CAMINATA AUSANGATE + MONTAÑA ARCO IRIS (VINICUNCA) 6 DÍAS:

La montaña Ausangate está considerada la montaña más sagrada de la región de Cusco. Combina este sendero especial con la montaña del Arco Iris, aún por descubrir, y te embarcarás en un viaje que recordarás toda la vida.

Pasa los días empapándote de las enormes cumbres, y las noches disfrutando de las estrellas. Nuestros guías atenderán tus necesidades y te explicarán todo sobre el paisaje que te rodea.

Día 1

Cusco - Tinqui - Upis

Distancia: 8km/ 3 millas Elevación: 3800m- 4200m Tiempo de caminata: 2-3 horas Campamento: 4200 m/ 13.780 pies Tu guía se reunirá contigo en Cuzco por la mañana temprano y te llevará en transporte privado al punto de partida de nuestra ruta: Tinqui. Aquí disfrutarás de un almuerzo local, mientras cargan tu equipo en los caballos de carga. Después de comer, empezarás a caminar hacia nuestro primer campamento. Este día sólo caminaremos unas horas hasta llegar al pueblo de Upis. Aquí podrás darte un baño en las aguas termales, mientras disfrutas de un té de coca, y relajar los músculos hasta la cena.

Día 2

Upis - Paso de Puccacpcha - Anata

Distancia: 15 km Elevación: 4200 m- 4930 m- 4700 m Tiempo de caminata: 7 horas Campamento: 4700 m/ 15.420 pies Con dos pasos que cruzar hoy, despertamos a todo el mundo a las 5 de la mañana con un té de coca traído a tu tienda y te alimentarás con un gran desayuno para el día que tienes por delante. La mañana comienza con una caminata por el paso de Arapa (4.958 m) antes de un ligero descenso hasta nuestro lugar de almuerzo cerca del lago Puma cocha, un lago de color azul intenso y una parada perfecta para descansar. Por el camino verás pastores locales y llamas, la montaña Ausangate a tu izquierda, y tendrás a tu guía experto explicándote la historia de los lugareños y hablando del paisaje por el camino. Después de comer, seguiremos subiendo hacia nuestro segundo paso del día (el paso de Pucacocha, 5000 m), donde si tienes suerte podrás ver cóndores y vicuñas, hasta descender a nuestro campamento de Anata, donde estarás rodeado de altas montañas e increíbles glaciares colgantes: ¡cuidado con el glaciar que se estrella en el lago de abajo! Como siempre, se instalará el campamento para que te cambies y descanses las piernas cansadas, y se preparará la cena.
Día 3

Anata- Montaña Arco Iris (5050 m)- Lago Ausangate

Distancia: 20 km Elevación: 4700 m - 5050 m - 4650 m Tiempo de caminata: 7-8 horas Campamento: 4650 m/ 15.255 pies El día de hoy comienza con el paso de Chillca (5050 m), una montaña muy colorida pero sólo un precursor de lo que está por llegar. Tras cruzar el paso, entras en un valle de color rojo brillante, un paisaje salvajemente desértico con colores vibrantes por todas partes, y llamas vagando por el suelo debajo -a medida que te acercas a la cima del paso verás la hermosa Montaña Arco Iris en la distancia, ¡pero aún no has llegado! Desde aquí empezarás a descender a un amplio valle y seguirás caminando por un llano peruano hasta que se nos presente una última subida a la Montaña del Arco Iris. Empápate de las vistas y disfruta de aquello por lo que has trabajado tan duro. Disfrutaremos del almuerzo en los alrededores, y descenderemos de nuevo por el valle para dirigirnos al impresionante lago Ausangate, donde se instalará el campamento y te esperará para descansar.
Día 4

Lago Ausangate - Paso de Palomani - Surapampa

Distancia: 17 km (10,5 millas) Elevación 4650 m - 5100 m - 4600 m Tiempo de caminata: 7-8 horas Campamento: 4600 m/ 15.090 pies Hoy cubrimos menos kilómetros, ya que ayer fue un gran día, y pasamos por bellas lagunas glaciares, exuberantes pampas verdes y seguimos la orilla del río. Hoy es un gran día para avistar fauna, así que mantente alerta para ver cóndores y vicuñas.
Día 5

Surapampa - Paso de Qampa- Paqchanta (aguas termales/ Acampada)

Distancia: 16k Elevación: 4600m- 5050m - 4300m Tiempo de caminata: 6-7 horas Campamento: 4300 m/ 14.110 pies Con sólo un paso que cruzar, hoy nos tomaremos nuestro tiempo disfrutando de las profundas lagunas azules y los lagos alpinos de color glaciar que hay por el camino. Si eres lo bastante valiente, incluso podrás saltar para refrescarte. Las vistas de la enorme montaña Ausangate siguen siendo visibles, sólo que hoy podrás disfrutarlas desde un nuevo ángulo junto con las vistas del Valle de Pacchanta. Nuestra meta son las aguas termales de Pacchanta, donde disfrutaremos de un buen baño y de las vistas de la montaña Ausangate.
Día 6

Pacchanta - Tinqui

Distancia: 16k Elevación: 4300 m (en descenso) Tiempo de caminata 3-4 horas Hoy volveremos a madrugar para regresar al punto de partida de Tinqui caminando por terreno llano y celebrando nuestros logros. Una vez que lleguemos al pueblo tendrás tu último almuerzo mientras todo se empaqueta en nuestro transporte privado para emprender el camino de vuelta a Cusco donde. Te dejaremos en tu hotel, al que llegarás sobre las 17.00 horas.

BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS

By paying your deposit you agree to adhere to these Terms and Conditions.

EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY

The Operator makes all arrangements for all tours on the condition that it shall not be liable for any sickness, injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned, either directly or indirectly, by reason of any defect in any vehicle, by weather, by any other cause, or through acts of default of a company or person engaged in conveying the passengers, or in carrying out arrangements for these activities. We strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance prior to your trip.

 

By participating in this activity, you are expressly assuming those risks and responsibilities and are, to the maximum extent permitted by law releasing the Operator, its officers, employees, directors, agents and any other person associated with us, from any liability, claims, loss, damages or expenses (whatsoever and irrespective of whether direct, indirect or consequential) caused by any event including but not limited to: personal injury or death; property loss or damage; acts which may be construed as negligible or accidental; any other loss, damage, suffering, emotional or nervous disorder suffered by you or any other person in relation to this activity booked on or via this website or through email directly. You accept that you have been advised to obtain adequate travel insurance for all persons named on the booking and/or going on a trek.

 

In participating in the activity, the customer agrees to be bound by the following conditions:

 

My successors, executors and administrators are bound by the Terms and Conditions;

I agree not to commence any litigation proceedings in any country in relation to the risks and liabilities set out above and to indemnify the Operator against any claims;

I confirm and warrant I am physically fit and suffer no medical conditions, which may affect my ability to participate in the activity;

I consent to receive medical treatment in the case of injury, accident or illness during the activity and to indemnify the Operator against any claims, costs or expenses in respect of the treatment;

I agree that any film, sound, video or other recordings taken of or during the activity will not be used in any production, or advertising without prior consent of the Operator, however the Operator may use such recordings itself at its complete discretion without any prior approval; and

I agree to listen to my driver/guide/host, follow their instructions and make sure any children in my care do the same.

Furthermore, the Operator will not be responsible for any personal injury and/or property damage caused by you and any costs for such injury/damage will be your responsibility. You shall indemnify the Operator in relation to such costs.

 

PAYMENTS

Partial or full payment for your booking is required in order to confirm dates. You agree to make payment via PayPal. The amount debited will be the amount shown in US dollars on your invoice via PayPal. This will be charged to your card at the amount shown or converted to your local currency by your credit card company.  Depending upon the currency of the booking, your credit card's currency and the country in which your card was issued, your credit card provider may impose foreign exchange fees and other fees in accordance with your arrangements with that credit card provider.  We are not responsible for currency conversion or any fees imposed by your credit card provider and any questions relating to such matters should be directed to them.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

Cancellation fees for all FlashpackerConnect Tours/ Treks are charged on the following basis per person

ALL TOURS/ PACKAGES AND PACKAGE ITINERARIES

A 50% deposit is required to reserve the dates. All deposits are non refundable or transferrable under any circumstance. Your remaining balance is due at least 45 days prior to your trip departure and is non refundable upon completion of payment. You agree to pay your final invoice at least 45 days prior to your trip departure or you will be subject to late fees (5% per week up to 2 weeks prior to the departure). If payment is not made 14 days or more prior to the departure your reservation will be terminated. The Operator reserves the right to cancel your itinerary should payment not be received within 14 days prior to your departure. We do not provide refunds due to altitude sickness, food poisoning, family emergencies or any other reason given by the passenger. NO EXCEPTIONS. For this reason travel insurance is highly recommended.

OPERATOR CANCELATIONS

The Operator reserves the right to alter, amend or cancel any trip should weather or any other circumstance necessitate this. Once the trek has departed from Cusco, no portion of the package payment is refundable in the event of an individual or group being unable to proceed further on the trip, for whatever reason. Should the trip be cancelled prior to departing from Cusco, due to weather or any other circumstance the customer will receive a full refund via the same method paid. Should the Operator cancel the tour due to forces of nature or any other reason after the tour has departed from Cusco no refunds will be submitted. Customers take full responsibility in knowing the Operator is not able to control weather and there is always the possibility of hiking in rain, wind, snow or fog. Conditions can change at any moment and without notice. Should the Operator need to cancel the tour midway through the hike, no refunds will be provided.

 

PACKAGE REFUND POLICY

A package is any tour booked in combination with another tour- ie, 2 or more tours booked together create a package. Any unused portion(s) of a package is not refundable, except in instances where a component of the package is cancelled due to weather or any other unforeseen circumstances, prior to departure by the Operator. Any refunds will be made on the discounted package price and not the full listed rate. For example: Machu Picchu 1 day + Rainbow mountain 1 day package cost = $495. Should the Rainbow mountain trek be cancelled you will pay full price for the Machu Picchu tour ($380) and will be refunded the discounted rate of Rainbow mountain ($115).

DIETARY REQUIREMENTS

Whilst we try to accommodate most notified special dietary requirements, we operate in an extremely isolated environment and this is not always possible. We must be informed of any dietary requirements prior to any trek or we may be unable to accommodate this need. If you have any allergies to food that are life threatening you are required to carry the proper medical equipment should a contamination reaction occur.

 

CONFIRMATION EMAIL

On completion of your payment, you will be emailed a booking confirmation which will include important details about what you can expect, what you need to bring, what is supplied and where you need to be at what time. Please ensure that you read through this information thoroughly to ensure that you are adequately prepared for your trek. You are responsible for ensuring that you are dressed appropriately and you have appropriate footwear to undertake the trek.

CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The Operator reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time without notifying customers. Any bookings you make will be made subject to the Terms and Conditions which apply at the time a booking is made and you are advised to read all the Terms and Conditions carefully on each occasion prior to making a booking.
