Itinerario

Antes del Trekking de Aventura al Everest, vuelas por las montañas nevadas del Himalaya desde Katmandú, la ciudad de los templos, hasta Lukla, el punto de partida de este trekking. Sientes el aire fresco de la montaña en Lukla. El vuelo es sobrecogedor, y las montañas te causan una impresión duradera, por lo que tienes la visión de ver las impresionantes montañas durante todo el trekking.


Sobre todo, disfrutas contemplando una vista satisfactoria del monte Everest, que es tu principal objetivo. Al principio del Trekking de Aventura Escénica del Everest, caminas cuesta abajo por el bosque de rododendros, magnolias y pinos. Por delante hay pequeños asentamientos y senderos llanos con banderas de colores ondeando, y lo mismo ocurre con el valle, que es tan hermoso que no podrás evitar hacer clic con tu cámara. Otra belleza es el río Dudh Kosi, un río glaciado, blanco como la leche, que cruzarás a menudo por los altos puentes colgantes que harán más animada la caminata.


Otro punto destacado del Trekking de Aventura por el Everest es Namche Bazaar, el pueblo más grande de la región del Everest, también conocido popularmente como la Puerta del Everest. El Trekking de Aventura al Everest también incluye la majestuosa vista de Tawache (6510 m), Nuptse (7861 m), Ama Dablam (6856 m), Thamserku (6648 m), Kongde Ri (6187 m), Kusum Canguro (6367 m), Kamtega (6782 m) y Lhotse (8516 m). De todas ellas, el Ama Dablam es la montaña más bella del mundo.

Programa del tour

Día 1

Llegada al aeropuerto de Katmandú (1.400 m/4.593 pies).

Nuestro representante en el aeropuerto te recibirá en el aeropuerto internacional de Tribhuvan, Katmandú, y mostrará un cartel de As el Himalaya en el exterior de la terminal del aeropuerto. A continuación, te trasladaremos a tu hotel respectivo en nuestro vehículo turístico privado.


Nota: Celebramos una reunión previa al viaje después de las visitas turísticas en nuestra oficina de Katmandú y presentamos a tu líder/guía del viaje. Aprovecha esta oportunidad para hacer preguntas sobre tu viaje. También te proporcionaremos nuestra bolsa de viaje y una gorra. Día 2

Vuelo a Lukla (2.804 m/9.199 pies) - 35 a 45 minutos. Trekking a Phakding (2.610 m/8.562 pies) - de 3 a 4 horas.

El aeropuerto de Manthali, Ramechhap, está a unas 4 ó 5 horas de Katmandú. Despiértate a las 2:30 de la madrugada y coge un transporte escoltado al aeropuerto de Manthali en un vehículo turístico compartido. Embarca en un vuelo de 20 minutos a Lukla. El vuelo de Manthali a Lukla es relevante durante los meses de mayor actividad senderista.

Despiértate a las 5/6 de la mañana. Nuestro personal te acompañará a la terminal nacional del aeropuerto de Katmandú. Embarca en un vuelo de 35 minutos a Lukla. El vuelo de Katmandú a Lukla es relevante durante la temporada baja de trekking.


Prepara tu equipaje para el trekking el día anterior al vuelo. Llegarás al aeropuerto Tenzing Hillary por la mañana temprano. Desayuno en Lukla. Los porteadores se reunirán con el grupo en Lukla y se les asignará el transporte del equipaje. Por cada dos clientes, se asigna un porteador.


Hoy caminaremos hasta Phakding. El sendero es sencillo. Salimos de Lukla y seguimos el río Dudh Koshi en descenso. La ruta enlaza con el sendero de Namche Bazaar, justo por encima de Chaurikharka (2.713 m). Continuando, nos encontramos con el pequeño pueblo de Ghat. Tras una enérgica caminata, llegamos a Phakding.

Día 3

Trekking a Namche Bazaar (3.441 m/11.289 pies) - de 5 a 6 horas

Continuamos el trekking por las orillas del Dudh Kosi, cruzando el majestuoso río muchas veces por emocionantes puentes colgantes cargados de banderas de oración. Tras entrar en el Parque Nacional de Sagamartha, el sendero asciende abruptamente con vistas impresionantes. Namche Bazaar (considerada la Puerta del Everest) alberga muchos restaurantes, hoteles, albergues, tiendas, servicios de cambio de moneda, cibercafés y panaderías de calidad. Namche es la ciudad más grande del sendero del Everest.

Día 4

Aclimatación en Namche Bazaar

Pasaremos un día en Namche Bazaar para aclimatarnos y adaptarnos al aire más enrarecido. Caminaremos una corta distancia hasta un museo célebre por sus exposiciones de las costumbres tradicionales del pueblo sherpa. También subiremos al aeropuerto de Syangboche, cerca del hotel Everest View. Desde este punto, podremos contemplar gratificantes vistas del Himalaya con un impresionante amanecer y atardecer sobre el panorama de los picos del Khumbu.

