Día 1

BIENVENIDO A ROMA

A nuestra llegada a la ciudad eterna, uno de nuestros vehículos nos estará esperando en el aeropuerto para recibirnos y trasladarnos cómoda y rápidamente al hotel.


Por el camino apreciaremos por qué la capital italiana está considerada la máxima expresión de la riqueza histórica, artística y cultural del mundo occidental, razón por la que desde 1980 está incluida en la lista del Patrimonio Mundial de la UNESCO.


El resto del día será para relajarnos y disfrutar de Roma a nuestro ritmo.


Iremos al punto de encuentro a la hora acordada para visitar la magnífica ciudad por la noche.

Día 2

ROMA - ASÍS - SIENA - FLORENCIA

Por la mañana, a las 07:15, saldrás de Asís en nuestro autobús de lujo. Asís es una pequeña ciudad medieval, atractiva y llena de edificios sorprendentes. Debido a su carácter acogedor y a su gran importancia histórica, es visitada a diario por numerosos visitantes.


Te recomendamos que visites la magnífica Basílica de San Francisco, decorada con frescos de muchos pintores bajomedievales, como Giotto y Cimabue. Es Patrimonio de la Humanidad de la UNESCO desde el año 2000.


Tendrás tiempo libre para almorzar (no incluido) en cualquiera de los sitios para comer que salpican las calles principales.


En nuestro autocar de lujo, te dirigirás hacia Siena, una de las ciudades medievales amuralladas más bellas del mundo. Visitarás el centro histórico con sus calles medievales y la Piazza del Campo, una plaza de forma redondeada única, que acoge dos veces al año la carrera del Palio.


La carrera atrae a lugareños y turistas por igual para vivir una increíble experiencia similar a un festival, en la que los barrios de Siena compiten entre sí. Aquí también encontrarás el hipnotizante Duomo de Siena, con su fachada increíblemente intrincada y sus columnas rayadas en blanco y negro, que le dan un aire lujoso.


Por último, continuarás tu viaje hacia Florencia, donde cenarás y descansarás.

Día 3

5 VISITA A FLORENCIA

Tras un delicioso desayuno, visitarás la magnífica ciudad de Florencia, la "ciudad de las artes". Empezarás con una visita panorámica del centro histórico, el exterior del complejo de la Catedral: la Torre de Giotto, el Baptisterio con la famosa Puerta del Paraíso, y el Duomo de Florencia, con la espectacular cúpula de Brunelleschi.


Más tarde, continuarás hacia la Plaza de la Señoría, que fue el corazón político de la Florencia de los Médicis, y finalmente la Iglesia de la Santa Cruz, de estilo gótico, que es la iglesia franciscana más grande de Italia y alberga las tumbas de notables florentinos como Galileo y Miguel Ángel. A continuación, almorzarás en un restaurante típico toscano.


Por la tarde, tendrás tiempo libre y la opción de hacer una visita panorámica de Pisa, una de las ciudades más famosas del mundo y lugar de nacimiento de Galileo Galilei. Podremos reservar nuestra excursión a Pisa a la llegada.


Una vez allí, visitarás la Plaza de los Milagros, Patrimonio de la Humanidad, su famosa Torre Inclinada de 60 metros que, tras la reciente restauración, se calcula que mantendrá su estabilidad otros 300 años, y el Duomo, una obra maestra de estilo románico, con el artesonado dorado y las gigantescas columnas, así como el imponente baptisterio con su excelente acústica.


A continuación, regresarás a tu hotel y descansarás.

Día 4

FLORENCIA - BOLONIA - PADUA - VENECIA

Tras un delicioso desayuno, partirás hacia tu próximo destino, Bolonia, conocida como la "ciudad culta (la dotta), roja (la rossa) y gorda (la grossa)" por ser la sede de una de las universidades más antiguas de Europa, por el color de sus edificios y tejados y por su riquísima gastronomía.


Bolonia es una de las ciudades históricas mejor conservadas y tiene el segundo casco antiguo medieval más grande de Europa, después de Venecia. También es un ejemplo perfecto de coexistencia entre el pasado y sus tradiciones (como la arquitectura y la gastronomía italiana) y la modernidad (como sus prestigiosos eventos culturales y exposiciones).


