Viaje a Lindau

Arrive at Lake Constance and discover the town of Lindau at the gateway to the Allgäu. You will be amazed. Followed by your first overnight stay in Lindau
The starting point of your trip is Lindau on Lake Constance. Here, in the middle of the border triangle Germany-Austria-Switzerland, you start your sporty Lake Constance-Königssee tour. Along the Leiblach, which is also the border to Austria, you will ride your first kilometers quickly until you finally reach the picturesque Allgäu. Passing the small Allgäu villages of Hergenweiler, Maria-Thann, Röthenbach you will reach Oberstaufen. From there you will drive around the Staufner Berg, cross the valley of the Konstanzer Ach and on this way you will reach the Großer Alpsee, a beautiful place to take a break. Not only scenically, the Great Alpsee has a lot to offer, also for friends of water sports, the Alpsee is a true Mecca. Your route continues past the Kleiner Alpsee, across the Iller to the tranquil Immenstadt and on to Sonthofen.
Start in Sonthofen. From the Alpine town of the year 2005 again in a northerly direction to Burgberg in the Allgäu. At the foot of the Grünten massif with the 1730m high Übelhorn, you continue via the municipality of Rettenberg. From here the tour leads steadily uphill, past the idyllic Rottachsee, via Memersch, at about 1000m above sea level the highest point of the entire Lake Constance-Königsee cycle route. Via Oy-Mittelberg and Maria Rain you reach Nesselwang, situated at the foot of the Alpspitze. From Nesselwang you are accompanied by the fantastic panorama of the Allgäu Alps. With a view of the Zugspitze, as well as the Tannheim mountains, through green forests, you will pass Schweinegg and Zell until you reach the spa town of Hopfen am See. From Hopfen am Hopfensee you will continue to Füssen am Forggensee, the second largest town in the Ostallgäu region. With its historic old town, interesting museums and buildings, Füssen is particularly worth seeing. The road will take you to Schwangau and close to the world-famous Neuschwanstein Castle. The fairy-tale castle was built in 1869 under the Bavarian King Ludwig II and has been a tourist highlight in Bavaria for years, so it is definitely worth a visit.
Country lanes and small side roads via the Wieskirche and Wildsteig over to the Halbammer valley and down to Altenau. The route from Altenau via Saulgrub to Bad Kohlgrub impresses with its varied landscape. Passing the rustic Altenauer Moor, the route continues along lush green meadows and traditional villages, always accompanied by the imposing mountain panorama. From the Bad Kohlgrub moor spa, the route descends to Grafenaschau, at the foot of the Aschau mountains, to the Murnauer Moos and Eschenloher Moos nature reserves. Following the course of the river, the Loisach leads you to the Schwaiganger stud farm, which is one of the largest horse stud farms in Bavaria. You soon reach the picturesque Kochelsee. At the foot of the mountains, through the wet meadows of the Loisach moors, your route continues to Benediktbeuern with a view of the colossal Benediktenwand. The route continues past Bad Heilbrunn, between Blomberg and Stallauer Weiher, to Bad Tölz on the Isar, where traditional inns with their Bavarian specialties invite you to stop for a bite to eat.
The fourth stage leads from Bad Tölz along country lanes and side roads with gentle ups and downs to Greiling, Reichersbeuern and through Waakirchen. From here continue to Gmund am Tegernsee and via Hausham and Schliersee to Fischbachau. The route continues around the Wendelstein (1838m) and the mountains in front of it, through forests and fields down to the Mangfallebene and the Rosenheim region
From here, the route continues slightly downhill through the moss to Neubeuern / Altenmarkt am Inn. From Altenmarkt the route goes slightly uphill via Rohrdorf and a little later along the A8 to Frasdorf. From here it is not far to Aschau im Chiemgau. The route leads slightly downhill to Bernau, at the foot of the Kampenwand (1668m) and at the south-western end of Lake Chiemsee. The stage then runs between the mountains Hochfelln (1664m) and Hochgern (1633m) and the moors in front of the Chiemsee via Grassau to the village of Bergen without any major climbs. Between Bergen and Siegsdorf there is another small climb to overcome. Overnight stay in Siegsdorf.
Individual journey home or extension.