Día 5

Caminata hasta el Monasterio de Tengboche (3.860 m/12.664 pies) - 5 a 6 h

El trekking continúa a lo largo de las caudalosas aguas glaciares del Dudh Kosi, con magníficas vistas de las montañas. Habremos caminado hasta una altitud de 3.860 m al llegar al monasterio de Tengboche. En el interior del monasterio hay tapices increíblemente ornamentados, una escultura de Buda de 6 metros y los instrumentos musicales y túnicas de los lamas. Se llevará al grupo a observar una ceremonia de oración por la tarde o por la mañana, dependiendo de cómo vaya el trekking este día.

Día 6

Vuelta a Namche Bazar (3.441 m/11.289 pies) - de 5 a 6 horas

Siguiendo por el mismo sendero, dejando atrás las montañas, nuestro descenso nos lleva desde el Monasterio de Tengboche (3.860 m) hasta el pueblo de Namche Bazaar.

Día 7

Trekking a Lukla (2.804 m/9.199 pies) - 6 a 7 horas

Este es nuestro último día de trekking, ya que regresamos a Lukla, donde comenzó la marcha. Disfrutamos de este tiempo para reflexionar sobre el trekking como grupo y el logro personal de todos los que participaron. La tarde es libre, así que puedes pasear, relajarte y disfrutar de una ducha caliente. Por la noche, cena de despedida, seguida de unas copas de celebración y baile con nuestros compañeros sherpas.

Día 8

Vuelo matinal de regreso a Katmandú

Vuelo a Manthali


El vuelo de Lukla a Manthali dura 20 minutos. Después, el trayecto hasta Katmandú dura entre 4 y 6 horas. Te trasladarán al hotel en Katmandú en un vehículo turístico compartido. Esto es relevante para la temporada alta de senderismo, de marzo a noviembre.


Vuelo a Katmandú


El vuelo a Lukla dura unos 35 minutos. Tras llegar al aeropuerto, te trasladarán al hotel en Katmandú en un vehículo turístico compartido. Esto es relevante para los meses fuera de los meses pico del trekking.


Es posible que quieras quedarte un poco más en Nepal. Si quieres ampliar tu viaje, hay opciones como una visita al Parque Nacional de Chitwan, conocido por la observación de la fauna salvaje, y a Pokhara, considerada una de las ciudades más bellas de Nepal. También puedes ampliar tu viaje a Bután o Tíbet.

Día 9

Ocio en Katmandú

Éste será un día libre en Katmandú tras el agotador programa de trekking. Tienes la opción de ampliar tu viaje. Puedes continuar con el safari por la selva de Chitwan, la aventura de rafting, la visita comercial al valle de Katmandú, el vuelo panorámico al Everest, el ciclismo de montaña y otras actividades. Por la noche tendremos una cena de despedida en un restaurante de Thamel.

Día 10

Traslado al aeropuerto internacional para la salida de tu vuelo final

El viaje concluye: nuestro representante en el aeropuerto te llevará al Aeropuerto Internacional Tribhuwan de Katmandú para tomar tu vuelo de salida de Nepal.

After receiving photocopy of your passport and the completed booking form with your 30% non-refundable deposit we will send you a final confirmation receipt.

All deposits required are per person per trip. Please contact us regarding direct deposit details. A bank service charge may apply and should be paid at the time of deposit.
For Credit Card payment please contact us. We only accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express Card and a 4% levy will be added as card processing fee.

Remaining balance is payable upon your arrival in Nepal for Nepal trip (during the pre-trip meeting or on arrival day). For India remaining balance should be made minimum 15 days before the trip departure. We also reserve the right to cancel your trip should the full amount not be paid in time.

Where possible we will accept your last minute booking 10 days prior to tour departure date; if we have the space available.

NEPAL & INDIA CANCELLATION & BOOKING CHANGES
Cancellation notice is required minimum 20 days prior to trip departure and must be made in writing, such notice commences from the day notice is received. Cancellation shall be valid with approval from the company after receiving documentation. The Trip shall then be termed as cancelled and a cancellation charge of 30% of the trip amount would be deducted from the advance paid.
There will be no refund to clients that provide less than 20 days notice, before trip departure and if a passenger leaves a trip for any reason whatsoever, either voluntarily, involuntarily or if you commit any unlawful act after the trip has commenced. We will make no refunds for any meals, accommodation or services not used.
Should you require other changes to your original tour, the person that booked the tour must submit a written document with changes required. While every effort will be made, changes cannot be guaranteed.
If you have genuine reasons for not taking the trip, for example (without restriction) because of death, injury or serious illness of the passenger, close relative or friend, redundancy or jury service, you may postpone or transfer your booking to another person, provided they meet all the requirements relating to that tour. You must provide proof of why you are unable to travel at the time you change your booking. A fee of $200 US per person is required if you postpone or transfer this tour no less than 20 days prior to trip departure. There will be no options available 20 days before trip departure.

