minute bookings. You can book a trip to Nepal 7 days prior to the trip departure dates. Last minute booking may not be acceptable in the cases of Bhutan or Tibet Trips.

Postponing the Trip

A written notice should be sent to us 30 days prior to the trip departure date.

In case of postponing of Nepal Tour, minimum USD 150 will be charged as a current trip cancellation charge and the remaining amount will be transferred for the postponed trip.

In case of postponing of Tibet and Bhutan Tour, a trip cancellation charge will be charged as per the trending market rate of those countries. It solely depends upon the ongoing policy of our agents in Tibet and Bhutan. For now, 20% of trip costs and 50% of trip costs will be charged in case of postponing of Bhutan and Tibet Trip respectively.

Trip Cancellation (Nepal)

In case you intend to cancel your trip for any reasons, you need to write it to us 14 days prior to your trip departure date. We shall approve it as canceled only after receiving a valid written notice from the client. If the reason for your cancellation is genuine like injury or serious illness, you can postpone your trip or transfer your booking to another person who meets all the requirements for the trip. However, a fee of USD 150 per person will be charged if you postpone or transfer your trip within 15 days prior to your trip date. As per our policy, the deposit amount is non-refundable, therefore, you can utilize the amount to book a trip with Escape Himalaya next time.

Trip Cancellation (Bhutan)

A valid written notice of cancellation should be provided 30 days prior to your trip departure date. In case you cancel your Bhutan Tour, 20% of the trip cost will be charged as a cancellation charge (even in case of postponing or transfer of a trip to another person). The remaining amount will remain secured with Escape Himalaya as a deposit from you. You can utilize it to book the tour with Escape Himalaya next time. The amount is non-refundable.

Trip Cancellation (Tibet)

A valid written notice of cancellation should be provided 30 days prior to your trip departure date. In case you cancel your Tibet tour, 50% of the trip cost will be charged as a cancellation charge (even in case of postponing or transfer of a trip to another person). The remaining amount will remain secured with Escape Himalaya as a deposit from you. You can utilize it to book the tour with Escape Himalaya next time. The amount is non-refundable.

Incomplete Tour

We are not liable for any refunds in cases of any incomplete tour, trek or expedition whatever the reason.

Unforeseen Circumstances

If your trip gets canceled due to any unforeseen circumstances like natural disasters, war or unfavorable climatic conditions, we will arrange another trip for you. Thus, even if your trip isn’t the one you chose, your money will not go in vain.

Price Changing

We reserve our rights to change the price under various circumstances. Though our action will be reasonably pertaining to cases of some circumstances such as the drastic change in exchange rate, inflation, government actions, and others, we are not liable to answer to anyone for our action.

Travel Insurance

We highly recommend a comprehensive travel insurance package to all our clients. The insurance must cover all the medical expense, personal accident, emergency evacuation, and trip cancellation, loss of gears and natural calamity, theft of or damage to baggage and personal effects and helicopter services in the mountains.

Flight Delay/Cancellation

Flight delays and cancellation tend to happen quite often during bad weather conditions in remote areas, particularly in the Everest region, the Annapurna region, Dolpo, Simikot and Jumla region. Therefore, it is advisable to carry some extra money to buy food and accommodations in case of delays. Escape Himalaya will not be responsible for any of the additional expenses. Therefore, please plan accordingly.

Your Personal Belongings

We are not liable for any damage or loss of your luggage or property. They are at your own risk.

During the Tour

In case you commit any unlawful act during your tour and you are compelled to leave Nepal, Escape Himalaya is not liable for any kind of refunds.
