Programa del tour

Día 1

Zagreb-Lagos de Plitvice

Your culture, nature and island car rental round trip begins with arrival at Zagreb airport. Pick up your rental car at the airport, we recommend a detour to the center of the Croatian capital Zagreb. A walk through the charming old town of Zagreb takes you through narrow streets, past modern boutiques, imposing buildings and a variety of restaurants, cafes and bars. Continue towards Plitvice Lakes National Park, where you will also spend the night. We recommend a cozy dinner with specialties of the Lika region at the hotel or in one of the local restaurants.

Today you will visit the most famous national park in Croatia - Plitvice Lakes. Go on a journey of discovery in the national park, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979. 16 turquoise-blue lakes flowing into each other, connected by breathtaking waterfalls and cascades await you. Walk or hike along the wooden footbridges past breathtaking nature. After an exciting day full of nature, your route now takes you to the coast of Croatia. Overnight stay in the Dalmatia Zadar region.

Welcome to an excursion paradise. There is so much to discover here, now you just have to decide whether you would rather go hiking in the Paklenica National Park, discover the salt pans of Nin and the charming little town, take a boat trip to the Kornati National Park, stroll through the old town of Zadar with its unique Sea Organ, plan a day trip to Sibenik and the Krka Waterfalls National Park or simply spend a day swimming on one of the beautiful pebble and sandy beaches.

After breakfast, drive along the coastal road towards Split. A first stop is in the pretty little town of Primosten. A fishing town with beautiful beaches, before continuing to the UNESCO Old Town of Trogir. At the end of the day, you can take a long walk through the narrow streets of the UNESCO Old Town of Split, combined with a lovely dinner. The ferry takes you to the island of Brac.

The island is known for its limestone deposits; even the White House in Washington was built from it. The island is particularly famous for its unique pebble beach "Zlatni Rat", which changes its shape depending on the wind direction. Enjoy a day of swimming on Croatia's most famous beach and stroll through the small town of Bol in the evening, admire the pretty stone houses and dine in one of the fish restaurants.

Today we take the ferry back to the mainland and continue along the coast towards Dubrovnik. Fancy a dip in the crystal-clear sea? No problem, the Makarska Riviera offers numerous beautiful beaches where you can stop for a swim. Passing the fertile Neretva delta, famous for its tangerine plantations, Ston on the Peljesac peninsula - known for its oyster farming and the longest defensive wall in Europe, the route continues to Dubrovnik. Overnight stay in Cavat.

Enjoy the unique UNESCO Old Town of Dubrovnik, walk along the famous city walls, past numerous churches, monasteries, palaces and historical monuments. Relax with a drink or a typical Croatian meal in one of the many cozy restaurants, or spend the last day of this trip unwinding on a beautiful beach.

On the day of departure, leave the rental car at Dubrovnik Airport, from where your return flight departs.
