Day 1

Trabzon

1 DAY. TRABZON-SERA LAKE-HAYASOFIA-ATATÜRKS MANSION-UZUNGOL After meeting you at Rize & Trabzon airport, we go to Sera lake, the landslide set lake in Akçaabat. After having our breakfast in the Sera lake, we drink our tea and relieve our road fatigue. After resting for a while, we are going to visit an 800-year-old history. After visiting the Hagia Sophia Mosque, which was opened for worship in 2013, we go to the Atatürk mansion. We continue today with Uzungöl, which has become the symbol of the Black Sea. We spend time drinking tea in a samovar in Uzungöl, walking or cycling by the lake. After seeing Uzungöl from the terrace, we go to our hotel to stay. ACCOMMODATION : UZUNGOL

Day 2

Rize

2 DAYS. STORM VALLEY - ÇAT VALLEY -ZİL KALE - POKUT and SAL HIGHLANDS - AYDER Today, we are making a great entrance to the Eastern Black Sea Region from the Fırtına Valley. On our second day, we will absorb the Black Sea to the fullest, get to know the streams, plateaus, villages and Hemşin culture closely. We set out from the Çat valley to the depths of the Black Sea. During our journey, we have the opportunity to zipline and raft along the Fırtına valley. According to the weather and road conditions of the plateaus, we will go to the Pokut - Sal plateaus, one of the most beautiful places in Hemşin, which is foggy and cloudy with plenty of views. Before we go to the Pokut plateau, we visit Zilkale, which is along our route, and the village of Şenyuva. We will see historical bridges, streams and wonderful views during the photo and recreational breaks we will give along our route. ACCOMMODATION : AYDER HIGHLAND

DAY 3 KAMİLET VALLEY – DOUBLE BRIDGES – MENÇUNA WATERFALL – LOCAL FOODS – CALM CITY ŞAVŞAT – VIEW TERRACE We start the day with a nice breakfast. On the second day, Kamilet Valley, which is another natural wonder with its endemic vegetation. After reaching Arhavi from the coastal road, following Kapistre Creek, our first stop in the valley is the Historical Double Arch Bridge, one of the most beautiful examples of stonemasonry, located at the intersection of Kamilet and Soğucak streams. After the photo break on the historical bridge, we drive to the place where we will take a walk through the valley for a while. We arrive at the Mençuna Waterfall, which feeds the Kamilet Valley creatures, by walking with a mild to moderate difficulty. After cooling off by the waterfall, we enjoy the view with delicious highland tea. After the Mençuna waterfall, we descend from the waterfall for lunch to taste the most delicious local dishes of the Valley. Our next route is the quiet city Şavşat… Our journey, which continues with wonderful nature views, ends at Yavuzköy observation terrace, where we can watch the magnificent view of Şavşat. DAY 4 SAVŞAT – TIBET CHURCH – VELIKOY – LAKE FISH – NATURE WALKING – SAVŞAT KARAGÖL – SÜPRIZ After breakfast, we go to the historical Tibetan church, which is our first stop in the quiet city of Şavşat. After our guide informs us about the history of the church, we enjoy tea and coffee, where we can see the most beautiful examples and wooden houses next to the church and get to know the people of the region. After our sweet talk, our next journey is Veliköy, one of the quietest places in Şavşat. After Velikoy, our climb to the summits continues. Our route is the Balık and Şırata lakes at the foot of the Arsiyan Mountain. After arriving at the fish lake by car, we take a walk into the forest. We arrive at Şırata lake with a light-medium hike. Those who want to swim can swim in the lake, which changes the amount of water according to the season. If you want, you can enjoy it by cooling your feet in the water of the lake on the shore of the lake against Arsiyan. After the lakes, we have lunch that will make us forget our tiredness. After filling our minds with the sights on the roads and local food, we set out for the Sahara National Park. We pass to Şavşat Karagöl, which is a landslide set lake in the national park. DAY 5 MEYDANCIK – EGYPTIAN – PAPART – CURUPIRA – MACAHEL After waking up to a beautiful Şavşat morning, we set off to Macahel, an untouched geography, with a wonderful nature journey that will appeal to all our senses. On the Green road, which is our route, villages, streams, forests and plateaus await us respectively, we walk as much as we want, and we cool off in the streams as much as we want. At our leisure in Meydancık village, we came together with the local people and shared their experiences and stories. we will listen. Afterwards, we take the green road to Papart and Çurupira plateaus, respectively. At the peaks of the Çurupira plateau, 100 meters from our natural border with Georgia, we eat the local dishes of Georgian cuisine prepared for us, accompanied by a view. After the meal, our green journey continues, passing the villages of Macahel within Borcka borders and arriving at the hotel where we will stay. As a result of the referendum held in 1921, 12 of the 18 villages that formed the Macahel people preferred to stay on the Georgian side and 6 on the Turkish side. 6 DAYS. MACAHEL – MARAL WATERFALL – CAMILI VILLAGE – IREMIT MOSQUE - KARAGOL Our first stop after breakfast is the 63-meter high Maral Waterfall, Turkeys highest waterfall pouring from the only Crimea, with a magnificent view of the creeks coming from the Karçal Mountains. In addition to the pleasure of watching from a front that sees the waterfall from the opposite side, we go under the waterfall with those who want it. The descent is quite steep and it is necessary to descend carefully. We benefit from the benefits of being a group on the descent, which is mostly stairs with handrails. Everyone is helping each other. We invite the brave ones to the water, which is not actually cold, but is cooled by the effect of the wind because it pours from very high. We recommend you not to miss this beauty that you cannot experience anywhere else. Our bodies, which have cooled down with this experience, warm up as we climb the steep path we descended. After our waterfall tour, we will visit the oldest mosque of the region. İremit Mosque is a small but different mosque where woodworking and root paints meet. We think that your admiration for this magnificent mosque will increase with the interesting and historical information that our guide will tell. Our next stop is Camili village on the Georgian border and the Georgian border gate in the village. This border gate is a border crossing filled with stories, which is currently not allowed by normal citizens, but was used in the past due to heavy snowfall and the closure of the roads. After setting off for Borçka, we take a break for scenery and oxygen at the Macahel pass. While enjoying the view with breath therapy, we hope to be able to take as many wonderful photos as the fog and clouds allow. Our next stop is Borçka Karagöl, which was formed after the landslides. We take a nice walk around the lake with its wonderful view, taking lots of photos… After our Karagöl tour, we go to dinner. After dinner, we take the coastal road and go to the Tea Factory, which is the last stop of our trip. In the workshops where we can see the stages of tea, we learn the processes it goes through while reaching our tables and the brewing methods of black sea tea by seeing it on site. Unfortunately, after our visit to the tea factory, we are on our way to Trabzon & Rize Airport to bid you farewell.
