Tras escalar el impresionante Pico Nangkartshang (5.090 m), nos dirigimos a Lobuche, y luego continuamos hacia nuestro objetivo final: el Campo Base del Everest.

Trekking a Namche Bazaar (3.441 m)
Seguir el río Dudh Koshi y luego una subida para llegar a Namche lleva aproximadamente 6 horas. Cruzamos el río varias veces, encontrándonos con yaks y mulas a lo largo del camino. Finalmente, el sendero de las orillas se acaba y empezamos a ascender en fuerte pendiente hacia arriba, cruzando el puente colgante más alto de la región del Everest. Caminata al Monasterio de Tengboche (3.880 m) por el pueblo de Khumjung
Hoy exploraremos el pueblo de Khumjung y nos dirigiremos hacia el norte, hacia Tengboche, una colina magnífica para la fotografía y las vistas del Himalaya. Trekking a Dingboche (4.350 m)
Después de desayunar, bajamos a Debuche y seguimos hasta Pangboche, que es un importante asentamiento sherpa. Caminando por el pueblo, podremos ver el monte Ama Dablam dominándonos desde la derecha, lo que constituye un escenario perfecto para el pueblo. De hecho, la montaña estará a tiro de piedra de nosotros mientras caminamos. Por senderos ondulados, cruzamos un río y ascendemos brevemente hasta el valle de Dingboche.
Subida al Pico Nangkartshang 5090 y Trekking a Dhughla
Por la mañana temprano, subiremos al pico Nangkartshang (5090 m), volveremos al albergue y, después de comer, iremos a Dhughla. Es un sendero casi llano, y en el último punto, tenemos que empujar hacia arriba durante media hora para llegar a Dhughla.
Trekking a Gorakshep (5170 m) vía Lobuche (4.910 m)
Después de desayunar en Dhugla, pasamos por el paso de Thukla, también llamado Paso Memorial, ya que tiene bastantes pequeños recuerdos de piedra y banderas de oración para conmemorar a los seres queridos que perecieron en la región del Everest. El sendero de hoy es más fácil que el de días anteriores, ya que discurre por praderas. Las vistas del Himalaya, el valle del Khumbu, los lagos glaciares de Cholatse, el paso de Thukla, etc., hacen que la caminata sea realmente agradable.
Seguimos caminando hacia el destino principal del trekking: el Campo Base del Everest. El camino rocoso junto al glaciar del Khumbu es bastante duro y precario en algunos tramos, así que ten cuidado. El primer pueblo al que llegamos es Gorakshep, donde almorzamos y continuamos hacia el Campo Base del Everest. De camino al Campo Base, es importante llevar algunos tentempiés y agua.
Sube a Kalapattar (5.555 m) por la mañana temprano y desciende hasta Pheriche (4.270 m)/ Pangbohce
Éste también es un día desafiante. Por la mañana temprano subimos a Kalapathar para ver el amanecer. A medida que ascendemos, las montañas se ponen a la altura de nuestros ojos. Desde la cima obtenemos una vista panorámica de las montañas del Khumbu. Éste es también el punto más alto del trekking, desde donde podemos ver el Everest, el monte Nuptse, el monte Pumori, el monte Lhotse y muchos otros picos. Descenderemos fácilmente hasta Gorakshep y desayunaremos antes de bajar a Pheriche, una pequeña aldea en la base del monte Taboche. Si las condiciones son buenas, podemos seguir bajando hasta Pangboche.
Trekking a Namche Bazaar (3.441 m)
Nuestro viaje a Namche desde Pheriche comienza después del desayuno. Atravesarás el pueblo de Pangboche y el Imja Khola. Una pequeña subida nos lleva a Tengboche, una estación de montaña donde se asienta el mayor monasterio de la región. Es el único monasterio que puede verse desde la cima del Everest. Tras explorar el monasterio, bajamos hasta Phungi Thanga y subimos hasta Sanasa. Finalmente, en subidas graduales, llegamos a Namche Bazaar.
Descenso a Lukla (2.840 m)
Tras 9 días de trekking por la región, nos dirigimos a Lukla, que será nuestra última parada en la región de Solukhumbu. Para comer, nos detendremos en Phakding, un pueblo situado a orillas del río Dudhkoshi.

BROAD ADVENTURE PVT. LTD requests you to read these booking terms and conditions of Broad Adventure carefully and to understand them before booking your trip with us. This Booking Terms and Conditions is a legal contract between Broad Adventure and you which contains important information about services provided by Broad Adventure and sets out the basis of your legal relationship with Broad Adventure.
1. Bookings and Payments:
1.1 To process a Booking you must send us a completed booking form with a 20% non-refundable but useable by postponing or transferable deposit as detailed below. This will constitute your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
1.2 We require you to email a copy of each passport and passport-size photo to our Kathmandu office, which is used to issue permits in advance for trekking, climbing, and other adventure activities.
