7-Days Morocco Tour from Casablanca

Today embark on the 7-Day Casablanca tour, Once we've finished breakfast, we'll make our way through the narrow streets of Chefchaouen for a visit. Next, we'll have the opportunity to visit the well-preserved ruins of Volubilis, an ancient Roman city dating back centuries and recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage site. We'll discover mosaics, pillars and ancient gates. Our next destination is Meknes. This imperial city is also known as the Ismaili capital. There, we'll have the opportunity to discover several remarkable sites such as Bab El-Mansour, the Sahrij Souani Basin, the Royal Stables and the Granary, and then continue on to Fez. Spend the night in a traditional Arab home known as a “Riad”.

After breakfast, we set off on a Local guided tour of the city’s most important and emblematic sites for half a day. Speaking of Fez, it’s worth noting that it is one of Morocco’s four imperial cities and enjoys exceptional status as a religious and artistic capital. The first site to be visited is the gateway to the Royal Palace, as it is the first to welcome visitors every morning due to time factors. The medieval Medina is then presented as a remarkable and conservative city, having achieved UNESCO World Heritage Site status. The next checkpoint is the Blue Gate, also known as Bab Boujloud in Arabic, which marks the entrance to the ancient Medina. After entering the Medina, you can start your visit at the Medersa Bouanania, then continue to the Najjarine fountain before discovering the Tanneries. Finally, the Quaraouiyine Mosque and University, arguably the oldest university of its kind in the world. After that, we leave the Medina for another tourist magnet: the Mellah, also known as the Jewish Quarter. In the afternoon, you’ll be taken to an ancient fortress for a panoramic view of the Medina and the city of Fez. Finally, check your departure time and return to your Riad.

Once we've had a good breakfast, we'll head south to Imouzzer, then on to Ifrane. Known for its cold temperatures, snow cover and alpine architecture, Ifrane is often referred to as “Morocco's Little Switzerland”. Our visit will be devoted to the cedar forest, home to the Barbary macaques. You can feed them while they're in the forest. We then continue on our way to Midelt, with no special activities planned at this stop. However, customers will be able to order lunch. We pass over the Tizi-n-Tilghmt pass and the Ziz valley to reach Merzouga. Take a break to enjoy the scenery.

In the afternoon, we'll reach the Saharan village of Merzouga, where you'll ride camels and explore the sand dunes. To enjoy the sunset, we'll have a meal on top of a large dune. Afterwards, we'll head for the camp, which lies between a nomad tent and a hotel, where it'll be possible to enjoy Berber music, dance around the campfire and spend the night admiring the stars. Spend the night at camp and enjoy an evening meal.

After crossing the desert, the next stop is Rissani, an ancient capital of the Tafilalet region. The Rissani market, held on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, is as lively as ever, ensuring that the town remains one of the region's main commercial centers. We continue on to Erfoud for a visit to a factory where fossil marble is produced. After that, we pass through the Touroug and Tinjdad palm groves before reaching the Todra Gorge, a canyon carved out of red cliffs by the Todra River. A popular spot for amateur climbers. Lunch in a restaurant. Afterwards, we head for the Dades Valley, crossing Boumalne Dades. On the way, we'll stop to admire the rock sculptures, which are strangely similar to monkey fingers, and to enjoy the panoramic views from a vantage point overlooking the valley. Spend the evening and overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast in the morning, we'll continue our journey south, visiting the Rose Valley at Kalaa Magouna. This is where the famous Rose Festival takes place, where a variety of products such as perfumes, rose water, rose oil, etc. can be found. After passing through the palm groves of Skoura, we'll pay a visit to Ouarzazate, renowned for its film studios. We'll probably pay a visit to the Kasbah d'Ait Ben Haddou, the region's most famous landmark. The kasbah is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has been used as a backdrop for many films, including Gladiator, Alexander and The Mummy, as well as TV series. We continue our journey towards Marrakech, passing the Tizi-N-Tichka pass and the majestic landscape of the High Atlas. On the way, we'll pause for photos and refreshments. We'll stay in a Riad in Marrakech for the night.
