Día 2

Ciudad Ho Chi Minh: Túneles de Cu Chi, Museo de Restos de Guerra y Oficina Central de Correos

After breakfast, we’ll drive 1.5 hours to Cu Chi Tunnels. Upon arrival, read in silent homage in front of the historical monument and then follow your guide and crawl through the widened parts to experience the underground life. On the way back to downtown, enjoy a sumptuous lunch at Ben Nay Restaurant


In the afternoon, we’ll visit the War Remnants Museum, housing precious exhibits related to the First Indochina War (1946-1954) and the Vietnam War. Then, follow your guide to the time-honored Phuc Long Coffee & Tea to taste Vietnam's most renowned Saigon coffee. We’ll also visit two iconic French architectural structures: the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office. At last, your private guide and the driver will escort you to the hotel.

Ciudad Ho Chi Minh - Ben Tre - Crucero por el Delta del Mekong - Ciudad Ho Chi Minh

★ Boat on the Mekong River for a Taste of Local Life

Today, your guide will escort you on a 2-hour private car ride to Hung Vuong Wharf, where you’ll board a unique long-tail boat to tour the Ben Tre River. While sipping a cup of refreshing coconut juice we’ve prepared, observe the unique flora and fauna. To gain insights into authentic local life, your guide will accompany you to view verdant fruit orchards, a coconut candy factory, brick workshops, and a local family’s home. After that, take a 20-minute ride on a Xe Loi (three-wheeled motor vehicle) or bicycle to admire the idyllic countryside.


Enjoy lunch at a riverside restaurant, and taste fried elephant ear fish, a distinctive cuisine of the Mekong River. After the meal, enjoy a leisurely sampan tour through the narrow waterways before arriving in Ben Tre, where you'll disembark and return to Ho Chi Minh City by private car.

Today, your guide and the driver will escort you to the airport for a 1.5-hour flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, your local guide and the driver will pick you up and escort you to the Hoi An Ancient Town.

Your guide will accompany you to a high-end eatery to savor three must-try dishes: White Rose dumplings, Fried Wontons and Cao Lau.


After lunch, let’s start a walking tour at Hoi An Ancient Town, which boasts many Chinese and Japanese-style buildings, such as the Chua Ong Pagoda, which is dedicated to a loyal and brave Chinese general; Fujian Assembly Hall, first built for overseas Chinese gatherings; Tan Ky Old House, a wealthy merchant's residence passed down through seven generations; Japanese Covered Bridge, an iconic delicate footbridge built by Japanese merchants to connect Chinese communities; and Rehahn Precious Heritage Art Gallery. At last, after returning back to the hotel by our private car, you can stroll around on your own.

Viaje a Hue por el Paso de Hai Van, Visita la Ciudad Imperial de Hue y la Tumba de Tu Duc

Today, we’ll drive to Hue. En route, stop by the Hai Van Pass, Vietnam’s most scenic coastal road. Then, continue driving and arrive in Hue after about 3.5 hours, and check into the hotel.


In the afternoon, follow your guide to admire the Imperial City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Afterward, head to the Tomb of Tu Duc, the burial place of the fourth Nguyen emperor, his wife, and his adopted son. Finally, your guide and the driver will escort you back to your hotel.

Hue: Pagoda de Thien Mu, Mercado de Dong Ba y Tumba de Minh Mang; Vuelo a Hanoi

Today, follow your private guide to view the 400-year-old Thien Mu Pagoda. We’ve arranged a boat tour for you to reach the pagoda. Accompanied by your guide, embark on a private dragon boat and cruise along the Perfume River. On arrival, go ashore and stroll around the garden-like pagoda.


Getting out of the pagoda, let’s move on to Dong Ba Market, brimming with everything from daily essentials to fruits and street food. Afterward, visit the city’s best-preserved royal tomb, the symmetrically designed Tomb of Minh Mang, the final resting place of one of Vietnam’s most illustrious emperors.


At last, the driver will escort you to Hue airport, where you’ll board a 1.5-hour flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival, your local guide and the driver will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel for check-in.