El recorrido comenzará en la Plaza Malpighi para maravillarte con las famosas arcadas y pórticos hasta llegar a la Plaza de Neptuno y la Plaza Mayor, epicentro del casco antiguo.


Alrededor de las plazas se encuentran los edificios más representativos que se conservan desde la época medieval: la Fuente de Neptuno, del siglo XVI (dicen que si le das dos vueltas te traerá buena suerte), el Palacio Comunal, el Palacio del Rey Enzo, el Palacio de Podestá y la Basílica de San Petronio, la iglesia más antigua y que iba a ser la más grande del mundo, pero se quedó en quinto lugar.


Luego continuarás tu viaje con una visita a la ciudad de Padua, famosa por su universidad y por tener una de las iglesias más bellas y queridas de Italia, la Basílica de San Antonio, conocida localmente como "il Santo". Por último, viajarás a Venecia, una ciudad mágica que asombra a todos los que tienen la suerte de visitarla.

Día 5

VISITAR VENECIA

Tras disfrutar de un delicioso desayuno, tendrás un traslado privado a la Plaza de San Marcos, que comenzó a construirse en el siglo IX, adquiriendo su forma actual en el siglo XII. Visitarás el interior de la Basílica de San Marcos (se incluyen las entradas para "saltarse la cola"), la mejor mezcla de arquitectura bizantina, gótica y renacentista, y que alberga los restos mortales de San Marcos.


El Palacio Ducal, construido en estilo gótico veneciano y mármol rosa de Vernon, se considera una mezcolanza coherente de arquitectura bizantina y gótica, junto con vestigios de arquitectura renacentista tardía. Fue la sede histórica de la Serenísima, la República veneciana, y esconde secretos que rara vez han salido de sus muros.


El palacio ostenta mobiliario ornamentado, piezas de arte veneciano, suntuosas habitaciones y alberga pinturas de Tiziano, Tintoretto y Bellini. Es un símbolo de la gloria y el poder de Venecia, y el Puente de los Suspiros o Ponte dei Sospiri lo conectaba con las prisiones que se construyeron al otro lado del canal.


Cuenta la leyenda que este famoso puente tomó su nombre porque los prisioneros que lo cruzaban de camino a sus celdas o a la cámara de ejecución suspiraban al vislumbrar por última vez Venecia a través de las diminutas ventanas.


Tendrás la tarde libre para disfrutar de esta maravillosa ciudad y pasar la noche en tu hotel.

Día 6

VENECIA - MONTEPULCIANO - ROMA

Tras un delicioso desayuno, partirás en nuestro autobús de lujo hacia Montepulciano, en la región del Valle di Chiana, en la Toscana, famosa por sus maravillosos vinos. Atravesarás paisajes llenos de viñedos que quedarán grabados en tu retina.


Después, visitarás Montepulciano, una pintoresca ciudad medieval situada en una colina del centro de la Toscana italiana protegida por murallas etruscas del siglo XVI, rica en edificios medievales y renacentistas, y famosa por producir uno de los vinos más antiguos y mejores de Italia, el "Nobile di Montepulciano".


Destacan por su belleza: la Plaza Grande, el corazón de la ciudad, situada en el punto más alto de la ciudad con su magnífico Duomo acompañándola, el Palacio Tarugi, con su fachada recubierta de mármol, y la Iglesia de Santa María dei Servi, uno de los símbolos del arte renacentista.


Almorzarás en un restaurante tradicional y luego dispondrás de tiempo libre para disfrutar de Montepulciano a tu ritmo.


Tras la visita, regresarás a tu hotel en Roma.

Día 7

¡ADIÓS ITALIA!

Después del desayuno y a la hora indicada, serás trasladado al aeropuerto de Roma para embarcar en tu vuelo de salida.


Después de pasar unos días fantásticos con Greca, esperamos volver a verte para vivir más momentos increíbles en Roma.


Y si te acordaste de lanzar una moneda de espaldas a la Fontana de Trevi, según la tradición, ¡seguro que volverás!

All hotels included in our website are carefully selected among the best options taking into consideration the "quality-price" ratio according to their category and include daily breakfast and rates (see below), except where otherwise indicated. Hotel taxes, Airline tickets, airport taxes, passport expenses, visa expenses, Travel Insurance (in products of up to 2 days), laundry services, telephone expenses, drinks, meals not included in the itineraries, tips of any kind (non-compulsory), personal matters, baggage excess or transportation fees, optional tours or tours not included during cruises, unless otherwise stated under "Included in this program or this package includes."

