Visit significant locations such as Bolivar Plaza, Casa Nariño, Palace of Justice, Catedral Primada de Colombia, Iglesia de San Francisco, Colón Theater, Iglesia de Nuestra Señora del Carmen, Séptima, and Chorro de Quevedo Plaza.

Delve into the rich history of La Candelaria while spending a few hours at the renowned Gold Museum, home to the world's largest collection of pre-Columbian gold artifacts. Marvel at over 55,000 pieces, including metal alloys, pottery, stone, shell, wood, and textile objects crafted by ancient indigenous Colombian cultures.

To cap off your experience, ascend to the summit of Monserrate, towering at 10,341 ft (3152m) above Bogotá. Discover the mountain's historical significance to the indigenous Musica people, explore artisan markets, visit a beautiful 17th-century monastery, and soak in breathtaking panoramic views of the capital city.

"This project is based on the concept that with the promotion of art and traditional culture, supported by projects of sustainable management of the forest and river resources, we can contribute in a significant way to the economic wellbeing of a community, to the strengthening of cultural and ethnic identity and to environmental conservation. It is art for conservation, and experience of public and communal art, painting the facades of the houses with relevant motives to the families indigenous clans."

  • After heading back to the eco-lodge for a delicious fresh lunch you'll start a hike across Calanoa Reserve to the Matamata creek, enjoying the thick jungle that you pass through. Located on the very edge of the Amacayacu National Park you'll discover a canoe waiting for you to paddle back down the Amazon River to the Eco-lodge (if the water level allows it.
