Tras tu llegada al Aeropuerto Internacional de Bakú, serás trasladado a tu hotel en Bakú. Llegada a Bakú y visita nocturna de la ciudad
Volcanes locos de Gobustán y Petroglifos
Este día exploraremos la Gran Zona de Bakú y partiremos del Museo de Petroglifos de Gobustán, donde podrás observar petroglifos que datan del siglo XI a.C. Si el tiempo lo permite, visitaremos la Reserva de Gobustán, que alberga casi la mitad de los volcanes de lodo del mundo. Dependiendo de las condiciones meteorológicas, el coche puede cambiar a 4x4. Después volveremos a Bakú para continuar la visita turística. Visitaremos el Callejón de los Mártires, que ofrece una hermosa vista de la costa de Bakú. Terminaremos el recorrido en el emblemático centro Heydar Aliyev.
Mezquita de Juma y Sheki
Esta mañana saldremos de Bakú hacia el norte del país. En ruta, haremos algunas paradas notables. La primera es el Mausoleo de Diri Baba, en la aldea de Maraza. Continuamos nuestro viaje a Shamakha para visitar la famosa Mezquita de Juma, que está siendo restaurada en 2013. Aquí visitamos el Mausoleo de Yeddi Gumbez y un cementerio familiar. La siguiente parada es la primera iglesia albanesa del Cáucaso del siglo I d.C. en la aldea de Kish. Después seguimos conduciendo hasta la ciudad medieval de Sheki, rodeada de frondosos bosques y colinas. Disfruta de tu tiempo libre en Sheki.
Excursión a Sheki y traslado a Georgia
After breakfast, we head toward the Georgian border, where we will change guides and drivers. After completing passport control at the Azerbaijan side, crossing the neutral zone, and passing through Georgian customs, you will be welcomed by your Georgian guide, and your journey through hospitable Georgia begins. Shortly after crossing the border, we’ll be warmly received by a local Georgian family for a delicious homemade lunch.
As we drive through the picturesque region of Kakheti, Georgia’s renowned wine country, breathtaking views of endless vineyards unfold before us.
We’ll stop at the unique “Khareba” wine cellar, a remarkable tunnel carved into the rock — the longest wine tunnel in the Caucasus. Here, you’ll enjoy a guided wine tour and tasting experience.
Tsinandali - Bodbe - Sighnaghi - Tiflis
After a nourishing breakfast, we begin the day with a visit to Tsinandali, the former residence of a Georgian duke, set amidst a charming English-style garden. The estate, which includes a museum and historic wine cellar, once belonged to Prince Alexander Chavchavadze, a prominent 19th-century public figure and cultural icon. We then continue to the picturesque hilltop town of Sighnaghi, known for its red-roofed houses and romantic cobbled streets. Strolling through its winding lanes, you’ll discover the town’s historic charm and its impressive defensive walls, featuring 23 towers. Next, we visit the serene Bodbe Convent, dedicated to Saint Nino, the revered figure who introduced Christianity to Georgia. From here, enjoy breathtaking views of the towering Caucasus Mountains. In the evening, we drive to Tbilisi, where we’ll stay overnight

Welcome to the enchanting city of Tbilisi! We’ll begin our tour at the statue of King Vakhtang Gorgasali, the legendary founder of the city, where a stunning view of the old town unfolds before us. Our first visit is to Metekhi Church, followed by a short ascent to Narikala Fortress, offering breathtaking panoramic views of Tbilisi, as if seen from a bird’s-eye perspective. From Narikala, we’ll walk down to the historic sulfur baths, then continue on to see Tbilisi’s only mosque, symbolizing the city’s multicultural spirit.
As we stroll through the charming old town, you’ll pass cozy cafés, wine bars, and inviting souvenir shops that give the area its warm and welcoming vibe. Among the key landmarks we’ll explore are the Sioni Cathedral, the ancient Anchiskhati Basilica, the whimsical clock tower of Rezo Gabriadze Theatre, and the modern Bridge of Peace, which connects to the scenic Rike Park. In the evening, get ready for a festive welcome dinner featuring traditional Georgian cuisine and a cultural performance.
