Today enjoy your breakfast at the hotel, before meeting your guide at the hotel foyer for a full day Cape Town City Tour.

Tour Duration: 08:30-17:00

Enjoy your drive through to the city center, pass famous landmarks such as the Castle of Good Hope built in 1666 by the Dutch East India Company and City Hall, a splendid baroque building, and of course the Grand Parade. See St. George’s Cathedral, the Anglican Diocese of Nobel Peace Laureate Archbishop Desmond Tutu. Pass the Company Gardens and the Malay Quarter. Perhaps ascend to the summit by cable car (ticket not included) and marvel at a bird’s eye view of the city and its beaches. Later, you will have the opportunity to learn the three-billion-year-old story of diamonds while touring prominent Shimansky Jewelers. The 45-minute tour reveals the origins of diamond mining and includes explanations of color, cut and clarity. Following the tour stroll through the V & A Waterfront with its endless shopping and dining opportunities before returning to your hotel for an afternoon at leisure. This evening, treat yourself to a seafood dinner at one of the trendy outdoor seaside restaurants, while watching the magnificent sunset over the Atlantic Ocean. Rest of the day and evening at your own leisure. Later that evening you will be collected to enjoy a local dinner at Cape Town restaurant.

Enjoy your journey through The Cape of Good Hope within Table Mountain National Park is surrounded by rich biodiversity and is home to at least 250 species of birds as well as antelope, ostrich, and baboons. Walk the rugged cliffs and take the famous Flying Dutchman funicular (return), a beacon for early explorers that climbs uphill to the old lighthouse. Afterward, visit Boulders Beach to see the unique spectacle of penguins waddling freely and walk-through spectacular Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Later back to the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure or you can do an optional tour to Robben Island with additional cost.  Runs as follows; 09h00, 11h00, 13h00, and 15h00. The ferries depart from the Nelson Mandela Gateway at the V & A Waterfront. The tour takes  including the ferry trip to and from the Island (Depending on the boat used as they have different travel times). You will disembark at Murray’s Bay Harbour situated on the east coast of the Island and take a short walk to buses that will transport you to all the historical sites around the Island. On the way to the bus, you will pass buildings and a high wall built by prisoners during the 1960s. The buildings were used for family and lawyer visits to prisoners. You will meet your Tour Guide when you have boarded the busses. The prison tour will be conducted by a Robben Island Tour Guide. This is part of our integrated tour model. They are fully conversant and knowledgeable about the Island’s multi-layered 500-year-old history. The tour route includes the graveyard of people who died from leprosy, the Lime Quarry, Robert Sobukwe’s house, the Bluestone quarry, the army and navy bunkers and the Maximum-Security Prison where thousands of South Africa’s freedom fighters were incarcerated for years. The tour culminates with a viewing of Nelson Mandela’s cell.

After breakfast and check out, you will be met and transferred to Cape Town International Airport for your flight to Johannesburg (flight is excluded and depart before 10:00).

Arrival at OR Tambo International Airport, you will be met at arrivals and be transferred to your lodge in Pilanesberg. As a Big 5 Reserve - the Pilanesberg National Park is the perfect destination for travelers wanting a safari experience, but who are pressed for time. Pilanesberg is home to more than 7,000 animals including the Big 5 and 360 species of birds and promises thrilling game viewing in a malaria-free environment. Arrive at your lodge and relax. If time permits (dependent on arrival) explore the park in an open game drive vehicle offers the best vantage point to see the intricacy of its flora and fauna. This is your chance to get up close and personal with nature. When the sun goes down you will enjoy a scrumptious dinner.

We will depart on an early morning game drive before the sun rises. This is the perfect time to spot animals before they start their routine for the day; it is also the time when predators are most active. We will get to experience a great deal of the park in all its glory and we will hopefully come across some or all of the Big 5! There is nothing quite like enjoying a crisp morning game drive. After our drive we will return to the lodge for breakfast. After this you will have time to relax and enjoy the lodge’s many activities and facilities before the lunch.

Game Drive Duration: 03hrs Each

After lunch we will head out on our late- afternoon game drive in anticipation of what the park has to offer. These drives often extend to the early hours of the evening depending on the game we see. We will return to the lodge for dinner.

Morning game drive (time availability) and breakfast can be enjoyed before check out and meet your guide at the lodge for transfer to OR Tambo International Airport for your flight back home (flight is excluded and to depart after 17:00).
