Itinerario

El Trekking del Circuito del Manaslu es una combinación de bellas cordilleras, cultura diferente, estilo de vida único y hermosos paisajes. Comenzamos nuestro viaje con visitas a distintos lugares de Katmandú declarados Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO. Al día siguiente nos dirigiremos a Arughat Bazar, desde donde comenzaremos nuestra ruta de senderismo. Esta ruta de trekking sigue el río Budi Gandaki y rodea el monte Manaslu (8.156 metros). Es una subida empinada hasta el paso de Larkya La (5.160 metros, el punto más alto de la ruta) y una bajada empinada hasta el final. Esto hace que el paisaje sea muy variado y la ruta razonablemente difícil. Debido a los rápidos cambios de altitud, necesitamos aclimatarnos adecuadamente, por lo que la subida requiere tiempo y no hay que precipitarse. En este viaje nos recompensan los hermosos paisajes y el maravilloso estilo de vida tibetano junto con el mágico escenario montañoso. Tras el trekking, regresaremos a Katmandú.

Día 2

Recorrido turístico por el Templo Pashupatinath, el Templo Boudhanath y el Templo Swoyambhunath

Nuestra visita a la ciudad incluye los lugares Patrimonio de la Humanidad de Pashupatinath, uno de los templos de Shiva más famosos de toda Asia, donde conocerás a ascetas hindúes que han renunciado a todas sus posesiones; Bouddhanath, el espectacular y sereno centro del budismo tibetano en Nepal, con corrientes de banderas de oración ondeando al viento; y Swayambunath, el Templo de los Monos encaramado en una colina que domina el valle de Katmandú, con vistas panorámicas de la ciudad.

Día 3

En coche de Katmandú a Soti Khola

Por la mañana, iniciaremos nuestro viaje por Soti Khola. Por el camino, podremos ver el paisaje cambiante, las laderas en terrazas y los pueblos al borde de la carretera a medida que salimos del valle de Katmandú hacia el noroeste.

Trekking de Soti Khola a Machha Khola

Seguimos el río hasta Machha Khola. Machha Khola que es un pueblo llamado así por el pequeño arroyo que hay debajo, con buena pesca.

Día 5

Travesía de Machha Khola a Jagat (altitud: 1.410 metros; duración de la travesía: 7 horas)

Empezamos el día con algunas subidas y bajadas cortas, y nos dirigimos río arriba hacia el diminuto pueblo de Khola Bensi y las fuentes termales que brotan de las rocas dan nombre a este pueblo, Tatopani, que significa agua caliente en nepalí. Luego subimos por una escalera de piedra por una cresta hasta Doban, que se encuentra en la confluencia de dos ríos, uno que fluye desde el este y otro desde el oeste. Nuestro campamento está aún más adelante, en un amplio campo llano cerca del río Budhi Gandaki. Desde Jagat entramos en el Área de Conservación del Manaslu.

Día 6

Caminata de Jagat a Deng (1860 metros)

Caminamos a través de laderas en terrazas por un sendero ondulado. Cruzamos el río por un puente colgante en Nagjet y volvemos a cruzarlo para subir a Nyak. Desde aquí, la ruta continúa hasta el pueblo gurung de Deng (1860 m), un magnífico mirador de los picos del Shringi Himal al noreste.

Día 7

Caminata de Deng a Namrung

Descendiendo hacia el río, cruzamos a la orilla este antes de continuar hacia el norte. Atravesamos una sección muy dramática del desfiladero cuando el río gira hacia el oeste y llegamos a la aldea bhuddista de Ghap (2040 m). Cruzando ahora a la orilla sur, continuamos hasta Namrung (2630 m).

Día 8

Ruta de Namrung a Lho (altitud: 3.180 m/10.430 pies; duración de la ruta: 4 h)

Desde Namrung, entramos de nuevo en la región de influencia budista. Ascendiendo de forma constante entramos en la zona alpina y obtenemos nuestras primeras vistas del Manaslu Norte. Sube por el bosque hasta Lihi. Disfruta de la espectacular ascensión del Ganesh Himal. Desciende hasta Lho. Otra subida empinada nos lleva a nuestro campamento de hoy en una cresta.

