Itinerario
El monte Meru es la segunda montaña más alta de Tanzania, con 4.566 metros; sólo el Kibo y el Mawenzi (los picos más altos del macizo del Kilimanjaro) se elevan más hacia el cielo. La montaña se formó por la actividad volcánica del Valle del Rift de África Oriental. Hace unos 250.000 años, todo el flanco oriental del volcán fue arrasado por un violento estallido, un espectáculo impresionante hasta el día de hoy.
La montaña está situada en medio del Parque Nacional de Arusha, por lo que la caminata del primer día tiene un encanto especial. En las tierras bajas de la montaña, acompañado por un guarda forestal, verás babuinos, búfalos, jirafas y otros animales salvajes. El ascenso te lleva a través de varias zonas de vegetación, desde la pradera hasta la selva tropical, y a través del brezal y el páramo hasta el desierto alpino. Una gran montaña, que se alza injustificadamente a la sombra del Kilimanjaro.
El Meru es técnicamente más difícil que el Kilimanjaro y requiere una buena condición física: los últimos 1000 metros son bastante empinados. Sin embargo, no se requieren conocimientos de escalada.

Cancellation of a booking or failure to join a tour will result in a retention of funds by Almighty Kilimanjaro. as follows: Upon receipt of written cancellation by any member of the tour indicated on this reservation 30 days or longer prior to departure, 20% of the reservation of the canceling party will be retained by Almighty Kilimanjaro and the balance of the package price refunded. If a cancellation is received at least 14 days and up to 29 days prior to departure, 50% of the package price will be retained by Almighty Kilimanjaro . If a cancellation is received less than 14 days prior to departure, 100% of the total package price will be retained by Almighty Kilimanjaro . and all outstanding payment will become payable immediately. Should the canceling party be able to find a replacement for themselves no less than 14 days prior to departure and the replacement completes this booking form individually, no retention of funds will take place. However, should no replacement be found by 14 days prior to departure, a 100% cancellation penalty will apply to the canceling party. Almighty Kilimanjaro . and its agents reserve the right to terminate, at their discretion and with immediate effect, the participation of any person on the tour.