Discounts and policy for children and infants

Discounts for reservations containing 10 travelers or more are granted automatically through our website and consider, without exception, that all travelers perform all services simultaneously, including but not limited to visits, transportation, guides, transfers, etc.


Discounts for minors must be requested. Greca Travel reserves the right to charge additional charges at destination in the event that the traveler or client has intentionally omitted, or not, their correct dates of birth or age "at the time of travel". The traveler accepts that he has complied with mandatory and truthful reporting of the dates of birth or, alternatively, the age of the children at the time of travel.


Keep in mind that discounts for groups or minors cannot be combined with any other promotions.

Baggage

Passengers are allowed to carry a handbag up to 7kg and case of normal size, with a maximum up to 23kg in all our buses and means of transport.


All flights booked by Greca Travel, unless otherwise stated, include a bag and a handbag per person, in accordance with the size and weight allowed by the airline company operating the segment or flight route.

Health issues

Any impairment, be it physical or mental, that requires special attention or treatment, must be disclosed at the moment of booking. Greca Travel is a friendly travel agency that promotes and welcomes travelers with special needs.

Prices

All prices are subject to change without prior notice due to potential increases in hotel taxes and fees, cruise company rates, currency fluctuation, fuel charges, or any government-imposed taxes, as well as other additional charges.

Deposits and payments­ 

The credit cardholder understands and accepts that at the moment of paying for his/her services or on behalf of someone else, the transactions are made remotely without their physical presence of the credit card in our offices. These remote charges may be carried out online, in written or by telephone by the client or cardholder him or herself. A grace period is granted to the owner of the credit card to notify us in writing about the non-acceptance of the charges and may subsequently request the reimbursement of the amount.

Modifications - Cancellations - Reimbursements

MODIFICATIONS

­ 

Any amendment of the content or arrival dates of the purchased services up to 21 days before the beginning of your services will not incur any cancellation fees, except if the new provided dates contain a rate difference. If the new arrival date is cheaper than the original one, Greca Travel will refund the difference.


If your selected product contains an airline or train ticket, any publicly disclosed charges imposed by the airline or train company due to changes (such as rescheduling, name corrections, or rerouting) will be charged to the traveler.


In adition, a handling fee applios per modified segment and per person, structured as follows:


  • For intercontinental flights, the handling fee is €20 per segment, per person.
  • For all other flights, the handling fee is €10 per segment, per person.
  • For train tickets, the handling fee is €10 per segment, per person, regardless of route or distance.

The classification of a flight as *intercontinental *is determined based on the geographic location of the departure and arrival airports.


Please note that updated travel vouchers (in the case of modifications) or refund documents (in the case of cancellations) will be issued and sent once per week, on Wednesdays.

CANCELLATIONS

­ 

All cancellations must be submitted in writing by email and shall be effective within the next 24 hours. A handling fee of 10€ per person is included in all our packages and cruises, and is non-refundable in case of cancellation.


In case of cancellations within less than 31 days prior to your arrival, cancellation expenses shall be collected in advance in accordance with the following tables.


For standard land-based programs, the following cancellation fees apply:

  • Up to 31 days before arrival: No charge (only handling fees apply)
  • 30-15 days before arrival: 35% of the total price
  • 14-08 days before arrival: 50% of the total price
  • 7-0 days before arrival or in case of passenger's no-show: 100% of the total price

Products with a cancellation policy of less, equal to, or greater than 31 days (1) will unify expenses with the period mentioned in the 30-15 days before arrival segment, unless otherwise specified in the product (2):


Example 1: Free cancellation up to 31 days before arrival.


Example 2: Free up to 48 hours before arrival. If you cancel less than 48 hours before, the product is non-refundable.


For Greek cruise companies, the following cancellation fees apply:

  • Up to 90 days prior: No charge
  • 89 – 60 days prior: Loss of deposit (250€-500€ per cabin, according to cabin type and cruise duration)
  • 59 – 30 days prior: 50% of the cruise fare
  • 29 – 0 days prior: 100% of the cruise fare

Cancellation policy for Airline & Train Tickets


Airline or train tickets included in any program are non-refundable and incur 100% cancellation fees from the moment of purchase, unless otherwise specified in the product.