Tiflis - Mtsjeta - Ananuri - Kazbegi
After breakfast, we set off for Mtskheta — one of the oldest towns in Georgia and its historic cultural and religious heart. Mtskheta served as the capital of the Eastern Georgian Kingdom of Iberia from the 3rd century BC. Our first stop is the Jvari Monastery, an early medieval architectural gem perched on a hilltop, offering panoramic views of the confluence of the Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers.
We then visit the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral — the spiritual center of Mtskheta and one of Georgia’s most sacred sites, believed to be the burial place of Christ’s robe. The journey continues to the impressive Ananuri Complex, a fortress and church ensemble set on the shores of the picturesque Zhinvali Reservoir. From here, we follow the famous Georgian Military Highway, passing through spectacular mountain landscapes and reaching its highest point at 2,394 meters above sea level. Along the way, we’ll stop at a natural mineral spring that flows from the hillside. By late afternoon, we arrive in Kazbegi (Stepantsminda), a small mountain town surrounded by stunning views of Mount Kazbek, the seventh-highest peak in the Caucasus. We’ll ascend to visit the iconic Gergeti Holy Trinity Church, standing at 2,170 meters, where the scenery is truly unforgettable.
Kazbegi - Gori - Uplistsikhe - Tiflis
After breakfast, we head to Gori, the hometown of Joseph Stalin. Our first stop is the Stalin House Museum, which houses over 60,000 artifacts. In the museum’s courtyard, you’ll find the small, well-preserved house where Stalin was born and spent his early years, as well as his famous bulletproof train carriage, used during trips to Yalta and Potsdam. We then continue to explore the ancient cave town of Uplistsikhe, dating back to the Hellenistic period. This remarkable site features a unique blend of rock-cut architectural styles that reflect both pagan and early Christian influences. By evening, we return to Tbilisi for an overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, we begin our day by exploring Kutaisi, one of Georgia’s most ancient and historically significant cities. We’ll visit some of its key landmarks, including the Bagrati Cathedral and the UNESCO-listed Gelati Monastery — both remarkable examples of medieval Georgian architecture. A stroll through the local market offers a glimpse into everyday life and the authentic charm of the city. Later, we’ll head to the impressive Prometheus Cave, renowned for its breathtaking stalactites, stalagmites, and underground lakes that create a truly magical atmosphere. After exploring the cave, we return to Kutaisi for an overnight stay, where you can enjoy the laid-back ambiance of this storied city.
Mestia, tierra de torres
After spending the night in Kutaisi, embark on a scenic drive to Mestia, the vibrant heart of Georgia’s Svaneti region. The journey treats you to breathtaking views of rugged mountains, winding rivers, and secluded villages. As you ascend into the Greater Caucasus, the landscape gradually changes, revealing dramatic natural beauty. Mestia itself captivates with its majestic snow-capped peaks and the iconic Svan towers, ancient defensive stone structures unique to this region. We’ll also visit one of these traditional Svan towers to explore its fascinating interior and learn about its historical significance.
Viaje en 4x4 a Ushaguli
After rural breakfast and refreshing coffee or herbal tea we take a 4-wheel ride to Zemo Svaneti (upper Svaneti) to Ushguli village perhaps the highest inhabited rural settlement in Europe at 2200 m above sea level. Enjoy the breathtaking landscapes and tranquility of this small village surrounded by mountains. If we are lucky enough we will observe the snow-covered peak of Mount Shkara 5163m. We will visit the Ushguli Architectural Complex listed in UNESCO World Heritage Site. Take a stroll in the pebbled narrow streets of Ushguly, and enjoy the fresh air. Evening we will take a ride back to Mestia, In The first months of summer the 4-wheel ride takes us through rivers and snowmelt springs.