At around 9:00, a join-in Hanoi cooking class tour begins! Your foodie guide will wait for you at the hotel and accompany you to a local market. Then, under the guidance of professional chefs, learn to cook several dishes based on the season. After the class, enjoy the food you made with additional dishes prepared by the chefs.


After lunch, your private guide will accompany you to visit Ba Dinh Square, a vital venue for gatherings and festivals. Pay homage to the esteemed founding father of modern Vietnam at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, and admire the adjacent Presidential Palace and his Stilt House for a deeper understanding of him. Afterward, drop by One Pillar Pagoda, a delicate Buddhist shrine built on a stone pillar in a lotus pond. We’ll also visit the thousand-year-old Temple of Literature. After the visit, the guide and the driver will escort you back to your hotel.

Crucero Hanoi - Bahía de Ha Long

After breakfast, your guide and driver will escort you on a 2.5-hour drive to Ha Long Bay Wharf. Upon arrival, board the cruise ship, and savor a sumptuous lunch onboard. In the afternoon, follow the cruise to explore the wonderland!

The five-star Indochine Cruise, decorated in a classical Vietnamese style with balcony rooms, will accompany you to explore Lan Ha Bay, where you’ll change to a kayak or sampan to paddle down beneath the archway of the Dark and Bright Cave (Bat Cave). 


The western-style four-star Signature Royal Cruise will escort you to Bai Tu Long Bay, where you’ll sail around the Vung Vieng floating village by kayak or bamboo boat to get a glimpse of the local community and learn about the pearl cultivation.

Today, be an early bird to practice Tai Chi on the deck, and enjoy a cup of morning tea or coffee and some snacks while enjoying the stunning sunrise over the sea. After refueling, explore nearby islands by kayak or sampan. If you are on the Indochine Cruise, head to the Trung Trang Cave in Cat Ba Island. If you are on the Signature Royal Cruise, view the Thien Canh Son Cave. 


After the enjoyment, return to the cruise ship for a sumptuous brunch as it makes its way back to the wharf, where your guide and the driver will meet you and escort you to Hanoi airport for your departure flight. Have a pleasant trip home! Please book your domestic flight after 16:00 or international flight after 17:00.

Booking Terms and Conditions

Thank you for your interest in our AgateTravel Global Tours. These Terms and Conditions are established to protect both our valued guests and AgateTravel in connection with all tour bookings. Please read them carefully and ensure you fully understand these provisions before confirming your reservation.

Reservation and Payment

  • Personalized Service: Upon receiving your tour inquiry, our professional travel consultant will respond promptly and provide you with dedicated one-on-one service. She will address all your questions, offer expert suggestions, and tailor tour proposals until you are fully satisfied. Once we receive your confirmation and deposit, we will proceed with all necessary reservations for your tour.
  • Deposit: A deposit of 20% of the total tour cost is required to confirm your booking. Your reservation will not be secured until the deposit is received. By sending the deposit, you agree to our Terms and Conditions.
  • Under special circumstances, a higher amount of down payment will be required to guarantee your flight or hotel reservations.
  • Final Payment: The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to the tour start date. For bookings made within 60 days of that date, full payment is required at the time of booking.

Cancellation and Refund

  • We understand that canceling a tour can be disappointing and sometimes unavoidable. To ease your concerns, AgateTravel offers a customer-friendly refund policy to minimize your losses.
  • The 20% deposit is non-refundable upon cancellation and shall be treated as a separate charge, not factored into any percentage-based cancellation fee calculation.
  • The following cancellation fees will apply to the remaining tour cost:

a. More than 45 days prior to the start date: No cancellation fee, only the tour deposit is retained.

b. 45 to 15 days prior: Cancellation fee is 50% of the total cost.

c. 14 to 8 days prior: Cancellation fee is 70% of the total cost.

d. Within 7 days prior or no show: Cancellation fee is 100% of the total cost.

Note: Third-party providers (including but not limited to ground operators, airlines, railways, hotels, and cruise lines) may impose their own cancellation fees. If AgateTravel's cancellation fee does not fully cover the costs levied by the third-party providers, the above cancellation percentage may be increased accordingly.

  • If you need to cancel your tour, please notify us by email or Tourradar dashboard. The refund will be calculated based on the date on which we receive your written cancellation notice. All refunds will be processed within 20 days of our receipt of your cancellation request.