In addition, a handling fee applies per flight or train segment and per person, structured as follows:

  • For intercontinental flights, the handling fee is €20 per segment, per person.
  • For all other flights, the handling fee is €10 per segment, per person.
  • For train tickets, the handling fee is €10 per segment, per person, regardless of the route or distance.

In the case of a date modification request, only the applicable handling fee and any charges imposed by the airline or train company will apply.


Example: Free until 31 days before arrival, except airline tickets, which are non-refundable. The rest of the program follows the general cancellation policy outlined above.


​Travel safely with our included Health and Cancellation Insurances, which cover up to 100% of the price in case of hospitalization of the policyholder or a direct relative, death, or other unforeseen events. Additionally, we offer optional extra insurance plans for enhanced coverage, allowing you to tailor your protection according to your needs!


Any and all reimbursements will be made directly using the same payment method that was originally selected, every Wednesday or the immediate following business day, should our headquarters be closed.

Single and Triple Accommodation

Prices for single passengers reflect rooms and cabins in single occupancy. Greca Travel cannot arrange for shared accommodation in hotels during land tours. Shared accommodation on cruises is provided upon request.


Triple rooms usually consist, for the third guest, of an extra bed, a sofa bed, or a similar option depending on the accommodation. On cruises, triple cabins typically include bunk beds. If passengers prefer a different configuration with standard individual beds (especially recommended for elderly travelers), they must contact us in advance to check availability and specific conditions. The discount granted to the third occupant is distributed among all participants, hence the lower price.

Tips - Taxes - Entrance Fees

For further information, please refer to the section "This package includes" or the description of the "Itinerary", day by day, for the program to be acquired or compared. Travel documents

Every passenger has the duty and the responsibility to have the necessary visas and travel documents in order and in accordance with the applicable rules. Greca Travel may provide information in this regard, but is not responsible for it.

The offices of Greca Travel or Greca Travel e-service are open from Monday to Sunday, from 8:30 am to 17:30 pm, all year round, except when otherwise publicly announced. A 24-hour emergency phone is also available so we can assist our passengers in any moment of the day or night, helping them solve any inconveniences they may have.

Limitation of liability & force majeure

Greca Travel e-service P.C., known as tour operator and/or its representatives, acts only as an agent for the transport company or other companies. The liability of the tour operators and/or its proprietors is limited.


Tour operators and/or its agents will not be held liable in the event of a breakdown, loss, accident, disease, delay or any anomaly in any vehicles used for the transport, orany incident caused by any action of the employees or company in charge of the organization of the transport.


Tour operators and/or its representatives are not liable by any consular, political ormilitary issues that may be caused, voluntarily or involuntarily, by the passenger or any other person.


The operator is not liable for the actions or negligence of the owner of the hotels or its employees.


Greca Travel e-service P.C reserves the right to decline, accept or withhold any person, and change or cancel tours, if necessary, for any reason, including lack of payment, and may notify the local authorities.


Tour operators and/or their representatives are not responsible for the expenses that derive from modifications in the contracted services, due to adverse weather, statement of the official authorities of the country where the service is provided, epidemiological, strike and/or other external to Greca Travel.


Tour operators and/or their representatives are not responsible for damages or thefts that affect users and their property during the activity, as well as the expenses derived from such events.


Tour operators and/or their representatives are not responsible for errors, misunderstandings or delays that occur by travelers when they arrive at the meeting point of the activity.


Dispute resolution & severability

For any dispute that may arise responsible are the courts of Athens, Greece. 


If any provision of this terms and conditions is held invalid or unenforceable that provision will be eliminated or limited to the minimum extent possible, and the remainder of the letter will have fill force and effect. 


The booking request involves the acceptance of the Terms and Conditions listed above.

Problem resolution

If you have any problems related to the services purchased through Greca, you must contact us through our 24-hour emergency line to provide you with a quick solution.


If your complaint is not resolved or you are not satisfied with the resolution, you must send us a formal written email of your claim to [email protected], explaining all the relevant information in as much detail as possible, indicating your reservation code, and attaching all the information and evidence that you consider relevant.


The deadline for submitting your claim is 14 calendar days after your departure. After this date, we continue to accept claims, but we cannot guarantee the correct resolution of the same.