1.3 After receiving a photocopy of your passport and the completed booking form with your 20% deposit, we will send you the final confirmation receipt.
1.4 All deposits required are per person per trip.
1.5 Please get in touch with us regarding direct deposit details.
1.6 A bank service charge may apply and should be paid at the time of deposit.
1.7 On wire transfer, your mediator bank may charge additionally.
1.8 We only accept Visa or MasterCard and a 3.5% levy will be added to the card processing fee.
1.9 The remaining balance can be paid in cash upon your arrival in Kathmandu.
1.10 Broad Adventure reserves the right to cancel your trip should the full amount not be paid in time.
1.11 We will accept your last-minute booking 2 days before the tour departure date, full payment is required.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
2.1 Trip Cancellation Notice: To cancel your trip, please email us a valid written notice at least 7 days before the departure date. Cancellations will only be processed with proper notice and approval.
2.2 Refunds for Cancellations 7 Days Before Departure: If you cancel your trip 7 days before the departure date, 10% of the domestic flight cancelation charge will be deducted, and the remaining amount will be refunded. No refunds will be provided for cancellations made less than 7 days before the departure date.
2.3 No Refunds After Trip Commencement:
Once your trip begins, no refunds or reimbursements will be provided under any circumstances, including but not limited to early departure, illness, personal reasons, or unforeseen events. By starting the trip, you acknowledge and agree that the full cost of the trip is non-refundable, regardless of whether you complete the entire itinerary or not. Broad Adventure will not be liable for any refunds for unused services, such as meals, accommodations, transportation, or other activities that you do not utilize during the trip. Additionally, if a group member leaves the trip for any reason—whether voluntarily, involuntarily, or due to the commission of an unlawful act—no refunds will be issued for any part of the trip, including any unused meals, accommodations, or services.
3. Booking Changes:
3.1 There will be no refund if a group member leaves a trip for any reason, voluntarily, involuntarily, or if you commit any unlawful act after the trip has commenced. We will make no refunds for any meals, accommodation, or services not used.
3.2 Should you require other changes to your original tour, the person who booked the tour must submit a written document with the changes required. While every effort will be made, changes cannot be guaranteed. Additionally, any changes will incur an additional cost.
3.3 Suppose you are prevented from traveling on the tour by genuine circumstances, for example (without restriction) because of death, injury, or serious illness of the participants, close relative or friend, redundancy. In that case, you may postpone or transfer your booking to another person, provided they meet all the requirements relating to that tour. You must provide proof of why you are unable to travel at the time you change your booking. A fee of $ 100.00 per person is required if you postpone or transfer this tour no less than two weeks before trip departure. There will be no options available 14 days before trip departure. Additionally, in some cases especially, pre-booked tickets, transportation, hotels, etc. will incur an additional cost.
4. No-Show and Late Arrival Policy
4.1. All participants must confirm their attendance at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time. Failure to do so will be considered a no-show, and the participant may forfeit their place on the trip without a refund. Additionally, anyone who does not appear at the departure location at the scheduled time will be marked as a no-show, and the trip will proceed as planned without them.
4.2. We recommend staying in contact with our team if you anticipate delays so we can assist wherever possible.
4.3. If the participants booked their hotel on their own, the participants must inform or report their name of the hotel and address at least 24 hours before the trip starts.
5. Passport and Visas
5.1. All clients must have a valid passport with at least 6 months of validity from the return date. Nepalese visas can be obtained from the Nepalese Consulate in your country or arrive at Kathmandu Airport. Nepalese visa costs are the sole responsibility of clients.
6. Travel Insurance
6.1. Travel insurance is compulsory for all Clients undertaking any tour. It should provide adequate protection for the full duration of the tour to cover personal injury, death, medical expenses, repatriation expenses, helicopter rescue, air ambulance, and adequate cover for baggage.
6.2. We strongly recommend that all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, interruptions, medical emergencies, and other unexpected events. Broad Adventure is not liable for any costs not covered by insurance.
7. Health & Fitness
7.1. All our Nepal tours and treks require a level of fitness; therefore, you should always check with your local general practitioners regarding your health and fitness before you travel. It's the client's responsibility to notify Broad Adventure of any pre-existing medical condition and/or differently able that might reasonably be expected to increase the risk of you requiring medical attention, that may affect your ability to travel.
8. Children
8.1. A legal guardian must accompany all travelers under the age of eighteen. If you have a question regarding age and suitability, please contact us for further information.
9. Publicity
9.1. You agree that Broad Adventure may use images of you taken during the trip without recourse to you and compensation to you, for publicity and promotion purposes only through whatever medium it chooses.