Día 9

Caminata de Lho a Samagaon (altitud: 3.530 m/11.578 pies; duración de la caminata: 5-6 h)

Hoy bajamos por el sombreado bosque de abetos rodeados por los picos nevados del Kutang Himal al noreste y el Manaslu al suroeste. Una corta subida a una meseta y pasamos por el pueblo de Shala antes de llegar a Sama Gaon (3520 m), que tiene una Gompa con impresionantes vistas del Manaslu. Enormes montañas nos rodean, Himal Chuli y el Pico 29 (Ngadi Chuli) a la izquierda, Manaslu y grandes glaciares de frente, otras cumbres nevadas a la derecha, en el extremo del valle del que acabamos de salir se alza Ganesh Himal. En el extremo del pueblo, dominando el valle, se alza el conocido monasterio de Sama. Sama Gaon es un pueblo habitado principalmente por tibetanos y se encuentra al pie del Manaslu.

Día 10

Caminata de Samagaon a Samdo (altitud: 3.860 m/12.660 pies; duración de la caminata: 4-5 horas)

Desciende hasta el Budi Gandaki, que ha girado hacia el norte, y síguelo hasta un puente sobre un arroyo lateral. El sendero de la izquierda lleva al campamento base del Manaslu. El sendero de Larkya la pasa por varias paredes de mani a medida que el valle empieza a ensancharse. Es un sendero fácil en una repisa por encima del río que pasa por los bosques de enebros y abedules de Kermo Kharka. Descendemos de la repisa, cruzamos el Budhi Gandaki por un puente de madera y subimos empinadamente a un promontorio entre dos bifurcaciones del río. En la cima hay un arco de piedra, seguido más tarde por un kani blanco a la entrada de Samdo: un pueblo de casas agrupadas enclavado tras una cresta. Un paseo por la tarde hasta un mirador en el Pana Danda (en un paso hacia el Tíbet); o mejor, hacia el Pico Samdo, al noreste, ofrecerá las mejores vistas del Manaslu.

Día 12

Caminata de Samdo a Dharamsala/Larkya B. C. [4460 m/14, 628 pies]: 4 - 5 horas

Continuamos nuestro camino por la ladera, cruzamos el puente de madera sobre Budi Gandaki y comenzamos a caminar hacia arriba. Cruza dos arroyos y presencia el glaciar Larkya. Rodeamos el valle del Salka Khola y volvemos a subir para llegar a la casa de huéspedes de piedra (4450 m), que es una especie de refugio llamado Dharmshala, también conocido como Larkya Phedi. Hoy acamparemos aquí y descansaremos para prepararnos para cruzar mañana el famoso y más esperado Paso de Larkya.

Día 13

Senderismo desde Dharamsala - Larkya la [5160 m/16, 924 pies] - Bimthang [3720 m/12, 201 pies]: 8 - 9 horas

Tras un comienzo temprano, pronto caminamos por las morrenas del glaciar, realizando un ascenso gradual que se vuelve más empinado sólo en el último tramo hasta el paso. Desde el paso, hay unas vistas excepcionales del Himlung Himal, el Cheo Himal, el Kangguru y el enorme Annapurna II. Saborea las espectaculares vistas desde la cima del paso. Es un día más largo de lo habitual hasta Bimthang, pero para adentrarse en estos pastos bajos con la niebla vespertina entrando y el Manaslu.

Día 14

Senderismo de Bimthang a Tilije [2300 m/7544 pies]; Tiempo de marcha: 5-6 horas)

Hoy descenderemos una gran altura. Al principio, desde el valle de Burdin Khola, a través de bosques de rododendros, hasta Karche, el lugar de cultivo más alto del valle. Después descenderemos hasta la aldea de Gho. Mientras permanecemos en la orilla norte del río, nos adentramos en Tilje.

Día 15

Senderismo de Tilije a Tal [1700 m/5576 pies]: Tiempo de caminata: 5-6 horas)

El resto de nuestro recorrido sigue senderos utilizados en los primeros días de la Travesía del Circuito del Annapurna. Descendemos hasta el río Marsyandi y cruzamos el puente colgante. Subimos alejándonos del río y caminamos por un valle amplio y llano hasta el pueblo de Tal (1.675 m), situado al pie de una gran cascada. Pasaremos la noche: Albergue en Tal

Día 16

Senderismo de Tal a Syange [1080 m/3542 pies]: Tiempo de caminata: 4 horas)

El sendero continúa hasta Chyamje. Desde Chyamje, subiendo y bajando a lo largo del río, llegamos a Jagat. Un sendero empinado desciende desde Jagat a través del valle de Marshyangdi. Cruzamos el río Marshyangdi en Syange, donde termina nuestro trekking.