NEPAL & INDIA PASSPORT & VISAS
All clients must have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity from return date. Nepalese visas can be obtained from the Nepalese Consulate in your country or arrival at Kathmandu Airport. Nepalese visas costs are the sole responsibility of clients. For the Indian visa and cost please contact the Indian embassy in your home/resident country. There are no on arrival visa facilities for the Indian visa.

BHUTAN BOOKINGS AND PAYMENTS
To process a Booking you must send us a completed booking form with 50% non-refundable deposit for all Bhutan Trips. We require you to fax or e-mail a copy of your passport to our Kathmandu office at 00977-1-4444911 or at [email protected]. After receiving a copy of your passport and the completed booking form with your non-refundable deposit we will send you final confirmation receipt.

All payments required are per person per trip. Please contact us regarding direct deposit details. A bank service charge may apply and should be paid at the time of deposit.

Remaining balance should be made minimum 20 days before the trip departure. We also reserve the right to cancel your trip should the full amount not be paid in time.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel insurance is compulsory for all Clients undertaking any tour. It should provide adequate protection for the full duration of the tour to cover personal injury, death, medical expenses, repatriation expenses, helicopter rescue, air ambulance and adequate cover for baggage.

HEALTH & FITNESS
All our tours and treks require a level of fitness, therefore you should always check with your local GP regarding your health and fitness before you travel. It’s the client’s responsibility to notify Ace the Himalaya of any pre-existing medical condition and/or disability that might reasonably be expected to increase the risk of you require medical attention, that may affect your ability to travel.

CHILDREN
A legal guardian must accompany all travelers under the age of sixteen. If you have a question regarding age and suitability, please contact us for further information.

PUBLICITY
You agree that Ace the Himalaya may use images of you taken during the trip without recourse to you and without compensation to you, for publicity and promotion purposes through whatever medium it chooses.

CHANGES TO YOUR TRIP AND PRICE DUE TO NATURAL DISASTER, FLIGHT DELAY, ETC
Travelling with Ace the Himalaya requires a degree of flexibility, good humor and an understanding as unforeseen changes to the itinerary, modes of transportation and accommodation can occur at any time. Changes can also be cancellation and postponement of the trip. Such changes happen due to the unpredictable circumstances such as: flight delay, political unrest, bad weather, road blockage, any natural disaster (earthquake, landslide, flood, snowfall, avalanche, etc.) or other things beyond our control.

When such situations occur, the above mentioned cancellation and booking changes policy doesn’t apply. In other words, there will be no refund of the amount you have paid to us. And any extra cost occurred shall be borne by the clients. We also won’t be responsible for loss of employment, injury, illness and loss of life resulted by the situations beyond our control. However, we will try our best to take you to safety from any kind of danger.

And in the event of cancellation of the booked trip due to reasons out of our control, you are free to reschedule your trip or take an alternative trip of the same category. While rescheduling the trip, you will receive the full credit from your previously booked trip, and you will only pay the difference amount between old and new prices if the price increases for the rescheduled departure.

Furthermore, single-room supplement charge will be imposed to the clients who don’t have another tour participant to share accommodation with. Our trip packages are based on twin-sharing accommodation. And we reserve the right to revise pricing rates posted in our marketing material under any circumstances or on the pressure of various external factors like changes in exchange rate, government action, etc which are far from our control.

PRIVACY
In order to collect information from you to make a booking through Ace the Himalaya we ask many questions to obtain the necessary permits etc. No private or personal information that you supply to us when making a booking will be disclosed for any other purposes.

RISK & LIABILITIES
We are committed to providing the best services which will give you a “once in a lifetime” journey. So, we perform our duties honestly and seriously to achieve our commitment. However, the entire program is conducted strictly under the rules and regulation of their own policies.

Therefore, Ace the Himalaya and its related organization shall not be responsible for any changes in the itinerary due to unavoidable circumstances such as government restriction, bad weather, road blockage, political unrest, cancellation of flight, delay, sickness or accident, any natural disaster (earthquake, landslide, flood, snowfall, avalanche, etc) or other things beyond our control. But we will try our best to take you to safety from any kind of danger. Any extra cost incurring thereof shall be borne by the clients on the spot.

OUR RESPONSIBLE TOURISM POLICY
Ace the Himalaya are re-inventing tourism for the benefit of local people, tourists, environment and the tourism industry at large.