Paseo en barco por el Cañón Martvili
This day we will leave the mountainous region and drive to Martvili Canyon. Here we will have a boat ride in crystal clear waters in the deep canyon where the sun reaches hardly. The leisurely ride goes through high cliffs and small waterfalls, providing an excellent experience. We will stop at a small bridge to observe fish in the crystal clear waters and take some nice photos and selfies. After we will drive to Kutaisi for another calm evening. Evening free time for your own explorations.
Borjomi - Castillo de Rabat - Gyumri
This they we will start the visit with Borjomi, famous for its mineral water and lush national park. Take a short walk through Borjomi Central Park and taste the naturally carbonated spring water straight from the source. Continue to Rabat Castle in Akhaltsikhe — a beautifully restored medieval fortress that blends Georgian, Ottoman, and European influences. Explore its towers, gardens, mosque, and museum. After the visit, cross the border into Armenia and head to Gyumri, Armenia’s second-largest city, known for its unique architecture, vibrant arts scene, and warm hospitality.

This day we will drive toward Gyumri, the second largest and the cultural city of Armenia. Gyumri is known for its citizens’ humor. We will have a city tour in Gyumri, and take a walk in Rustaveli Street, which consists of old 1-2 story traditional houses of local black stone. A huge earthquake destroyed the city but old buildings stood strong without any damage. In the old town, we will visit Aslamazyan’s sister’s gallery. After the city tour, we drive to Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. On the way, we’ll stop to see the Armenian Alphabet Monument, dedicated to the unique Armenian script, before arriving in Yerevan for the evening.

Welcome to Yerevan, we will have a city tour, and start from the Mother Armenia statue, where the best view opens over the city. The next stop is Matenadaran Museum, one of the world’s three biggest depositories of ancient manuscripts. We will continue the walking tour in the city center, will visit Cascade Complex, Stare Opera, and Ballet Theatre, and walk through Abovian Street and Northern Avenue to Republic Square. We continue our trip to Echmiadzin town, to the Machanents Cultural Center for lunch and a traditional Armenian sweets participatory master class. After we will continue to Echmaidzin Cathedral and Museum, which holds important relics of Christianity. In the evening we will be back in Yerevan.
Templo de Garni - Monasterio de Geghard
Por la mañana, visita el Templo Pagano de Garni, dedicado a Mihr, el dios armenio del sol. Esta estructura helenística de columnas rectangulares se construyó en el siglo I d.C. El Templo de Garni está situado en una impresionante meseta triangular y rodeado por las murallas de una fortaleza. Aquí se conservan bien algunas partes de la fortaleza de Garni, así como un baño de estilo romano con suelo de mosaico. Después continuaremos hacia el Monasterio medieval de las Cuevas de Geghard, otra obra maestra de la arquitectura armenia y lugar de interés de la UNESCO. Geghard asombra con sus iglesias rupestres excavadas en un único acantilado. Después de Geghard regresaremos a Ereván para pasar otra tranquila velada en Ereván.
Monte Ararat bíblico
Nos espera el suroeste del país, con excelentes vistas del bíblico monte Ararat. Visitaremos el Monasterio de Khor Virap y la Prisión Real, donde San Gregorio fue recluido durante 13 años por difundir el cristianismo en Armenia en el siglo III. Continuaremos hacia otra joya de la Arquitectura Espiritual Armenia, el Monasterio de Noiravank, en medio del valle del acantilado ref. Continuaremos hacia Yeghegnadzor para registrarnos en el hotel. La cena se disfrutará en el gastropatio local, donde degustarás barbacoa armenia y vinos locales. Aquí es posible observar cómo se elaboran los vodkas de frutas locales. Este día haremos noche en la región, en la remota ciudad de Yeghegandzor.
