5 Days trip Sahara Outdoor Experience from Marrakesh

After Breakfast, on morning departure for the Gorges du Todgha, after visiting the gorges, we head for the village of Merzouga via Tinjdad. Stop for lunch and continue through the towns of Erfoud and Rissani. In the afternoon, enjoy a two-hour camel ride through the Morocco Sahara. Arrive in Merzouga, overnight in a hotel at the foot of the Erg Chebbi dunes.

Meals/ Dinner and Breakfast

After breakfast at the hotel, you can start exploring the region. Visit the Gnawa people, originally slaves who came from Sudan to discover their music and lifestyle, while nearby is the Merzouga lake, with its bird populations. You can also visit the Maison du Fil Nomade, where many Berber handicrafts are less expensive than in the big cities. You'll enjoy a spectacular sunset on the backs of camels at the top of the dunes (250m). Arrive from Erg Chebbi to your camp/Berber tent, dinner and overnight with a show at the foot of the dunes in a nomad tent.

If you get up early enough, you can witness the spectacle of sunrise, when the color of the dunes and the play of shadows are impressive. The route continues along the Drâa valley through the village or Tazzarine (featured in the film “Babel”), with plenty of beautiful landscape images in the Little Atlas. Stop for lunch in a panoramic N'Qob restaurant. In the afternoon, we continue along the ancient caravan route and discover the real Draa Valley with its palm trees and ancient villages. In the late afternoon, we arrive in the village of Agdz, where we'll spend the night in a Riad or Kasbah .

After a hearty breakfast in your accommodation, we start with a visit to the Tamnougalte Kasbah before returning to Ouarzazate via the Tizi-n-Tinfifte (1660m). Once in Ouarzazate, cross the land to the Fint oasis, nestled between the mountain track, a hidden gem that offers pleasure. Return to Marrakech, crossing the village of Merzgane Ighrem and crossing the Tizi-Tichka to arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon.