10. Changes to your Holiday and Pricing
10.1. Traveling with Broad Adventure requires a degree of flexibility, good humor, and an understanding that modes of transport, accommodation, and itineraries may change, even after the tour has commenced, without prior notice due to local circumstances such as flight delay, cancellation or postponement due to notorious weather in the Himalayan regions or other unpredictable circumstances such as land-slides, road blockage, flood, snow, political unrest or delay arrival, etc. Broad Adventure is unable to refund any monies under the above circumstances due to prior supplier arrangements. If possible, we will always endeavor to provide you with an alternative or substitute trip of the same category.
10.2. Broad Adventure does not accept any responsibility for loss of employment, delays, or compensation resulting from situations beyond Broad Adventure's control.
10.3. Our holidays and tour/trek packages are based on twin shared accommodation. Thus, a single room supplement charge will be imposed on clients who do not have another tour participant to share accommodation with.
10.4. We reserve the right to revise pricing rates posted in our marketing material, under any circumstances, or under the pressure of various external factors that are further than our control, for instance, changes in the exchange rate, government action, etc.
11. Privacy
11.1. In order to collect information from you to make a booking through Broad Adventure we ask many questions to obtain the necessary permits etc. No private or personal information that you supply to us when making a booking will not be disclosed for any other purposes.
12. Risk & Liabilities
12.1. We are committed to providing the best services which will give you a once-in-a-lifetime journey in this connection, we perform our duties honestly & seriously to make your journey very smooth & pleasant. However, the entire programs in Nepal are conducted strictly under the rules and regulations of their own policies.
12.2. Therefore Broad Adventure and its related organization shall not be responsible for any changes in the itinerary due to unavoidable circumstances such as govt. restriction, Land slide, road blockage, flood, snow, political unrest, cancellation of flight, delay, sickness or accident, Any extra cost incurred thereof shall be borne by the clients on the spots.
13. Our Responsible Tourism Policy
At Broad Adventure, we are committed to promoting responsible and sustainable travel practices. We expect all our clients to adhere to the following terms and conditions to ensure a positive impact on the environment, local communities, and cultural heritage:
13.1 Environmental Responsibility:
13.1.1 Respect for Nature: Clients must respect and protect the natural environment. This includes not littering, avoiding damage to ecosystems, and following designated trails or paths during outdoor activities.
13.1.2 Conservation Efforts: Clients should support and participate in conservation initiatives, such as minimizing waste, conserving water and energy, and respecting wildlife habitats and protected areas.
13.1.3 Leave No Trace: Clients are expected to follow the principles of "Leave No Trace" by leaving natural areas as they found them, without causing harm or leaving any trace of their presence.
13.2 Cultural Sensitivity:
13.2.1 Respect for Local Culture: Clients must respect the customs, traditions, and cultural norms of the communities they visit. This includes appropriate attire, behavior, and interactions with local people, especially in sacred or culturally sensitive sites.
13.2.2 Cultural Exchanges: Clients should seek opportunities to engage with local communities in a respectful and meaningful way, promoting cultural understanding and supporting local economies by purchasing local products and services.
13.2.3 Photography and Privacy: Clients must respect the privacy and consent of individuals they encounter during their travels. It is important to obtain permission before taking photographs or sharing images of local people.
13.3 Social Responsibility:
13.3.1 Support Local Communities: Clients should prioritize supporting local businesses, such as accommodations, restaurants, and guides, to contribute positively to the local economy and foster sustainable development.
13.3.2 Responsible Souvenir Purchasing: Clients should avoid purchasing souvenirs made from endangered species, protected plants, or cultural artifacts. They should support local artisans and buy sustainable, locally produced items.
13.3.3 Responsible Volunteering: If clients engage in volunteer activities, they must ensure that they are aligned with ethical standards and benefit local communities in a sustainable and responsible manner.
14. Health and Safety:
14.1. Personal Health and Fitness: Clients are responsible for assessing their own health and fitness levels and ensuring that they are adequately prepared for the physical demands of their chosen activities. It is recommended to consult with a healthcare professional before participating in any adventure travel.
14.2. Compliance with Safety Instructions: Clients must follow the instructions and guidelines provided by Broad Adventures' guides and staff to ensure their personal safety and the safety of others during the trip.
14.3. Travel Insurance: It is mandatory for clients to have comprehensive travel insurance that covers adventure activities, medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and other relevant risks.
15. Compliance with Laws and Regulations:
Clients must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and requirements of the countries they visit, including those related to customs, immigration, health, and safety.
16. Complaints
If you have a complaint about the trip or tour, you must inform your tour leader or guide as soon as possible so they can take appropriate action. Complaints that are not reported to the tour leader or a responsible person in Kathmandu at the earliest opportunity will not be considered valid or actionable.
By engaging in our services, clients acknowledge and agree to these responsible travel terms and conditions. Failure to adhere to these terms may result in termination of services without refund and may disqualify clients from participating in future trips.