Sección de la Gran Ruta de la Seda
Este día pasaremos por una parte de la Gran Ruta de la Seda y veremos el Caravasar de Selim del siglo XII inalterado como congelado en el tiempo. El paso de Vardenyats, con su punto más alto de 2400 m., ofrece unas vistas impresionantes de las interminables cadenas montañosas. Después continuaremos hacia el cementerio de Noratus, que alberga la mayor cantidad de piedras cruzadas, una pieza única de la arquitectura armenia. Más tarde visitaremos una granja quesera familiar para degustar quesos curados en vino y brandy. La excursión continúa a lo largo del lago Sevan, uno de los lagos de agua dulce más altos del mundo, a 1900 m sobre el nivel del mar. Seguiremos hasta la acogedora ciudad de Dilijan y visitaremos el complejo del Viejo Dilijan, con casas tradicionales con balcones de madera decorados, y visitaremos tiendas de artesanía, para ver su proceso de trabajo. Pasaremos la noche en Dilijan.
Clase de cocina y cueva artificial de 21 m de profundidad
Terminaremos nuestro recorrido con una experiencia gastronómica, una clase de cocina impartida por uno de los chefs más honrados de Armenia. Después del desayuno, nos dirigiremos a la Casa del Chef Tsaghkunq y disfrutaremos de un té de hierbas con un melocotón al horno. Más tarde prepararemos pescado armenio del lago Sevan con la receta del chef y disfrutaremos del almuerzo hecho por nosotros mismos. Continuaremos el viaje a la Cueva de Levon, una cueva única hecha por el hombre de 21 metros de profundidad, una bonita obra de arte con escaleras laberínticas y bonitas salas. Tras la visita a la cueva, tendrás la tarde libre en Ereván.

Por la mañana, después del desayuno, disfruta de tu tiempo antes del vuelo. La salida es a mediodía, si tu vuelo es por la tarde puedes dejar tu equipaje en el hotel hasta la hora del traslado al aeropuerto. El traslado privado al aeropuerto se organizará para ti en función de la hora de tu vuelo.

2. Tour enquiry & confirmation
You may book your tour either by submitting a “booking” or “hold place” form on our website or by emailing us at [email protected]. We receive your request and assign to one of our tour managers, who is responsible for your tour organisation. After confirming all the details and your special requirements by our tour manager you will be issued with a prepayment invoice of €100 per person. Your booking is considered as confirmed after receiving your prepayment, which will be followed up by sending you your tour voucher with confirmed hotels in 10 working days. Please check payment information and let us know if you have any issues with it.
3. Your changes in the tour
You are free to make any changes in the special requested or private tour up to date when your tour voucher is sent. The late changes (after receiving your tour voucher) will cause extra operational work and are subject to additional charge of €50 for the tour.
You are not able to make changes in group tour programs of any guaranteed date, unless the whole travelling group wants to make minor changes and confirm it with your guide at the tour pace.
4. Our changes in the tour
We reserve the right to make changes in the tour depending on local circumstances (road renovations / museum closures or any other issue) by replacing a sightseeing or service with another one with the same value. We guarantee that these changes may occur in less than 5% of operated tours without causing any inconvenience during the tour in general.
5. Refunds
Your prepayment is subject to fully refund up to 10 days prior to tour start. Though we guarantee the full refunding of the prepayment, we will not be covering bank transaction fees, which will be reduced from the refunded amount.
6. Our liability
The Cascade Travel is liable for providing full travel documents, tour programs, vouchers with all the confirmed services , and the invoices. Please make sure to double check the information and let us know if any detail is missing or incorrect.
At the same time, Cascade Travel is liable for the tour organisation, in accordance with your purchased and paid package for. If the services are not fully provided you reserve the right to complain and demand a refund for the unreceived services.
We reserve the right to replace any hotel / restaurant or sightseeing with a relevant one or a higher quality if the one does not operate at that moment.
7. Your personal information
The last point of Booking Terms refers to your personal information. Important to know, we will require your personal information: Passport details, address, phone number. This is demanded by local tax law to confirm that the service receiver is not a resident of Armenia․ Your tour manager sends you a form to fill in detail. This information is not a subject to be passed to a third party, unless the Tax Service of the Republic of Armenia requests Cascade Travel’s financial documents and client residency information.