Día 17

Viaje de Syange a Katmandú ( 8-9 horas )

Pasarás la última noche en Katmandú en una cena de despedida compartiendo fotos recordando las emociones del viaje e intercambiando correos electrónicos en uno de los restaurantes tradicionales nepalíes.

1. THE CONTRACT:

Please go through the following Terms and Conditions that govern the relationship between you (client) and Eve Holidays (P) Limited (hereinafter referred as "The Company"), Registered Company Number 179950. Please note that while booking a trip, you are agreeing to be bound by the Terms and Conditions as well as the cancellation policy and certain limitations of liability. Both parties agree to these Terms and Conditions to resolve any legal or other disputes that may arise during the trip.

 

2. BOOKING A TRIP:

A 'trip' refers to any product itinerary or activities that you buy with us including Trekking, Tours, Expeditions, and/or other adventure and tour programs.

A booking is accepted and becomes definite only from the date when the Company sends a confirmation invoice or email. It is at this point that a contract between the Company and the Client comes into existence.

Before your booking is confirmed and a contract comes into force, the Company reserves the right to increase or decrease brochure prices.

Please note that the company would not be liable to any warranty, collateral agreement, prior agreement, description of services, or conditions, other than as expressed herein.

 

3. DEPOSIT REQUIREMENT:

(a) Nepal Trips:

For Nepal Trips, you will have to make a non-refundable deposit of 25% of trip cost at the time of booking the trip. You can pay the remaining amount upon your arrival in Kathmandu and before the trip departure.

The non-refundable deposit should be sent to the Company or its Agent. The Company's Tailor Made trips may require a higher deposit or full payment at the time of booking. If deposit is different from that outlined in this clause, you will be advised by the company at the time of booking.

 

(b) India/Tibet/ Bhutan Trips:

At time of booking a non-refundable deposit of 25% is due along with due airfares (if client wants the company to arrange it) before 21 days of trip departure. If you're booking 21 days or less prior to departure, full payment is due.

 

Payment Methods:

Booking deposit can be made by bank transfer or by Credit Card (Visa or MasterCard). Please follow the information provided on the booking form.

Please note that we are not liable of any delay or loss during the transfer process. If in case due to use of mediator bank or any other reasons if the money received by us is less than the amount sent, you are requested upon arrival to pay accordingly so that the total is equivalent to the product cost.

E-mail us the bank reference number or remittance slips after you initiate the transfer. Sometimes bank forwards the money with different name; if we have reference number/remittance slips and sender details, it will be easy for us to check.

 

4. FINAL PAYMENT/ACCEPTANCE OF BOOKING/CLIENT DETAILS:

(a) Nepal Trips

Final payment on trekking, tours, climbing, expedition or any kind of trips in Nepal can be made upon arrival in Nepal. Final payment can be made by bank transfer, cash or by Credit Card (Visa or MasterCard). There is 4% surcharge when the payment is made by cards (this applies to all payments; deposits, final balances, trip extension and miscellaneous purchases.)

 

(b) India/Tibet/ Bhutan Trips:

Regarding trips in India, Tibet, Bhutan; final payment should be made 21 days prior to the trip start date.

 

5. CANCELLATION BY THE CLIENT:

Any cancellation by a Client must be made in writing and acknowledged by the Company. The date on which the request to cancel is received by the Company or its Agents will determine the cancellation charge applicable.

• The cancellation charges are expressed hereafter as a percentage of the total tour price

• Cancellation 60 days or more before departure: Loss of deposit.

• Cancellation 59-21 days before departure: 50% of cost of services booked.

• Cancellation less than 21 days before departure: 100% of cost of services booked.

The Client is strongly advised to take out cancellation insurance at the time of making the booking.

Please note that no refunds will be made if you voluntarily leave a trip for any reason after the trip has begun. No refunds will be made for any accommodation, transport, sightseeing, meals or services not utilized.

 

6. CANCELLATION OF A TOUR BY THE COMPANY:

• The Company reserves the right to cancel any trip you booked unless guaranteed to run.

• Eve Holidays reserves the right to cancel any trip, including a guaranteed trip, prior to departure due to reasons beyond its control (i.e. due to natural disasters, flight cancellation, consequences of strikes, industrial action, wars, riots, sickness, quarantine, government intervention, weather condition etc. In such a case, Eve Holidays will refund the trip price only. If The Company cancels a departure which is guaranteed to run, we will refund the trip price, or you are entitled to take an alternative trip of the same value.

