TRAVESÍA PARCIAL DE 4 DÍAS AUSANGATE + MONTAÑA ARCO IRIS:

La ruta del Ausangate está considerada la joya de la corona de los Andes. No es un trekking para todos, pero los que quieran salirse de los caminos trillados encontrarán en él una experiencia única.

Cruzarás 4 pasos de montaña, experimentarás paisajes diversos, te adentrarás en la remota cultura andina y verás un cielo nocturno inolvidable. Y, por supuesto, conocerás los impresionantes valles de la Montaña Arco Iris y la Montaña Roja, algunos de los paisajes naturales más bellos de toda Sudamérica y del mundo. ¡Ven a explorar los Andes con nosotros!

Programa del tour

Día 1

Cusco - Tinqui - Upis

Distancia: 7 km Elevación: 4100 m Tiempo de caminata: 3 horas Salimos de Cuzco a las 6 de la mañana en furgoneta privada hacia el inicio de nuestra caminata en la base de la impresionante montaña Ausangate. Desde Tinqui caminaremos a través de aldeas locales con varios cruces de arroyos hasta llegar al pequeño asentamiento de Upis y a tus primeras aguas termales del viaje (10 soles) Aquí ya estará montado el campamento y tendrás la opción de remojar tus músculos para prepararte para los días venideros. Nuestro cocinero preparará la comida y la cena y podrás ver por primera vez el cielo nocturno del Ausangate, un espectáculo que recordarás para siempre.

Día 2

Upis - Puca Cocha

Distancia: 10 km Elevación: 4300 m - 4750 m Tiempo de caminata: 5 horas Con un paso que cruzar hoy, despertamos a todo el mundo a las 5 de la mañana con té de coca traído a tu tienda y te alimentarás con un gran desayuno para el día que tienes por delante. La mañana comienza con una subida al paso de Arapa (4958 m) antes de un ligero descenso hasta nuestro lugar de almuerzo. Tras el almuerzo, continuaremos hacia el lago Pucacocha, de un azul intenso y una parada perfecta para descansar. Por el camino verás pastores locales y llamas, la montaña Ausangate a tu izquierda, y tu guía te explicará la historia del paisaje que te rodea. Si tienes suerte, podrás ver cóndores y vicuñas en nuestro campamento, donde estarás rodeado de altas montañas e increíbles glaciares colgantes: ¡mira cómo se estrella el glaciar Ausangate en el lago que hay debajo! Como siempre, se instalará el campamento para que te cambies y descanses las piernas cansadas, y se preparará la cena.
Día 3

Puca Cocha - Ananta

Distancia: 9 km Elevación: 4500 m - 4990 m Tiempo de caminata: 4 horas Hoy es un día difícil pero corto. Comenzamos con una empinada ascensión al paso de Puca Cocha. Aunque difícil, este paso ofrece unas vistas increíbles durante todo el camino. Cuanto más alto subes, más impresionante es el lago que hay debajo y el glaciar Ausangate que está justo enfrente. Tómate tu tiempo en este paso y disfruta de la belleza que te rodea. Tendrás muchas oportunidades de hacer fotos, ya que los descansos serán necesarios. Este paso es posiblemente el mirador más hermoso de todo el circuito del Ausangate. Tras superar el paso, continuamos por un valle de un verde intenso, con llamas pastando por todas partes. A medida que nos acerquemos a nuestro destino del día, habremos montado un campamento para que disfrutes del entorno y te relajes.
Día 4

Ananta - Montaña Arco Iris - Qesuno - Cusco

Distancia: 10 km Elevación: 4700 m - 5050 m Tiempo de caminata: 5 horas Hoy es el día que estabas esperando. Te despertaremos muy temprano para que puedas ser el primero en llegar a la cima de la Montaña del Arco Iris. Tras un desayuno caliente y un poco de té de coca, empezamos con la primera subida: el paso de Ananta. Aquí verás la hermosa Montaña Arco Iris a lo lejos, pero aún no has llegado. Desde aquí desciendes a un gran valle y continúas caminando por un llano peruano hasta que se nos presenta una última subida a la Montaña del Arco Iris. Empápate de las vistas y disfruta de aquello por lo que has trabajado tan duro. Si te sientes con fuerzas, pregunta a tu guía por el Valle de la Montaña Roja. Es una zona que no te puedes perder, ¡pero tendrás que trabajar por ella si quieres verla! Situada a unos 20 minutos de la Montaña Arco Iris, podrás disfrutar de otra vista salvaje de los rojos eléctricos que componen esta zona. Desde aquí nos dirigiremos cuesta abajo hasta el pueblo de Qesuno, donde almorzaremos, nos despediremos del jinete y recogeremos la furgoneta antes de regresar a Cuzco, donde te dejaremos en tu hotel. Normalmente llegamos a Cuzco sobre las 17:00 o 18:00.

BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS

By paying your deposit you agree to adhere to these Terms and Conditions.

EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY

The Operator makes all arrangements for all tours on the condition that it shall not be liable for any sickness, injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned, either directly or indirectly, by reason of any defect in any vehicle, by weather, by any other cause, or through acts of default of a company or person engaged in conveying the passengers, or in carrying out arrangements for these activities. We strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance prior to your trip.