Alteration of the Itinerary

  • For any changes made prior to the tour start date, no service fee will be charged. However, any additional costs incurred as a result of the changes (e.g., train, flight or hotel booking adjustment) will be at your own expense.
  • Once the tour has commenced, any extra expenses arising from client-initiated changes will be added to the total tour cost. Any unused services or portions of the tour are neither refundable nor exchangeable.

Tour Type

  • Private Tours: Our private guided tours are designed exclusively for you and your travel companions. Your group stays completely private on all land services, except for excursion portions of the cruises. You'll have your own dedicated guide and driver throughout the journey, along with the flexibility to coordinate daily departure times, sightseeing pace, and even meals directly with your guide.
  • Small Group Tours: Our small group tours provide a cost-effective, hassle-free travel solution while ensuring a rewarding experience for all participants. They offer an ideal combination of personal interaction, operational flexibility, and competitive pricing. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests, we reserve the right to decline or discontinue the participation of any passenger should their health, mental condition, physical infirmity, or general deportment impede the operation of the trip, or compromise the rights, welfare, or enjoyment of other passengers.

Passport and Visa

  • Please ensure that you have a valid passport and the appropriate visa before departure. For travelers who may be eligible for visa-free entry, we recommend confirming with your local Chinese embassy or consulate well in advance.
  • For multi-country tours, please check and comply with the visa requirements for each destination prior to departure.

Dietary Requirement

  • Please inform us of any food allergies you may have, and if you are vegetarian, please let us know whether you consume eggs, dairy products (such as cheese and yogurt), or fish.
  • Please also advise us of any specific food dislikes, for example, certain vegetables (e.g., peppers, onions, mushrooms, coriander), particular meats (e.g., pork, chicken, fish, lamb, beef), or any other ingredients you would prefer to avoid.

Additional Information

  • We strongly recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover unforeseen losses and damages, including baggage loss, flight delays or cancellations.
  • Please carefully review the terms and conditions of the flight tickets you purchased to ensure you are fully aware of each airline's policies.
  • Upon checking in at hotels, guests are required to offer a valid credit card authorization to guarantee payment of any incidental personal expense (e.g., laundry, minibar) incurred during your stay.
  • To help you better understand the quality of hotels included in our itineraries, we display star ratings for some hotels based on their facilities, services, and average review scores on major platforms. Please be aware that actual star ranking might be different from that of local regulations, independent third parties, or accommodation providers themselves.

Responsibility

  • Our company, parent company, and affiliated companies assume strictly limited liability in connection with our tour programs. As a tour operator, we organize, promote, and sell tour packages that include various travel services, such as guide service, land transportation, air and water transportation, excursions, and accommodations, which we purchase or reserve from third-party suppliers. All suppliers providing services for our tour programs are independent contractors and are not our agents or employees.
  • To the extent that we facilitate the booking of air and/or cruise transportation on your behalf, we act as your agent, not as an agent of the airlines or cruise companies. Nevertheless, we take responsibility for coordinating matters related to the willful or negligent acts of our partner travel agents with respect to land services.
  • We reserve the right to select the trains and flights arranged in your itinerary, and we guarantee that your tour will proceed as scheduled, subject to unforeseen delays or cancellations of flights or trains beyond our control.
  • We will take benefits or losses arising from fluctuations, whether higher or lower, in airfares, cruise fares, currency devaluation, taxes, or fuel surcharges after we have received full payment. We also reserve the right to correct any promotional or pricing errors, or to increase the tour price in the event of cost increases due to changes in airfares, cruise fares, currency devaluation, taxes, or fuel surcharges before we receive your full payment.
  • We are not liable for events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to force majeure events, acts of terrorism, political unrest, war, earthquakes, pandemics, epidemics, landslides, or delays and cancellations of trains, flights, or cruises. In such circumstances, we will make reasonable efforts to assist you.
  • We are not responsible for any unauthorized services arranged by clients directly with local agents, guides, or drivers beyond the confirmed itinerary. We do not accept liability for any additional expenses incurred for shopping, attractions, or destinations under such arrangements. However, we will assist our clients in communicating and coordinating with relevant parties should there be disputes.
