Sandy coves and dragon caves
The other Mallorca still exists: picturesque, quiet bays with turquoise blue water and fine, white sand; the feast of colors, shapes and smells of the flowering meadows under the countless almond trees; monasteries and pilgrimage churches; castles and fincas dreaming in the sun - gems in the hinterland little touched by tourism. Spoiled by the climate, the plains and gentle hills of the island's interior and east coast are ideal for our cycle tours. Small sandy bays and pine-covered rocky coasts alternate with windmills, olive groves and almond trees along the cycle route.
Details of the rally Mallorca with charm
Speaking of suitcases - you don't have to worry about them during your tour. A rally with Eurobike means that you spend the entire duration of your trip in a hotel, from where daily excursions await you. You remain flexible in terms of the daily stages, as it is usually up to you to decide which day you would like to visit each destination. The luxurious Barefoot Hotel is located in charming Portocolom on Mallorca's east coast.
Five day stages take you through the Mondragó Nature Park to Cala d'Or, the historic town of Artà and the enchanting coastal town of Santanyi. Here you can take a break on the beach or stroll through the architecturally interesting old town. On the way to the famous dragon caves, you should take a break at the port of Porto Cristo. Consider climbing the Puig de Sant Salvador on the route to Fenalitx - the view is breathtaking!
The highlights of the Mallorca trip with charm
Mallorcan culture and cuisine: enjoy the Mediterranean flair and delicious island cuisine to the full. Do you know Arroz Brut, Pa amb Oli and Sobrasada? Find out - accompanied by Mallorcan wine and a slice of almond cake for dessert.
The dragon caves near Porto Cristo: The Coves del Drac form the largest cave system on Mallorca. The stalactite formations are particularly mystical. The crystal-clear Martel Lake in the cave, which can be crossed by boat, is breathtaking.
Mondragó Nature Park: The bay of Mondragó could easily be mistaken for the Caribbean. Sparkling, turquoise sea and the finest white sand create a paradisiacal spot.
Interesting facts about the rally with charm
Cycling on Mallorca is characterized by fantastic views, historic architecture and the warmth of the locals. The route is always hilly, but can be easily mastered with a bit of fitness. The tour to Fenalitx is the most challenging of the entire trip. After your daily breakfast at the Barefoot Hotel, you start the 35 to 55-kilometre stages well fortified and equipped.