 

By participating in this activity, you are expressly assuming those risks and responsibilities and are, to the maximum extent permitted by law releasing the Operator, its officers, employees, directors, agents and any other person associated with us, from any liability, claims, loss, damages or expenses (whatsoever and irrespective of whether direct, indirect or consequential) caused by any event including but not limited to: personal injury or death; property loss or damage; acts which may be construed as negligible or accidental; any other loss, damage, suffering, emotional or nervous disorder suffered by you or any other person in relation to this activity booked on or via this website or through email directly. You accept that you have been advised to obtain adequate travel insurance for all persons named on the booking and/or going on a trek.

 

In participating in the activity, the customer agrees to be bound by the following conditions:

 

My successors, executors and administrators are bound by the Terms and Conditions;

I agree not to commence any litigation proceedings in any country in relation to the risks and liabilities set out above and to indemnify the Operator against any claims;

I confirm and warrant I am physically fit and suffer no medical conditions, which may affect my ability to participate in the activity;

I consent to receive medical treatment in the case of injury, accident or illness during the activity and to indemnify the Operator against any claims, costs or expenses in respect of the treatment;

I agree that any film, sound, video or other recordings taken of or during the activity will not be used in any production, or advertising without prior consent of the Operator, however the Operator may use such recordings itself at its complete discretion without any prior approval; and

I agree to listen to my driver/guide/host, follow their instructions and make sure any children in my care do the same.

Furthermore, the Operator will not be responsible for any personal injury and/or property damage caused by you and any costs for such injury/damage will be your responsibility. You shall indemnify the Operator in relation to such costs.

 

PAYMENTS

Partial or full payment for your booking is required in order to confirm dates. You agree to make payment via PayPal. The amount debited will be the amount shown in US dollars on your invoice via PayPal. This will be charged to your card at the amount shown or converted to your local currency by your credit card company.  Depending upon the currency of the booking, your credit card's currency and the country in which your card was issued, your credit card provider may impose foreign exchange fees and other fees in accordance with your arrangements with that credit card provider.  We are not responsible for currency conversion or any fees imposed by your credit card provider and any questions relating to such matters should be directed to them.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

Cancellation fees for all FlashpackerConnect Tours/ Treks are charged on the following basis per person

ALL TOURS/ PACKAGES AND PACKAGE ITINERARIES

A 50% deposit is required to reserve the dates. All deposits are non refundable or transferrable under any circumstance. Your remaining balance is due at least 45 days prior to your trip departure and is non refundable upon completion of payment. You agree to pay your final invoice at least 45 days prior to your trip departure or you will be subject to late fees (5% per week up to 2 weeks prior to the departure). If payment is not made 14 days or more prior to the departure your reservation will be terminated. The Operator reserves the right to cancel your itinerary should payment not be received within 14 days prior to your departure. We do not provide refunds due to altitude sickness, food poisoning, family emergencies or any other reason given by the passenger. NO EXCEPTIONS. For this reason travel insurance is highly recommended.

OPERATOR CANCELATIONS

The Operator reserves the right to alter, amend or cancel any trip should weather or any other circumstance necessitate this. Once the trek has departed from Cusco, no portion of the package payment is refundable in the event of an individual or group being unable to proceed further on the trip, for whatever reason. Should the trip be cancelled prior to departing from Cusco, due to weather or any other circumstance the customer will receive a full refund via the same method paid. Should the Operator cancel the tour due to forces of nature or any other reason after the tour has departed from Cusco no refunds will be submitted. Customers take full responsibility in knowing the Operator is not able to control weather and there is always the possibility of hiking in rain, wind, snow or fog. Conditions can change at any moment and without notice. Should the Operator need to cancel the tour midway through the hike, no refunds will be provided.

 

PACKAGE REFUND POLICY

A package is any tour booked in combination with another tour- ie, 2 or more tours booked together create a package. Any unused portion(s) of a package is not refundable, except in instances where a component of the package is cancelled due to weather or any other unforeseen circumstances, prior to departure by the Operator. Any refunds will be made on the discounted package price and not the full listed rate. For example: Machu Picchu 1 day + Rainbow mountain 1 day package cost = $495. Should the Rainbow mountain trek be cancelled you will pay full price for the Machu Picchu tour ($380) and will be refunded the discounted rate of Rainbow mountain ($115).

DIETARY REQUIREMENTS

Whilst we try to accommodate most notified special dietary requirements, we operate in an extremely isolated environment and this is not always possible. We must be informed of any dietary requirements prior to any trek or we may be unable to accommodate this need. If you have any allergies to food that are life threatening you are required to carry the proper medical equipment should a contamination reaction occur.

 

CONFIRMATION EMAIL

On completion of your payment, you will be emailed a booking confirmation which will include important details about what you can expect, what you need to bring, what is supplied and where you need to be at what time. Please ensure that you read through this information thoroughly to ensure that you are adequately prepared for your trek. You are responsible for ensuring that you are dressed appropriately and you have appropriate footwear to undertake the trek.

CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The Operator reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time without notifying customers. Any bookings you make will be made subject to the Terms and Conditions which apply at the time a booking is made and you are advised to read all the Terms and Conditions carefully on each occasion prior to making a booking.
