­ Your journey begins in the morning as you depart from Bucharest together with your professional English-speaking guide.

The first stop is the historic town of Curtea de Argeș, the former capital of Wallachia. Here you will visit the beautiful Curtea de Argeș Monastery, one of Romania’s most important religious landmarks and the burial place of Romanian kings.

We then continue towards the spectacular Transfăgărășan Road, one of the most scenic mountain drives in Europe. As we travel through the dramatic landscapes of the Carpathian Mountains, we will make several photo stops to admire the breathtaking scenery.

At the highest point of the road we reach Bâlea Lake, a stunning glacial lake surrounded by mountain peaks.

During the day there will be time for a relaxing coffee break and lunch stop in a scenic location.

In the evening we arrive in Sibiu, one of the most charming medieval cities in Romania. Your guide will lead a short walking tour through the historic center, followed by free time to explore the lively squares, enjoy dinner, or browse local shops and souvenirs.

After breakfast we travel to the impressive Corvin Castle, one of the largest and most spectacular Gothic castles in Europe.

Explore this fascinating medieval fortress together with your guide and learn about the legends connected to Vlad the Impaler and the powerful Corvin family.

Next we continue to the historic city of Alba Iulia, home to the impressive Alba Carolina Fortress, one of the best preserved Vauban-style citadels in Europe.

Enjoy a guided walk through the fortress, followed by free time for lunch, coffee or a relaxing stroll through the historic squares.

In the afternoon we return to Sibiu, where you will again have free time to explore the charming old town, relax at a café, or do some shopping in the pedestrian streets.

Today we travel to Sighișoara, one of the most beautiful and well-preserved medieval towns in Europe and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

During a guided walking tour, your guide will show you the highlights of the citadel, including the famous Clock Tower and the birthplace of Vlad the Impaler.

After the guided visit you will have free time to explore the colorful streets of the citadel, enjoy a coffee in the medieval square, or browse traditional artisan shops.

Later we continue to Brașov, a picturesque city surrounded by mountains.

Here your guide will lead a short walking tour of the historic center, including Council Square, the Black Church and Rope Street, one of the narrowest streets in Europe.

You will then have free time to enjoy dinner, relax at a café or explore the charming streets of the old town.

After breakfast we visit the famous Bran Castle, often referred to as Dracula’s Castle.

Perched dramatically on a rocky hill, the castle is surrounded by mystery and legend. Your guide will share the fascinating stories behind the Dracula myth and the history of the fortress.

After the visit there will be free time for souvenir shopping at the traditional market near the castle.

We then continue to the elegant mountain resort of Sinaia, home to the spectacular Peleș Castle, considered one of the most beautiful castles in Europe.

Enjoy a guided visit of the castle and time to relax, take photos or enjoy a coffee in the mountain setting.

After a lunch break we return comfortably to Bucharest, concluding an unforgettable journey through Transylvania.