Please also note that significant alterations do not include a change of airline carrier, flight time tables or itineraries provided the departure and arrival dates remain unchanged, the substitution of a vessel, modification of itineraries, and change in cabin category or hotel accommodation provided it is of the same category.

• The Company is not responsible for any incidental expenses or consequential losses that the Client may have incurred as a result of the booking such as visas, vaccinations, non-refundable flights or rail, non refundable car parking or other fees, loss of earnings, or loss of enjoyment, etc

 

7. MEDICAL CONDITIONS AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

The Company must be notified in writing at the time of booking of any medical conditions, physically challenged conditions or any other mental and or physical condition which may affect fitness to travel and or any medical condition. Failure to notify the Company may result in the client being refused travel. Failure to notify the Company of any such condition that results in cancellation will result in 100% cancellation fees to the Client.

Some trips may be unsuitable for Clients due to age, mobility, pregnancy or physical or mental conditions. It is the Client's responsibility to check prior to booking. The Company is not required to provide any special facilities unless it has agreed to do so in writing. The Company will do its best to meet Clients special requests including dietary, but such requests do not form part of the Contract and therefore the Company is not liable for not providing these requests.

Medical facilities vary from country to country and the Company makes no representations and gives no warranties in relation to the standard of such treatment.

 

8. TRAVEL INSURANCE:

Adequate and valid travel insurance is compulsory for all travelers. Your travel insurance must cover accidents, injury, illness and death medical expenses, including any related to pre-existing medical conditions, emergency repatriation (including helicopter rescue and air ambulance where applicable) and personal liability. The Company also recommends it covers trip cancellation, curtailment and loss of luggage and personal effects. You must carry proof of insurance with you and produce it if reasonably requested by the company employees or suppliers. The company reserves the right to cancel or suspend your participation on a trip or in certain activities that comprise part of a trip, at any time, including after the commencement of your trip, with no right of refund, if you are unable to provide proof of insurance when requested.

 

9. FLIGHT DELAYS AND CHANGES IN THE ITINERARY:

Please note that mountain adventures are always unpredictable. Bad weather in mountain regions can cause domestic flight delays. In case of delayed domestic flights, Eve Holidays will meet departing city accommodation (Guest House) and food (Lunch & Breakfast) costs prior to your trip. However in case of delayed return flights, the client is responsible to bear all additional expenses including food and accommodation costs. If you wish to make an alternative arrangements such as Helicopter flight to avoid flight delays, all additional cost would be your responsibility.

Moreover, Eve Holidays does not accept any responsibility for costs incurred as a result of missed international flight, but would assist to make alternative arrangements wherever possible. Please also note that while on the field, we may have to make some changes in the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances.

 

10. TRIP AMMENDMENT:

If the booking amendment request is received by Eve Holidays 21 days or more prior to your original trip departure, the company will make the necessary amendment with a charge of US$100 per person. In case you wish to make amendments within 21 days of the trip departure, the cost of amendment may be higher depending upon the company's arrangements with other parties such as hotels, Guest Houses, ground operators or airlines

.

11. VISA & PASSPORT:

You must carry a valid passport and have obtained the appropriate visas when traveling with Eve Holidays. Please ensure your passport is valid for 6 months beyond the duration of the trip. Nepal Visa is available on arrival in Nepal. For Tibet & Bhutan, the company can make necessary arrangements upon request. For India, the client will have to acquire the Visa from their own home country.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of the correct visas for the countries you are traveling to. Eve Holidays cannot accept responsibility if you are refused entry to a country or places because you lack the correct visa documentation.

 

12. INJURIES AND EVACUATION:

Eve Holidays would not be liable for any injury/health conditions/emotional or other conditions suffered by the client during the trip. Similarly, our package cost does not include any personal insurance. Hence, we advise the clients to take adequate insurance packages, including medical emergencies and evacuation by Helicopter.

 

13. SERVICES MISSED OR UNUSED:

There will be no discounts or money refunded for missed or unused services, this includes voluntary or involuntary termination/departure from tour, i.e. sickness, death of a family member etc, late arrival on the tour, or premature departure either voluntarily or involuntarily.

 

14. UPDATING OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

The Company reserves the right to update and amend these terms and conditions at anytime. It is the responsibility of the Client to keep updated with any changes. The current version of terms and conditions will always be found on the website www.eveholidays.com and will be the terms referred to in any dispute.
